A very tiny bakery with lots of good stuff! They also have bed and breakfast place. I do believe they deserve a five star rating, service is very friendly, food is good. And if you want to sit outside and enjoy the morning sun, they have that area for you. If you're visiting the State parks, don't forget to check this place out.

Great place for a coffee and pastry in the morning.

Great find! This cute little bakery is of the beaten path, but well worth the extra navigation. It is part of a B&B in a residential neighborhood. They have a shady green courtyard with bistro tables to enjoy coffee and Danish with a friend. The baked goods definitely had a breakfast slant when we were there. Danish, pecan rolls, cinnamon buns, lemon bars, and lots more. There were also some homemade breads. We tried the pecan roll. It was definitely fresh and soft with the ooey gooey center that everyone loves. It was not too sweet which I liked. We got a couple cookies to go and they were a great treat later in our day.

Excellent coffee!!! Cute little place with nice staff. It was crowded on an early Saturday morning. They were out of several items by 900 am. The bakery items were okay. We had the almond croissant which was too sweet and not crispy or flaky. The courtyard is a beautiful setting; mountain view.

If you are ever driving through Safford, this is a must stop! Cottage Bakery is a local bakery, adjacent to a bed and breakfast, making fresh baked goods from different breads to homemade cinnamon and pecan rolls. They are tucked in the back next past a quaint courtyard. Although they have a private parking lot, it is quite small. The business hours of the bakery are Tue-Fri 7am-1pm, Sat 8am-1pm, and they are closed Sun and Mon. Be sure to try to get there early when they have all their goodies in stock. The closer you arrive towards 1pm, the fewer the selection. They also have select fresh baked breads depending on the day of the week. You can call ahead of time if you have a special order. Additionally, they serve different espresso and non-coffee based drinks. You can grab a fresh croissant and latte for breakfast. Another neat feature that really intrigued me was that they sell fresh, local free-range, cage-free eggs by the dozen. It's nice to see the local comradery and support. You really can't go wrong with any of the baked goods here. I bought a vanilla latte, spinach and feta croissant and homemade cinnamon roll. It was the best thing I've eaten in awhile, especially baked goods! The croissant was so flaky and filled with a lovely balance of the feta and spinach. The cinnamon roll and its icing were not overly sweet and the notes of cinnamon and nutmeg came out beautifully with each bite. I wish I had stocked up on all the baked goods but that just means I'll have to stop by the next time I'm in the area. This place is a must try for anyone visiting or driving through! Stop in for fresh baked goods with friends or treat yourself to something tasty. You won't be disappointed!

We met with friends for coffee and breakfast…read more I had just plain coffee which was a nice blend My wife had the mimosa flight; mango, peach, pomegranate, strawberry The mango was nice, with a tajin rim Peach is very nice, I didn't get to taste the pomegranate The strawberry was delicious We also ordered a savory crepe, with eggs, potatoes, sausage, and green Chile The crepe was a bit thick for my tastes, but it was tasty, the green chile was only barely there and not really noticable, the sausage was a good breakfast sausage The accompanying salsa had good flavor but almost no heat The outside patio was perfect this morning If I am in town I would consider returning, I would recommend

I also got a sugar-free Red Bull with mango syrup. I wanted the soup, but it's seasonal and doesn't start until October. The chicken bacon ranch wasn't bad, but I wasn't really blown away by it either. The pasta salad needs to be called "olive salad". There's so many olives in it, so so many! The cookie was the best part, not sure if they make them or get them from somewhere. Wish I knew where so I can order a ton of them! The Red Bull syrup wasn't bad I guess. I just wanted the Red Bull and decided to try the syrup flavor added. The young lady taking the order was very polite and patient. Nothing really caught my eye. Cool store inside though. Glad I tried it

After I was seated, I asked for my surf and she said no problem. Because not all restaurants are willing to serve half coffee and half hot cocoa. I ordered a French toast plate and it was just the right amount. Very nice service and the food was good. If I'm ever in this town of Saford, Arizona, I'll definitely eat here again. 8/9 outa 10.

The non-review review…read more.... Well, unfortunately, I only made it to the bathroom and I understand the restaurant is from 1966 and I love old things, however, this establishment was not a good fit for me. I happen to love old things; I love old Antiques, I love the old ways, I love old places , but when it comes to eating, I guess I'm a little on the picky side. Unfortunately, I didn't even make it to the booth or table because when I walked in, I walked right by a server who was sitting down at the counter which I was really excited about, I wanted to sit there because it reminded me of when my dad would take me out to the local Walgreens (or sandwich place) and we would get a little bite to eat and a sundae in a sundae glass!! Granted it is the lull of the day for a Saturday, but I was ignored and then I tried to get the attention of the guy behind the counter by walking straight past the server (whom I thought may have been off shift) but he also ignored me??? I'm not sure maybe he has a hearing impairment? I said, "excuse me " a couple of times and that's when the server Finally said she could help me. I have a sibling who is Deaf - I also know sign language so I'm not judging, I was just puzzled because I was completely ignored. It was very quiet by this time. The server who was sitting down on her phone maybe doing paperwork then turned to me to help. I asked if they were closed, thinking maybe I was too late since they were no hours posted on the door ? By this time, I had already driven over an hour or so to get here so a quick bathroom break was needed. I had seen another review that was positive online so I thought I would give it a try for a burger and some fries - pretty simple order. After going to the bathroom first and seeing the condition of the bathroom, I just decided it was not for me. I think I'm overly picky when it comes to restaurants, so I'm sure it's just me. For the first time, I decided not to take a chance and I'm seeking elsewhere to find a burger locally! I will say there were plenty of people that were here when I arrived, and they seemed happy, I just think I'm going to pass on this experience.
