Stopped in just to browse, and it was such a unique store with a lot of local offerings and other unique kitchen items that I ended up having a hard time leaving. Just as I was about to depart, and basking in the large wall of flavored vinegar's and olive oil's, a German gentleman (who I assumed was the owner) asked if I'd like to sample a few of the oils and vinegar's. I ended up taking a small taste of a few, and I couldn't believe how good they were! Truly amazing flavors blends emanated from these blends, and it was really fascinating to hear of how the product had been aged in Jack Daniel's barrels for 10, 12+ years. I ended up buying the Honey Ginger Balsamic Vinegar, and off the suggestion of the owner who remarked that some people put that blend in their tea, I started doing the same and...WOW! My favorite drink by far now is the Yogi "Lemon Ginger" tea with just a teaspoon of the honey ginger vinegar mix. Each blend was $11 apiece..pricey I thought before testing the blends..a steal of a deal in hindsight for how much flavor is packed into just a teaspoon, and also considering each was aged for 11 years! The other flavor I purchased was a balsamic fig blend that I haven't opened yet, but plan on using for future Ron Swanson's (savory salad's). Whoa..Ron Swanson eats..savory salads?

I got a bottle of the garlic EVOO and a bottle of the 18 year aged balsamic vinegar. Together they make the best salad dressing! I highly recommend checking this place out they have a ton of cooking utensils and gadgets. The staff is super nice and you can try any of the oils or vinegars before you buy them. The staff will even tell you how each of the pair to make salad dressings and other things.
