Very poor service. Did not provide products in timeline. Closed over the holidays without mentioning so on their site.

I ordered a ton of reciept books for my place of employment. It says right on the main page 5-7 days for processing. It took them 1.5 months to get me my order. Every week when asking where my order was, I would be met with "it'll be shipped on Monday" this went on for weeks until I demanded to cancel my order. All of a sudden it was shipped. I finally get it, and it is not the right size. I ordered receipt books 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches What they sent me was 8.5 inches by 11 inches. When I brought up that this was not what I had ordered, I get met with "well you approved the proofs we sent you" Which were the identical image I had sent them with absolutely no explanation on the sizing suddenly changing. My receipt reflects 5.5 by 8.5 they admit I ordered 5.5 by 8.5. This has been by far the worst printing experience we have had and going forward I absolutely will not be using them for our many printing needs. If you want to get the wrong order months after their quoted time frame then by all means this is the place to order from read more

Waited 6 days for a proof. Finally received proof after telling them to cancel order so I could order it from somewhere else that was more responsive who could deliver by the deadline given, and threatening to report as fraudulent to my credit card company to get my money back if they refused. Proof received within 10 minutes of saying this. Proof looked terrible with a white border all around the edges of the pages. When I rejected the proof, I was told that the booklet did not have enough bleed space and that going to another printer wouldn't fix my issue. Correspondence was condescending and rude. Never did get a return phone call despite multiple phone messages left for them. Now waiting on the refund that has "gone to the billing department for refunding" - this company screams SCAM and I no longer trust them! read more

Beware this is a fraudalent company. Almost a month later no updates and I can't get in touch with anyone. The last review I left got a response from the company filled with attitude. No remorse, no apologies just basically telling me it's my fault for not getting in contact with them. Please do your research before finding businesses on the web. Save yourself the headaches, loss of time, and frustration, and find another printing option. Here is my experience. I am a professional photographer who deals with many print shops for various items. Each year I print a calendar. This year I saw the ad for Canada Copy and decided to try a second printing of my calendar with them as the price was appealing and I always sell out so it would give a second option for clients. Right from the start I should have listened to the red flags. Firstly their online calendar builder was unusable. I wasted countless hours just trying to build my product to order. When I tried to contact no one ever answered the phone. After many calls and several messages eventually someone called me back days later. They informed me that this was common to just send the images in and that they would build the calendars for me. I wish they would just send you directly to this option if they are going to run a program that doesn't work. For clarification, I ordered the exact same calendar from another printer, and the entire process from building to receiving the product took less than 2 weeks. I needed these as quickly as possible as the market for selling calendars is in November. I started the process with Canada Copy in September so I thought I had lots of time, however, I was not into more than 3 weeks and over 10 hours of my personal time and still did not have a proof. Eventually, I finally received a proof to approve. At this point, I was starting to become skeptical of the company so I called customer service once again to ask what happens if I am not happy with the print job. I was very clear that I was a professional and that these were products for sale. She said, " Oh, don't worry at all. If you are not happy with the calendars just let us know and we will gladly give you your money back". She seemed convincing and pleasant so I went ahead with the order. I asked how long it would take to receive the product and she said 7 business days was their policy but that she would put a rush on my order as I had already been delayed so much trying to use their unusable calendar builder. I was happy with all of this so I waited, and waited, and waited. I called to see when the calendars would arrive and the tone was very different from when they were trying to get my money. Now that they had my money all they would say is, it is in production and there is no way to know when it would arrive. Weeks after I finally received notice that the calendars were being shipped. At this point, we were getting close to 2 months from my starting the process, but I thought I would get them just in time to begin sales. I had ordered two different calendars as I decided to try a different idea out with customers. When I opened the order, one of the calendars was fine, not great quality paper(very cheap), but acceptable. The other calendar was horrible and completely unusable. The colours were inconsistent, there was colour bleeding, and the image quality and resolution were poor. I thought to myself, that's ok, I'll keep the good ones and they can just refund me for the bad calendar. I contacted them to tell them about the printing issues and that I would just like a refund for the one calendar which was unusable. They asked for photos which I sent. I then got a response, "Our policy clearly states that we do not provide refunds." ???? I called and was clearly told that they would happily refund me if I wasn't happy with the print job and now this? They told me to ship the calendars back to them at my expense, they would then take a look at them, and if they deemed them unacceptable they would reprint them and send me another batch. This was totally unacceptable. It had already taken almost 2 months for a 2-week job to receive the first calendars, by the time they shipped me another copy it would be too late for me to sell them. Very dissapointing interaction over email. For a company which deals with paper, they do not know what a A0 paper size. I had to google it for them so they know what it is. I also mentioned that i just want 4 to 5 copies of the same pattern printed and they had to email me again if i wanted "one pattern or multiple". I just do not see any common sense in their interaction. Email took about 4 days and i had to just completely stop and just find a different company to print paper with. read more

