Let's start with: Beyond. worse. experience. ever…read more It started with a phone call from my beloved brother and sister in law saying there was something wrong with her wedding dress that she had just picked up from Lei and her custom team that she had previously bought at The White Dress. Keep in mind this dress was ABSOLUTELY beautiful on my sister in law, that is before Lei and her team worked with it. In a heart beat I drove to see my sister in law and helped her with her dress. As she put the dress on, ladies and gentlemen, it was thee worst and most disappointing fit a seamstress could ever do. The seams on the back were buckled, the sheer was cut incorrectly, the lace on her chest region was cut, and the dress was so heavy on her shoulders that you couldn't even see the straps. My poor sister in law was left in tears when it's supposed to be her dream dress. The dress was just the beginning my friends. The customer service was horrendous. I immediately called Lei that evening to speak with her and told her what happened. And this woman had the audacity to tell me it was like that before she touched the dress. Are you serious? I had pictures before she "fixed" the dress and she sent me pictures to my cell phone saying there was nothing wrong with it afterwards. She was arguing with me about her job and how there was nothing she could do to fix it and how there were NO openings for her before her wedding date which was a week away. Pushing forward, I immediately called the White Dress about this and they were incredible with accommodating and recommending us to a new seamstress that fit us in that next morning. Weddings are supposed to be amazing and Lei and her team almost ruined my sister in law's greatest day. Zero stars if I could, beyond disappointed.

The quality and expertise that Lei's shop has is staggering. They go to bridal expos, get some of the best material, and are encyclopedic with their knowledge of the industry. With all the bridezillas of the world running around, I was surprised at the customer service and the lengths they went to get our dream dress done just right. The expectations were very clearly communicated from start to finish. Fast forward to the wedding, my bride is breathtaking. It might have been a little hard to see the dress because I may have been theoretically crying because there were theoretical tears in my eyes, but I thought the dress looked perfect.
