I've been getting eyelash extensions off and on for over 10 years and have gone to quite a few eyelash businesses, but Ansley is the best. She gives me the perfect hybrid look that I want. Lashes give me LIFE! Like seriously, they do. I have tiny, thin, barely recognizable lashes and am so jelly with those who have lashes that LOOK like extensions (hint hint bestie Diana S.) I used to get extensions religiously for... probably a decade. Then I had a kid. Then my hormones got all crazy and when I would get extensions after giving birth they would last a week... a week and a half if I was lucky. It was too expensive to upkeep so I stopped. I got an itch in the beginning of 2020 and got them done again, and found Ansley who was recommended by my daughter's Godmother. Buuuut then Covid took over the world and I went back to my boring natural lashes. In the meantime I tried falsies (I hate glue)... the "flick and stick" which I could never get to work correctly... and then magnetic lashes (which are easy!) but I'm just too lazy to draw the top liner... so when my daughter's Godmother posted this year she got her lashes done with Ansley (who is now waaaaay closer to where I live) I booked an appointment for the next day! Located in Harbor Center across Waimalu Shopping Center... she's located at the back along the water. Ample parking. Cute and cozy space. Comfy area to lay on... bring a blanket or jacket tho, it gets cold! I like how you literally don't feel a thing when she's doing your lashes. Her hands are like feathers... no tugging on your natural lashes, no pushing on your face... no rushing to put on the extensions. She takes her time and is meticulous! I didn't have any weird side effects or burning eyes (that I have had previously) and I was SO relaxed on my relash last week that I fell asleep!!! I've been getting the volume set/refills with her for the last year and at first I had no idea what to expect or what to ask for but Ansley did such an amazing job making me feel welcomed and knowing exactly what lashes to put on me. Specifically, she does a great job with her initial consultation in going over expectations and discussing lash length, volume, style and curve. I really love that I am able to get more volume to my lashes without them being overly dramatic in length or curve. Ansley remembers the look that I'm going for each time and always checks in to see if there is anything I want to change. Every appointment she cleanse my lashes before applying the new lashes, and she takes great care of my lashes making sure that they are not injured permanently with excessive weight/pressure.
