Due to overzealous plucking as a teen, my brows thinned to non-existence over the years and with diminishing eyesight as well, my attempts to fill them in with pencil resulted in likeness to Cruella DeVille. Today I had a wonderful experience at Rejuv. The establishment is a very clean and calm environment. I was accommodated on a Sunday as I work six days a week and Sundays are the only days I could attend an appointment. My microblading session was pain free I did not feel a thing! Woohoo!! Got my brows microbladed :)!! I was hesitant at first, because I haven't done anything like this before...I don't even have any tattoos! Candi was highly recommended by a few of my friends for this semi-permanent procedure, so I decided to give it a go. I contacted her with 1,001 questions, and she answered them all without making me feel like a bother. I set an appointment about a week and a half out. On the day of my appointment, I was nervous and excited at the same time. Candi's office is calm, cool, and relaxing, and definitely helped with my jitters. We got right to work deciding on a shape for me, drawing it on, and tweaking the shape to my liking. She uses an awesome numbing agent so there is minimal discomfort. The entire procedure took about 2 hours from start to finish, and comes with after care cream and instructions, as well as a touch up 5-8 weeks later. Payment options are cash or card. Keep in mind if you are using a credit card, there is a 3% processing fee with the credit card processing thingy used. If you wanna save yourself that fee, just bring cash :). I was very pleased with my experience, and so far I am thrilled with my brows (I'm on day 3 of healing). Candi is very professional, thorough, and loves what she does. I finally made a decision and a GREAT decision it was! I was on a forever debate with myself about getting my eyebrows done. Parking is an issue for the place, but great part about it is you can just park in front and someone will park your car for you (I love valet service LOL). She is the sweetest! Rejuv is a cute little spot above Shea's Auto Detailing in Kalihi...It's not your frilly high end spa so if that's what you're looking for, you could not be more disappointed. However, if you want a full body experience that will leave you feeling more rejuvenated than when you went it, then look no further. Candi is really attentive and she LISTENS. When she asks if you'd like any particular area to be focused on, she means business. Pressure was perfect, and let me tell you....the knots I had in my shoulders got their butt whooped. I work long hours on my feet at the hospital, so a proper massage is better than ice cream cake on a hot day. Her prices are extremely reasonable and she runs awesome monthly specials ALL the time, so be sure to check out her website. I recommend going slightly early to find the place if it's your first time....there's street parking, but you can also park in the Auto Detail shop. If I could give Rejuv 6 stars I would. This little gem is located on top of a body shop, which, to be honest was a bit of a turn off at first (turns out the body shop is her husband's). DO NOT LET THIS DETER YOU. I repeat DO NOT LET THIS DETER YOU. Upstairs is very clean, welcoming, comfortable and the perfect ambiance for your massage/services. During your massage, you don't hear anything downstairs. Candi is professional, and welcoming and I can honestly say it is the best message I've ever received on the island (and I frequent Massage palors). I told her my expectations and problem areas and she far exceeded my expectations. I walked out of there feeling utterly AMAZING. She uses high quality products (Doterra oils) for her massages. I still feel and smell (lol) incredible now, on the day after. I took at look at her regular prices before I left and they are very reasonable. Before I left she spent time discussing face care with me (I brought up the facials) and Candi was very honest about what would work best for my face care regime. I had planned to buy two regimens and she said I needed neither of them, recommended something else which cut my cost by more than half. She is honest, and not trying to "sell you." You can tell she is passionate about what she does and has a genuine interest in helping clients meet their mind and body goals :) I'm glad a friend gave me a groupon for my birthday cause I may not have had the privilege of being Candi's client. Being that I work in the healthcare field, I have been to many massage therapists to undo the many knots in my neck and upper shoulder area. Candi is by far one of the best, her hands are AMAZING! She definitely made me feel relaxed at my appointment, my body felt so relaxed I think I fell asleep! While on vacation in Oahu, my mom and I decided we wanted to treat ourselves to massages (I had never been, so I was especially excited/a little bit nervous--I wondered if strangers touching me was going to be more awkward than luxurious). REJUV is located above a mechanic shop (the owner, Candi's, husband's) so it's a bit tricky to locate, but luckily her husband saw my mom and I and directed us up the stairs to the massage room. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING, the massages went above and beyond my expectations and you cannot beat the price. They have specials constantly and if I lived in Oahu I would be here every month! My mom and I had 50 minute Swedish massages for $80 and added foot massages for only $10 more a piece. So, for $100 we received two massages and foot specials. TWO. I loved my first experience thanks to REJUV, but unfortunately I'll be comparing this place with everywhere else and I already know they won't be able to compete. P.S. Did my homework on Sculpting Micro Blading, read a lot of reviews, seen before and after photos & videos of Candi's clients and was very excited to get my eyebrows done. Candi is professional and very good at what she does! Before starting we talked about what kind of eyebrows I wanted, she explained in detail what I could expect, answered my questions, then drew out the eyebrows on me to be sure we were on the same page. The setting was perfect; soothing and relaxing music to the perfect temperature of the room. I was so relaxed that I think I fell asleep a few times Saw videos of past clients claiming no pain but I'd have to admit that I was a little skeptical. But I too can testify that there was no pain or discomfort. I am so very pleased with the results. It turned out exactly how Candi drew it out before starting. When it was done, it was explained in detail the do's and don'ts to ensure proper healing and sent me home with a one-sheeter as well as post-care cream. Drawing my eyebrows every morning was indeed a chore; some days looked better than others if you know what I mean. If I had a stencil, I'd probably have an easier time but now, it's WAKE UP AND GO. Easily best massage I've ever had. I fell asleep -- which never happens for me in a massage, especially because I'm a ticklish person. I think I fell asleep during the foot massage portion -- ALSO never happens to me, that's my most ticklish spot. I was so relaxed and came out feeling like a new person. I will be coming back! It's not an obvious location, it's located upstairs and you get in through Shea's Detailing. You'd think that a detailing shop would have a lot of noise, but they do a really good job with noise cancellation -- they have relaxing music playing and some fans running so that you don't notice anything else. It may not look like much on the outside, but don't let that deter you from an amazing massage! Candi is very professional, friendly, and attentive to your needs. Usually when I say "my shoulders are tense" the masseuse would spend 90% of the massage everywhere else and 10% on the shoulders. My Husband and I had an amazing experience at The Spa, located off of Mookaula Street in Honolulu. The spa itself is pretty small and simple, so don't expect saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, etc. Its located above a car detail shop so you can detail your car at the same time!!
