I like looking at the handmade items along with the books There is usually some local artwork of interest. My experience with the person running the store was not as 'friendly' as some of the other posters. I was greeted pleasantly and made small talk while browsing. All was going well until the man at the desk asked me if I was taking pictures on my cell phone. I was standing near the front counter using my cellphone to text my friend where to meet me. I was so insulted and embarrassed in front of other customers. So be warned - phones away and hands up if you shop there.

I love this place, way better and cheaper than color me mine and there is no studio fee. You walk…read morein pick what you want to paint and what it says on the bottom of the piece is what you pay. No extra costs. Then you paint and give it to them when you're done & it takes about 4 days for you hem to get it backThey also have a bar and a little shop right inside and if you decide that you don't want to paint pottery they have other art you can do too like canvas painting or wood painting. And the staff is really nice and helpful. I wish this place was closer to my home, I'd be there all the time if it was !! Update: they put candy in the cup when you pick it up!
