I am a very lactose intolerant, borderline dairy allergy (severe migraines from it) person, and I've been eating vegan ice cream from various places for nearly twenty years. I meant to post this yesterday when I visited, but after driving Uber Eats for hours, I passed out at home right away. Please take the time and energy to support this black-owned business. What a wonderful experience, what a great time!…read more My company/department for work had a team meet-up. Often times we do activities. And thhe activity thisntime was baking cookies at Cooking with Curves! This is a very adorable location. The owner and staff were very kind and accommodating. There was about 12 or 13 of us. Cookie selected to be baked: Strawberry Lemon(with buttercream). It was a nice time from start to finish. Everything we could need to create the cookies was made available to us. The owner walked us through everything step by step. When it was time to mix, there were 3 hand mixers we used one at a time. The process was enjoyable. Simple cookie baking. As we waited for the cookies to bake, we playes games: Baking/cookies scrambled (were you figure out what words the letters create). Cookie/baking bingo (yell out COOKIE) And lastly Baking trivia. The time zoomed by as we played and waited. After the cookies were done, they cooled off, and we engaged each other and cleaned up. Soon we were icing our cookies with the buttercream we created. Some enjoyed at the location. I waited to get home. This was a great interactive meet up. Fun, easy and yummy! Kudos to the owner and her team for making the time and space wonderful. They have group rates, weekend fun for all,and even kids classes. Thanks again for a sweet time in baking! And just like always, you don't have to believe me, GO GET YOU SOME!
