I was in the neighborhood, and I was looking for a restaurant I can check out in the early morning…read morebreakfast hours. And I came across Andy's Grille and frozen custard. The eating area is clean and roomy, with a tv for entertainment while you wait for your order or dine in. The customer service was nice and polite. The cooks on the grill move quick, because my wait time for my order was short. I ordered the Fish & Chips dinner. It didn't come with a pop, for the side note. The batter on the fish wasn't bad. Just needed some more seasonings added to the batter to give it more flavor, but overall it wasn't bad. From what I observed, this place is good for the breakfast options. I also ordered a cheese burger, to see if it was worth it. And in my opinion it didn't meet my approval. I am interested in trying their Gyro plate. So I will be back to try that. I recommend others to check this place if you're looking for breakfast early morning.

Even though they were large, I really miss the smaller, well‑made sandwiches Soho used to have. The ambience has changed too. It no longer has that comfortable, relaxing feel that made Soho Sweets such a pleasant spot for South Holland. Instead, it feels like we traded a cozy neighborhood favorite for a very basic ice cream shop. SoHo Sweets had wonderful ice cream and great sandwiches. This new place was, unfortunately, a letdown.

The outdoor patio area is perfect for relaxing, with tables, chairs, and even a corn hole game for a little fun. As a pescatarian, I was thrilled to find so many options on the menu that fit my diet. The cauliflower tacos and sweet potato fries were amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient in helping me decide what to order. Inside, there is a charming little upstairs area that I am actually thinking about renting out for a Book Club meeting. The space offers free Wi-Fi and plenty of comfortable seating, whether you prefer lounging on a couch, sitting at a table, or relaxing at a barstool. I also appreciated that there is a bathroom on both floors, which is very convenient. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the stairs to the second level might be a bit challenging for anyone who struggles with stairs. Overall, SoHo Sweets has such a warm and homey atmosphere, great food, and friendly service. It is definitely a place I will be coming back to.

D E C O R I love how the owners created such a kid-friendly space. The color scheme, along with the action figures and toys alike brings such a vibrant vibe to the shop. S E R V I C E The owners, husband and wife, are so down to earth and super helpful and friendly. It was nice hearing their concept and future plans of the store. I just love small business owners. It's another reason you should give this place a try - great customer service. There aren't many stores giving good service these days. What better way to shop than at a local small business. I've been coming here a lot more lately, and every single time I'm in, there's one person who…read morealways catches my attention--and that's the young lady working the front, She said her name was Kennedy. She is hands down one of the hardest working people I've seen in any establishment, and I don't say that lightly. It honestly shocked me to find out she's only being paid for a regular cashier role. Every time I come in, she's multi-tasking like a manager--handling online orders, working the drive-thru, making ice cream, cooking food, helping customers at the front, and still managing to keep a smile on her face. Meanwhile, I've seen actual managers standing around or not even present at all at this establishment. What really stands out about her is not just how much she does--but how well she does it. She's sweet, attentive, respectful, and fast, all while doing the job of three or four people. I've seen other workers in the past act rude or lazy. She brings the kind of energy and professionalism that makes people like me want to keep coming back. I even came in the other day just hoping someone would acknowledge her efforts--maybe tell her thank you or lend her a hand. It made me genuinely upset to see her busting her tail like that with no help, while still being kind to everyone around her. That's rare these days. Whoever's running this place needs to take a closer look--because that girl is a leader, whether she's getting paid for it or not. And she deserves to be recognized, respected, and properly compensated for the incredible job she does. I'm hoping Corporate sees this because this is truly unacceptable.

I ordered the corned beef hash skillet, and it did not disappoint. I always appreciate when a restaurant makes their corned beef hash in-house--it makes a difference--and this one was full of flavor and served piping hot. It also came with a side of pancakes, which were some of the fluffiest I've ever had. One small touch I really appreciated was the variety of flavored coffee creamers available at the table. It's nice to have options beyond the usual half-and-half. A fun surprise: my food was delivered by a robot! I'd heard about this but had never experienced it in person--definitely a cool and memorable touch. Service was fast, friendly, and welcoming.