I have no idea why other reviewers have found CanadaCopy lacking. Our experience was absolutely at the top. I needed to have 17 color copies of a 73-page student handbook printed and spiral-bound on the short edge. AND I needed it within a week, back in British Columbia, in time for our course on beekeeping. Yes, I paid for a 1-3 day printing service, and a phone call to their office indicated it would be tight getting the job done. But I am happy to say that the books arrived a full two days before I needed them, printed and bound perfectly. Not only that, but the price quoted was less than HALF what I would have had to pay for color photocopying, not includng binding. I'm not given to putting up reviews, although if I get horrible service I'll post that. But in this case, the folks at CanadaCopy met and exceeded every expectation I had. So, great job! read more

Don't be fooled by their website which says 2-4 days for production. That does not take into consideration their "design" time or shipping and they just ignore what you paid for quicker production and keep their own timeline. I ordered playing cards that required zero design. I notified them on the 3rd day to see if my very small order could be shipped and they just said no. I paid extra for the 2-4 day production time and my order was not completed until after 6 business days... then they shipped it out for the 1 day shipping which I also paid extra for. Needless to say, I was hoping to get the items within the 4 day timeline and that did not happen so I missed having the goods for the event I wanted them for. I wrote to their customer service regarding my overall poor experience on Aug 28th and they have not responded to my complaint. I do not recommend this company. read more

I am disappointed, I wanted to love my book so badly, they were so deeply meaning full to me. But they did not turn out how I hopped. The font is shrunken to such a small size, and the margins are huge. I have tried to reach out to costumer service a few times but I have had no resolution. I was just told it was my fault the formatting is wrong, although on my pdf everything looks correct. In summary, don't use Canada copies if your looking for professional printing, use staples. read more

BEWARE! Worst printing services, for standard shipping it takes 14 days to print a common and regular invoice. They don't call back, they don't answer the phone, and when you insist and they finally pick up they don't have an idea of the order number or the status of the order. Totally waste of time to do business with them. Talked to a rude lady named Cheryl, who told me that the only people that work are her and the owner "Darrel" who is of course not on site. Took 3 months to get my order for custom-printed envelopes. The company said nothing for some time and then offered numerous promises for delivery by a certain time but the order was continually delayed and I had to be proactive to finally get delivery by threatening to cancel my credit card payment. In the end, I was charged for full color and only the company printed my order in black and white. When asked for an adjustment to the price the company response was because it is printed on the same machine it's the same price, full color, and black and white are the same price. Everyone should know that then, get full color and see if there is an upcharge. read more

Terrible customer service. As soon as I submitted my order, I realized I missed something and contacted the company saying I needed to edit my cover page. Rarely did anyone answer the phone and when they did, they stated I had to email the printery. I emailed the customer support and did not receive replies for over 24 hours at a time. At first they stated my file was corrupted so I asked to cancel my order and get a refund... they then stated they would try to recover it... still not giving me solution on how to edit my cover page... after calling every hour for an entire day with no one answering the phone, the next day I finally got a customer service rep and very nicely told her I just needed to cancel my order... I thought this had happened but when I opened my email, she send me a message saying they had retrieved my file and did I still want to proceed with the order, offering me no advice on how to make edits to my cover page... I replied, no, please cancel my order and issue a refund. I clicked on the link that would show my calendar and it was not mine!! It has now been nine days and I have not received a refund to my Visa. read more

Absolutely horrible. If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. I made a large order for 12 booklets late last year, not only did the order take almost a 1.5 months to get here when they had told me 2 weeks, when I tried contacting them they would tell me they would call me back with an update that same day, I tried this 3 times and never got an answer, or the answer was they are scheduled to be shipped out the next day and that never happened, 3 times. Along with horrible communication, when I received my books, they were completely wrong. They were considerate enough to reprint them free of charge of course, and when I got the second set of books (again waiting almost a month) these books were also completely wrong! (both sets of books had multiple missing pages & wrong size). After this I tried contacting them again, at this point I just wanted a refund. They did not answer any of my calls or email, they basically ghosted me. I eventually had to go through my banks fraud department to get my money back. This was an awful experience, this company is quite literally crap and needs to get their shit together. I highly recommend spending the extra money on a quality printing company. read more

I ordered one book. Its only been two weeks and I've had an unpleasant email exchange with an employee, after charging the initial amount they then asked for $15 more for a proof I didn't order. I honestly don't expect to see my book given the state of most of the reviews I've seen. Some folks have been ripped off by them for thousands of dollars and it really looks like this company is steamrolling towards a class action lawsuit. Order from literally anyone else. I ordered 25 Photo Calendars, they took a bit longer then expected even with some delays which where completely my fault but given all the supply chain issues its completely understandable. The calendars come out amazingly well and my Beautiful Canadian Landscape photos looked almost as good as they do on photo paper from the pro lab. read more

