I wrote a one-star review on Cannadel bc they wouldn't replace a 'failed out of the box' battery for a vape pen I bought there. The owner/manger reached out within a couple of days, recognized the problem & courteously offered to correct the situation. I have not had an opportunity to get back in to pick up a replacement batt but I want to acknowledge Cannadel's stepping up to make things right. Cannadel is a clean, well run shop on a good location; the parking can be tricky but not impossible. Not only the first dispensary I've been to as of a few months back, but now my go-to. Great discounts, especially if in industry. They carry a solid variety of flower, cartridges, topicals, and edibles/drinks. Unfortunately no good hash yet, and not sure on other concentrates, but still worth the trip. Cannadel Pro List: 1) The flower is Organic. At another local dispensary (starting with 'A' & I hate what their culture turned into at that other place) I was told some years ago that in California, "there's organic and then there's Organic" when it comes to flower & sometimes my significant allergy to non-organic pesticides would be triggered. NOTHING I've ever gotten at Cannadel triggered that allergy even a little - they are as pure as my delightful experience with legal Massachusetts flower. 2) CANNADEL IS AUTISTIC-FRIENDLY. And ADHD-friendly. And just friendly! To everyone. An attendant knows me (I come in only a few times a month) well enough to ask decent follow-up questions to what food and animal projects I've been elbow-deep in, but if a "how're you doing?" question is met with Just Silence, they say 'Naw it's okay; welcome' and socially cover it for me in a magical, normal sort of way where everything is warm and friendly and I'm accepted as a person first before being a customer. I really doubt that's unique. I've seen them be warm and welcoming to everyone who comes in the door, like 'welcome to the bonfire; dogs on your right; ocean is Forward.' If you're a little zany, come on by; they enjoy your fun silliness and the ambiance/vibe reminds me of the Old West culture of acceptance based on merit and good will instead of high school popularity cred. 3) The product selection always has a few More Affordable Options!! Usually BOTH in flower and in cartridge. And I'm still not getting systemically allergic!! 4) They worked out the rewards thing on the computer, I guess; I've never had a problem. They always inform ME I have rewards and ask if I want to use them and if so, do I want to take $5 off or $15 off? Cons: One review from the East Coast felt she was being unnecessarily hassled because of her out-of-state ID - I had failed to renew my California state ID last year and walked around with a passport ID for the longest time: BECAUSE the Cannadel system is not accustomed to my Federal, But Not State, ID, It Would Take Loads of Extra Time to Get My Presence Logged Into The Machine. Which was a great opportunity to chitchat and get to know everybody! My patience was rewarded with kindness. I understand fully. US Passports inside the US throw a lot of people (and have since I first opened a teenaged checking account). I feel absolutely terrible for and at the idea of anyone erroneously thinking it had to do with how they personally physically appear to others; it broke my heart that some people have to wonder if they're being bullied just for showing up somewhere new. Con #2: If you're walking to Village Pets afterward, be VERY careful double-crossing that nearby intersection! Especially in the evening, or in afternoon sun-blinding conditions. read more

As a native New Yorker from a diverse setting and with mixed ethnic backgrounds, my boyfriend and I did NOT receive the warmest welcome here. We were visiting this part of Cali and shortly found out we were not welcomed due to our ethnic backgrounds. The security guard and head desk person kept close eyes on us as if we were criminals. They even asked us to provide our ID TWICE because it didn't scan which I highly believe was a false statement. Ironically, the security guard himself was of Asian descent so it mind boggles me how another minority figure can be racist towards other minority groups. The 1 star is for the sales assistant who was the ONLY person who was friendly and welcoming to us. She truly was the only thing that kept us from walking out and deserves to work at a better business that this place. Needless to say, we stepped in here once and never again. Words of advice to this business and its workers- be kind and stop the judgment towards people of diverse ethnic backgrounds. You only limit your growth as a business with this limited mindset. read more
