I'd say the taste overall skewed a little more cutesy than my own personal taste but I still found things I liked and would buy. They have scents that I've never heard of and all their scents are accurate. By accurate I mean smells like the label minus cheap perfume additives. They also had lotion, soaps, t-shirts. CBD body products and handmade candle holders, the birch tree candle holders were cool. One of their scents was something like orange chili taco. Resulting in my immediate demand for tacos. Honestly, it sounded nasty but smelled excitingly accurate and fun! Lover and I had those geeky giant surprise smiles after sniffing the one that makes you crave tacos! I bought the Oakmoss &Amber and Tomato Leaf. The Tomato Leaf smells like the memory of a fresh garden and off the Vine tomatoes. My house will smell like a dirty garden and I can't wait. We spent an hour there while enjoying talking to the owners and sampling many of their products. They were also serving free champagne today which was SOOOO good! The owners have an amazing story of their life in Hawaii and how this business was started. I ended up with a lotion, bath product and lip scrub. Later that evening I tried them all and I am 100% impressed. My gf also came home with goodies that she loves. No more having to drive to Bath and Body in the Mall. In that respect, the Rondeau's Shopping Center was a godsend. Conveniently located between a gas station and the Cable Visitors Center, Rondeau's is really two businesses on one -- there's a True Valley hardware store on the left and a grocery store on the right. We visited both twice during our one-week stay in Cable. Hardware Store (rating: 5/5 for a small-town hardware store). Sure, their inventory is smaller than the big box stores at home, but they had all of the camping equipment and insect repellent that we were looking for and at competitive prices. The two cashiers that we dealt with very helpful (to locate items) and friendly in general. Groceries side (rating: 3/5). We were very pleased to have the Rondeau's in Cable -- to avoid having to drive long distances for groceries -- and they did have most of the items on our grocery list. That said, expect to pay somewhat more than you would in big chain stores. For example, fresh bagels were $4.49 for 4, while fresh corn on the cob was 6/$3.99. (May, 2023). They did have a nice beer selection (including dark stouts) and some bargains on the clearance table. In terms of the grocery staffing, I had a nice conversation with a woman stacking the shelves, but a more disturbing one with a check-out woman. (Without there being a Customer Service Desk, I showed her a receipt that I had been overcharged for an item two days earlier. While she did give me a credit for the overcharge, I got some attitude. "Perhaps the price decreased since you bought it." It's not the $$, but the principle of overcharging for the item, and then not wanting to correct it.
