The bar is dog friendly as long as you keep your pup on a leash. Park in the back or walk in front grab a cold frosty drink or root beer and make your way to the food truck which by the way is named after the food truck in the Cheech & Chong movie. The chicken katsu was crispy and was served with rice and macaroni salad. The smoothie was filling and delicious. My colleague enjoyed his fish and chips ($8.99) and sweet tea ($1.85). They have a drive-through and are quite popular among the younger high school and college crowd. Parking was adequate. Total bill was about $30 before tax and the 3% credit card processing fee. Happy to return.

Comparing to other places, it doesn't hit the spot as well; however it definitely fulfilled my cravings. Ordered a three meat combo, which comes with three different meats from their selection of five with a side of rice and macaroni salad. I got the chicken katsu, bulgogi beef, and Kalua pork. Mixed reviews with the different meats. The chicken katsu was fine, although it felt a little bit dry. The bulgogi beef for whatever reason was kind of a miss; the portion I received was pretty burnt and dry, sometimes I felt like I was just eating charcoal really rather than actual beef. However I really loved the Kalua pork, it was nice, tender, and flavorful. The house teriyaki sauce also complimented the meats pretty well. For the price you pay, I would say it's definitely worth it; the amount of food itself is more than enough for one meal (could even stretch it to 2 meals for those with smaller appetites). Overall, it's good for what you get out here in a more remote town. However, don't have super high expectations when you plan on getting Hawaiian food out here, otherwise you may feel disappointed. Service was really great, they prepared the food pretty quickly within 5-10 minutes of my order. I got take out, however there is plenty seating if you wanted to dine in.

Had a great time tonight at the Tucson Food Truck Round-Up. There was a great energy, a ton of…read morepeople, plentiful food selections, and easy and ample parking. One of my friends tweeted that it was "Truck Exhaust + Good Eats". That kind of sums it up. That being said there were also huge lines, I waited for about an hour for MaFooCo and my friend waited an hour and a half for Planet of the Crepes. The food that was well worth the wait, but like a boy scout you should be prepared. Take heed if you plan on going to an event like this, get here when it starts to avoid the long lines or divide and conquer sending members of your group to different trucks and sample together. Our group was able to hit 5 different hot-spot trucks using the divide and conquer approach. Seating is limited so if you have some folding chairs they will come in handy. There is a huge value in this event for those of us who don't work near a food truck. It's a casual and inexpensive way to get to try foods off the beaten path. I will definitely be at the next Round-up!

It's worth a trip to Green Valley from Tucson. The drive is beautiful also. The food truck is positioned in a really pretty area and it has a peaceful small cozy garden vibe. The smell was obnoxiously great when we were approaching its location. Incredible food, great service, and reasonably priced. We had a Sonoran dog, Barbacoa tacos, carne asada tacos, Baja shrimp tacos, and a carne asada Carmello. Each great on their own, but my favorite were the Barbacoa tacos. The red sauce is pretty spicy, but the other green sauce is good. The quacamole is smooth and just right on the lime. Will absolutely be coming back. Went back again today, and bought enough for the whole family who loved it too!