I ordered 1000 3 page non carbon invoices. I normally get my printing done locally, but my regular printer was backed way up with orders and could not get to mine. Every business around here is pretty short staffed etc. Anyways I just received my order this week within two days of it getting finished and shipped. The order was perfect and I got well over twice the invoices for the same price I would have paid local (and they are the most cost effective locally). I am really quite pleased. They did overshoot their completion date by a couple of days, but I figured I would just hold out and hope they came through for me and they really did. It was no big deal for me since I wasted 3 weeks with my local printer who was stringing me along. Anyways the savings was WELL worth the couple of extra days. It was an easy process to place my order too. I will definitely purchase from them again. read more

The worst service ever - ordered 500 books in 2019, and am still owed 160 books - went to the BBB, who had no luck with them either, so now I am going through the Ontario Consumers Association. Spent over $3,000 with this company, they promise to send the books, then never do. I left a bad review on their website, but now can't find it - only the good reviews stay I guess. Absolute crooks, and if you check Google Earth, you can see they operate out of a dump of a building. I will continue to leave a bad review where ever I can, until I get my issue resolved. They have ripped off a non profit organization, and should be ashamed of themselves. Do not be fooled by the cheap prices, and if you do order -count your items as soon as you get them, as they do not send the right amount, and we didn't notice right away. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. When my order was over a week late, I called and emailed to find out what the hold-up was. I got a prompt email reply. (This company won't call you ever.) They told me the order had been shipped that morning. Yet when I looked up my order online, it said PROCESSING. So, that was a lie. The next day, it said COMPLETE. So this was obviously a case where they didn't even start printing my order until I called to check on it. I told them I would now receive the postcards too late to promote the event and I would like a refund instead of the product. No answer, despite multiple requests. You may be drawn in by the low prices this company offers, but believe me, the headaches caused from lack of delivery and poor customer service will not make it worth your while to deal with this company. read more

I have experienced nothing but frustration at this company's exceeding low customer service standards. I placed an order for door hangers that almost two weeks later, they still could not commit to a delivery date for it, (calls which I thankfully recorded) . Accepting to modify the product to rack cards in order to get it in a timely fashion, which thankfully they finally did deliver. This company then took to blaming me for changing the order rather than wait "two more days" ( our last recorded call had the person say they might be able to tell me an ETA within 5-7 additional days!) it has been an almost two month journey in attempting to recover the difference in price between the product ordered and what was actually delivered by this company. First it took a number of attempts and weeks to finally get them to create a "credit" for the difference in price and issue me the needed paperwork as this was for an election. Its now been over 45 days since the "up to 30 days to be posted on your card" credit was supposed to arrive. Inquiries as to what is happening are responded with " I will look into it", but of course, 6 days after the latest inquiry , still no response. Avoid this company at all cost. read more

If you are reading this review, I assume that it's because you are thinking of doing business with CanadaCopy, please don't. On the bright side they tend to reply to bad reviews faster than they do your emails. Prior to placing my order I contacted their customer service (all communication I ever had with CanadaCopy was with Darryl). I asked to make sure BEFORE placing my order that it could meet my deadline that was 10 days. Darryl said that it would be no problem at all and I placed my order for 100 calendars totaling $529.31 that same evening on November 26th. (Note, the website says that production time was 3 to 4 days). They missed that deadline, I SHOULD OF ASKED FOR A REFUND RIGHT AWAY. But I still wanted the calendars and I was willing to wait a few more days for them. Since they had not even started to work on the calendars I was able to ask for some modifications, I wanted the months titles to be translated, again Darryl said it would be no problem (like always to anything I asked). I provided the correct translation twice, they never confirmed receiving them. I ended up receiving the calendars, 17 DAYS LATE and they had a mistranslation, I notified Darryl right away and he agreed to a reprint, I was still willing to wait. I was really frustrated but we really wanted the calendars. This was on December 21st. After waiting another month, on January 21st I finally demanded a refund. I sent them countless emails and I was just done, it had been two months, I had no means for the calendars anymore. I felt cheated and disrespected, I would of rather had the truth rather than Darryl's ''can do'' attitude that amounted to nothing because every time he said it was being done or that it was no problem, it was a like. I sent Darryl a long email and all he replied was ''The problem is that we already printed the calendars''. No apologies, no explanations, nothing. And to me that was completely unacceptable. I wrote a bad review and then Darryl finally promptly contact me and agreed to provide a refund given that I would erase the review. I agreed to do so AFTER receiving the refund, it's been 48 DAYS since that. (The website says that the maximum wait time for the refund is 30 days, which is already a pretty ridiculous timeline) And clearly CanadaCopy has a problem respecting deadlines. I sent Darryl about 10 emails so far asking about the refund and every time he says that it should had been done and that ''he'll look into it''. But NOTHING happens. I have never written a bad review about anything in my life before. I just want this nightmare to be over. It's ridiculous that a Canadian corporation would STEAL from its client like that. It's been over 100 DAYS and I still have NOTHING. Seriously, do business with ANYONE but CanadaCopy, I can't say it enough. read more
