So I just stayed here three nights for a work trip. Check in was quick and seamless. The main areas include a gym, laundry facilities, an area where you can borrow kitchen items, games, etc and a little store with food items, toiletries, and meds. The room was large with a long work desk. There was a good size t.v. that pivots. The bed was comfortable and I slept well there. Rooms were decently soundproofed. There was not a full kitchen (as advertised), but it is pretty close: it had a decent sized fridge, a cooktop, a microwave, a dishwasher, a few pots/pans/tupperware containers, as well as utensils/plates/bowls/cuos/glasses for two people. It did not have an oven, which I think would take it to a full kitchen. It did have packaged salt and pepper, in case you do cook there. There were also packets of powdered creamer and sweetener, for your coffee. Maybe because you have the kitchenette in the rooms, there is no included breakfast. The coffee machine is a small drip type (not Keurig) and seemed to only work with the few pre-filled coffee pads they provided 1-2 of. I tried using my own coffee with a paper filter and that did not work so well. There is a drive through Starbucks just a block or two away, so not a big deal. Plus there was brewed coffee in the lobby area. The bathroom was spacious enough, with pretty fast hot water (but pretty poor water pressure). Housekeeping services are only provided every 7 days, though you could apparently ask for additional towels if desired. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and the kitchenette was appreciated (as I brought nearly all of my own food for my stay).

First and foremost, I give this place 5 stars! If I could give it more. Oh, my goodness, I would totally. We were traveling back home to Oregon with major truck mechanic problems. And we had a special Uncle passed away. So we were in Lodi and just too exhausted from car problems. You name it, it happened, so my husband's aunt said. This place was amazing, so we came out here. They gave us the military discount. We let them know that we are here for a funeral. And just horrible day coming to find out that this hotel is the least expensive for a pet deposit. Yes, I said a pet deposit. Some other hotels in this town wanted to charge $125. Deposit to have an animal, and they said they were pet friendly. Not this place, it was awesome. $25 is all they ask for deposit. Without being said, the gentleman that worked a front desk. His name is Nick, this man. I hope says with this company for a long time. He is a major asset to this company. And was so helpful and just all around awesome. I want to make sure that I gave him a thumbs app 15 million times and to thank him for making us feel at home. The room is just stunning. I have my disabled granddaughter with me, a very large rottweiler, and if she is very clean and this amazing room did it actually make you feel like home? I'll never say anywhere else again. I will make sure I always look for this hotel chain. Wherever I may be if you have to say somewhere. It's just looks like it's at the very end of the road. That's beautiful, it's behind my pin. I don't care for Best Western plus but it's behind that security. They have on-site cameras, your items are safe. You're not near any of the c*** downtown. Or any of that not well-to-do people but I feel very safe thumbs up Nick, thank you so much for helping us feel at home in our desperate time. I hope that your boss knows you're such an asset to this company, thank you. And I hope your boss knows what an asset you are to this company, thank you very much

I've been here for 2 weeks the cleaning people still haven't picked up the cockroach in my bathroom.

They do not honor the twic government ID card discount. Which makes the room 90 dollars instead of 145 dollars.

Staff are really friendly and nice, had no issues at all. Room was beautiful and spacious, had a lovely view and it was convenient that they had a mini kitchen including a stove top so I did not have to order takeout or get fast food.

    My room.

The craftsman style house, great lawn/tent and fountain are all an idealic setting to celebrate a wedding. After looking at several wineries in Lodi for our ceremony and reception, it became obvious to my fiance and I that Bare Ranch was the total package. Beautiful setting and very reasonably priced... Score! Because Micheal David Winery owns the property, Michael David wines are served at weddings - double score! The whole process in booking our Spring 2012 wedding has been so easy and enjoyable. Lori has been a joy to work with and has given me as a bride something priceless... peace of mind! Any brides considering a vineyard wedding should see this place first hand, photos do not do it justice!

Bare Ranch is easy to get to and is a very beautiful place. Well maintained and spacious. There is a gorgeous pool area for cocktail hour and white tent for reception is included. Don't need to decorate much cause this place is naturally smashing. Met with the event coordinator, Lori, and she is a doll. Love the fact that they only do ONE wedding a day (that's a big deal when there are SO many details involved.) We are really drawn to this place.. She's welcoming, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable, but never overwhelming. Instead, she creates a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. What really sets her apart is her consistency. It's not just one great visit--every time we've been there, she's gone above and beyond with the same positive energy and attention to detail. Because of her, this winery has become our go-to spot. I even celebrated my 50th birthday here, and it was such a memorable experience. All of my guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing Rachelle was--everyone felt taken care of, comfortable, and truly impressed with the service. The winery itself is beautiful, accommodating, and perfect for gatherings, which made the celebration even better. On top of that, the entire team at Calivirgin is fantastic. Everyone we've interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience. The wine is excellent, the setting is great, and the people are what truly make this place stand out for us. We'll absolutely keep coming back, and a big reason for that is Rachelle.

Tonight, we returned for another birthday, but the experience was nothing like before. We arrived at 6:10 PM for our 6:15 reservation. Upon entering, the hostess walked right past us with another party, without so much as a "I'll be right with you." Another employee eventually asked if we'd been helped; when we said no, she said she'd find someone. We were finally seated, and our server, Monica, was the bright spot--attentive, friendly, and kept us updated on our food. That food, however, took nearly an hour to arrive, and we watched several tables who were seated after us receive their meals first. When our dishes did come, they arrived in stages--the succotash and salmon first, then the pork chop and gnudi about seven minutes later. Worse, nearly everything was cold and overdone. Pork chop: Unevenly cooked--some parts dry and overcooked, others undercooked. The potato purée was gummy and overworked, though well-seasoned. Salmon: Overcooked and bland; I had to ask for salt and pepper just to add flavor. The corn velouté underneath was unpleasant--the corn kernels were dried out and rock-hard (I circled the pieces I had to spit out in the photo). The beans were burnt, not charred, and tasted bitter and inedible. The succotash was flavorless and had 1/2 cherry tomato poorly executed. Gnudi: The lobster was chewy and overcooked, and the dish was dry--it desperately needed a sauce and a bright note like lemon to bring it together. The only course that delivered was dessert. For the price, the quality was disappointing across the board. Needless to say, we'll be looking for a new spot for our future celebrations.
