There's no hidden shop fees or upcharges here, plus they'll go out of their way to help and fit you in when in a time crunch. I'm glad to have a found a dealer that still appreciates its customers. Candy Ford-Mercury in Charlotte, MI is horrible. don't send your car there, the employees aren't accommodating and mess up a lot. The people at the front desk who checks your order out at are just plain rude and VERY unaccommodating. My family has bought a few cars from there (2005 Ford Taurus, which was bought new, and a used 1993 Villager they have pretty much fallen apart. On the villager two days after we bought it a tire popped off and then about a month after that we had to replace the transmission (Very expensive) We've had the Villager for under a year and we've put much more into it than we paid. Our 2005 ford taurus has had a lot of problems also. It does this thing where it accelerates itself. We were driving on the highway the first time it happened and it took itself all the way up to 80 mph and had a LOT of trouble stopping the car. We called Candy Ford a few days later(It was the weekend and they were closed) and they did NOTHING about it. We are getting rid of both of the LEMONS we got from Candy Ford mercury. I would not advise ANYBODY to buy or get a repair from Candy Ford. They overcharge for the parts they purchase to repair your car and the cars are all pretty much crap. I have not seen a Candy Ford purchased car that isn't an absolute Lemon. It may work well when you're checking the car out and taking it for a drive but I promise that something with the car, van, or truck will go seriously wrong within the first year you bought it. DO NOT BUY FROM CANDY FORD. I am seriously upset with them for all that they have screwed up with my vehicles and can happily say that I will never buy from them again. read more
