The clerk greeted me upon arrival as he returned to assisting a couple ahead of me. This was their first visit as well. They had used CBD oil for some time and excited to have a place nearby. The clerk was patient with all of us as we bombarded him with questions. He explained all of the options and products available. No idea if the prices were reasonable because I have nothing to compare. I left content with my purchase and will definitely return.

I went there myself and experienced it as well. We moved our business to other companies who aren't smarmy and condescending to their customers. 2nd Experience: My wife needed a tire for her bike. They were rude and completely unhelpful. We wound up buying the tire online rather than use them. We always try to use local businesses first, but not when it comes to Saw This 3rd Experience: They sell storage buildings. I set up a time to go in and look at them, when I got there no one could answer any questions and all of the display buildings they had were crammed full of their own junk. It looks like the storage company manufacturer pulled their buildings out of there not long after. 4th Experience: I had to have a kayak rack for my vehicle, THAT DAY, so I had to go there and buy one. They couldn't answer my questions intelligently so I had to go online and find out for myself. I bought one only because I had to. Their price was 30% higher than everywhere else. I only purchased from them because my time was constrained and I didn't have a choice. Hours aren't consistent but their attitude is consistently poor.

It was going to be custom built and hoped for delivery end of October to Faribault, MN. Claire kept us up to date, the carpenter kept us up to date, the painter reverified coloring and the delivery guy kept us up to date and arrived in afternoon like he said it would. Due to the number of sheds ordered, it came in November, vs. October, but we were ok with that as Claire (Owner?) had called. A superbly crafted shed, 25 year shingles, reinforced floor, 2x4s' 16" on center, ramp, diamond plate guard on the entrance, etc., etc. Great customer service and very happy with the shed.

10-year-old me would have loved this shop. When I was young I went through a rock phase -- as do we…read moreall, I'm sure. I had my rock collection, kept in an army green tackle box, which included pretty gems and stones bought at stores and others I found that I thought just looked pretty. I know what you're thinking: Yes, I was one of the popular kids in school. ;-P Anyway, decades later, I still get a bit giddy when I come across tiny boxes with miniature cards in them with the scientific name of a newly polished rock originally found in nature. Hematite's pretty tight, amiright? So I was excited to stumble upon Jack Pine Rock Shop while on vacation in Hayward. This shop packs lots to look at in a small space. It has the boxes with different stones and crystals classified, along with the woo-woo mystical traits they supposedly possess. It also has some more artistic and carved pieces in glass cases to gaze upon. There were some marble items that would look pretty on a bookshelf or table as a statement piece. The prices seemed to range from inexpensive to luxury. It was fun to peruse it all, and I hope my son is as totally cool as I was when he grows up and that I can take him here to get a few rocks for his special collection.

Even if you are…read morenot really into rocks, it's a fun place to visit, with lots to see, touch and inquire about. The Jack Pine Rock Shop offers a really nice variety -- from rough stones that are just a dollar or two to large, expensive polished rocks and other pieces (most recently I had to stop myself from buying a $300 lazy susan made of the most beautiful marble). There's lots to touch and talk about, which makes it a great stop for kids. And the staff is extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. They always indulge our family with advice, tidbits and a wealth of information about their products. This is a must-stop place for our family each summer when we visit Hayward. Though I rarely buy anything, many of my family members look forward to bringing home a little gem from the rock shop each year. One other thing to note: they do an extremely good job wrapping the items you buy -- something essential to getting them home in one piece and definitely not to be overlooked.
