The rental starts at $3,000, but once the deposit is paid, she adds numerous hidden fees: $150 for PGE, a $1,200 deposit, insurance for her ranch, and up to four security guards for events with over 200 guests. Julia claims the venue can hold 400 guests with plenty of parking, but the lot only fits about 100 cars. She also denied entry to some guests while allowing her own family to crash the event and help themselves to our food and drinks. Throughout the event, she constantly nitpicked and intimidated guests, making them feel unwelcome and turning what should have been a celebration into a stressful experience. She bragged about her private bathrooms near her home, stating she supplies extras like bobby pins, menstrual pads, and hair ties, but refused to let guests use them, directing everyone to portable toilets instead. In the end, the cost rose to nearly $5,000--far from the original $3,000 we were quoted. Julia is dishonest and will find excuses to keep your deposit. Avoid this venue at all costs.

So many of our guests complimented on how wonderful and delicious the food was and asked who we used. Working with Paul and Yvette was wonderful. I had ordered the tri-tip, chicken piccata, pesto pasta, Caesar salad, focaccia bread, and veggies- SO Delicious!!! It was so tasty and delicious. It was perfection!!! if you are considering to use a catering company for a big or small event I highly recommend using Heritage Dining and provisions, you or your guest will not be disappointed.

Lina stepped up for us and helped put together a FANTASTIC party. She transformed a businesslike boardroom into a magical place for a ceremony. She provided the tables, chairs, curtains, most of the decorations, and did the floral pieces as well. She coordinated with our vendors and helped make the ceremony and luncheon one that my parents and their guests will remember forever. In addition to all the setup and coordination, she suggested a photo booth that would print out photos right there that all our guests enjoyed. We could not have done it without her and would gladly recommend her to anyone.

Once we eventually got our photos back we could see just how badly she had done. She used fake flowers when we paid for real, used the literal cheapest decor everywhere possible. We were sold a dream and were left with unlit tacky candles, plastic walls, exposed sand bags and BARE minimum decor. Practically everything she did for us was CHEAP and TACKY. She lied to us about having "a team" when it was just her husband and son that evening. When we reached out for a refund she agreed (clearly she knew she didn't do a good job) but when it was time to pay us she ghosted us for a year despite multiple efforts. Stay far away!!!

The owners were incredibly supportive--reliable, responsive, and followed through on every promise. One of the things we appreciated most was their flexibility. Unlike many venues that require you to use their preferred vendors for catering, bartending, or florals, August Meadows gave us the freedom to choose our own. That made a huge difference in creating a day that felt personal and unique. We also opted to have them handle the cleanup the following morning, and it was absolutely worth the extra cost--stress-free and seamless. The location itself is secluded and offers a wonderful sense of privacy. I highly recommend visiting in person to ensure it aligns with your expectations. As a small heads-up: the parking area is unpaved, and there's a bit of gravel to walk through, which posed a slight challenge for a few guests in high heels. Also, having a microwave in the clubhouse would be a nice addition. Other than that, our experience was outstanding. I would wholeheartedly recommend August Meadows to anyone looking for a beautiful, flexible, and well-managed venue.

Last night we enjoyed really good clam chowder with fresh French bread and butter. Next came a great tossed green salad followed by yummy pesto. The two main dishes were tri-tip and then crab, both marinated and plain. Both red and white wine were complementary at each table. Full-service bar was available. This great meal was followed by ice cream for dessert. All that for $50! The crab legs were quite small and they ran out of plain crab quickly. Hopefully, by next year they will solve both of these issues. Of course there were raffles, door prizes and 50-50 money prizes. The night ended with dancing to some great music for those that were able to stand up after that big meal! Lol Sorry I was so busy eating i had no time to take pictures.
