Booked a 12:30pm appointment Saturday, September 5th. Waited almost 20 minutes until someone finally interacted with me and told me to head upstairs. As a business they should honor a booking or at the very least apologize for the wait. I let the tech (Helen) know that I'm now kind of in a rush since they took me later than my appointment time. Im not sure if things were lost in translation, but she took many pauses to converse and laugh with her coworker throughout the appointment. Even if I weren't in a rush, that is very unprofessional. The main reason I'm writing this review is because of the end result. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think a gel x set should look a week old, right after getting them done. Helen placed the nails a significant amount away from my cuticles. She still put in the work, I still tipped her well for the services, but I was not impressed. I plan on giving this salon another chance because it was really great at first. I just hope they can be a little bit more cognizant about booking times and all their customers.

Neither service was terrible, but neither was anything to rave about either. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the behavior between the technicians. I have absolutely no problem with employees speaking their native language while working--I think that's completely normal. But one technician was talking to another, and the other one suddenly said, "shhhhh!" and then laughed while looking in our general direction. Maybe they weren't talking about us, but when you're sitting right there as a customer, it definitely makes you wonder. It came across as unprofessional and uncomfortable. I also noticed that the technicians looked completely different from the last time I was there. I'm wondering if there's been a change in management or staff because the overall experience felt different this time around. The services were *okay*, but between the mediocre results and the uncomfortable interaction, I left thinking, "I'll probably find somewhere else next time." Rossy has helped take care of my nails, does quality nail cleaning, and a great job with gel application. Her prices are very reasonable and her services, top notch. Nail services are by appointment only (text her, it's the best way to get in touch with her and schedule an appointment as she doesn't answer her phone if she's with a client). During your appointment you can expect dedicated time to you and only you. Care is taken and she never rushes. I've always found my visits very relaxing and I can focus on myself for the moment. There's a great selection of nail and gel polishes. I'm a huge fan of her selection of glitters, metallics, and nude colors. Sometimes I feel like matting and others, high gloss - Rossy has got it all. Parking can be a bit tough if your appointment is around 9a or 10-ish because of other businesses, so prepare in advance to get there early. I never leave bad reviews for businesses but my experience with the technician/co-owner, Creeland was too problematic to not say anything. I shared my first-hand experience and I stand by what I wrote and how I felt. First of all, I was not aware that the appointment was being recorded and I did not consent to being recorded. That's very concerning that a client's private session within a treatment room is recorded. I would expect a high level of privacy in closed room ESPECIALLY in a beauty salon where clients are getting various treatments done. Additionally before my appointment, I asked specifically if I could keep my contacts in and was told to remove it. Without my contacts, I can't see anything. So I'm not in a position to read or review anything posted at the door. I would think that a verbal consent would be done prior to being recorded. I also understand that clients may choose whether they want to chat during a service. That does not change the fact that the conversation I experienced included unsolicited and deeply uncomfortable topics and comments. I did not mind the conversation until it spiraled into something inappropriate. I'm not interested in debating my personal experience publicly. As a business owner in a predominantly women serving field, instead of dismissing a concern, maybe addressing what occurred should've been the first step. I would have appreciated a response that acknowledged my experience rather than simply disputing it and then trying to get my review removed.

From IG, I was taken to Indulge's website where I was able to book my appointment with one of their LMTs, Terry. She's been with Indulge since the beginning and I think that says a lot about the company, which actually seems more like family. Terry is phenomenal and wears multiple hats; she can even do your lashes! Don't wait until the last minute to book, though, she's in high demand, especially for her lymphatic massage.
