If you are looking for a place to board your horse, look elsewhere. Your horse deserves better. Water tubs are filled a couple times a week and are never cleaned. You'll want to learn the phrase "algae sauce" because barn manager insists that Algae Sauce "is normal and that horses love it!" Coincidently, Algae Sauce also hides dead rat I found in my horses water. When I notified management about the second rat, found in horses hay, Kristy called me nasty names in what one can only hope was an alcohol induced rant. She, straight sober, tried to convince me that my pasture horse would thrive without fresh water, with two flakes of cheap hay, provided at random times on most days. Many many times, I would find that they had not fed or only provided a fraction of the portions that were promised. Pasture horses are expected to fight the herd stallion (Krusty's retired horse) for access to water. At one point, I found the tap to the water trough had come apart. Management promised it would be repaired the next day. Four days later, I checked the trough. It was DRY. It had not been fixed. It was 98-100 degrees for those days. My young horse had NO water for at least two of those days. Another horse died from colic three days later. Yes, the ranch is pretty and yes they have a covered arena. But, if they can't deliver fresh water and food, what's the point? Boarders are subjected to price gouging (+$200, monthly for 1cube/week of bedding and you must "subscribe" for a minimum of 6 months) to make up for manager's bad business practices. DO NOT MOVE YOUR HORSE HERE!!! The manager has no clue about the pasture - trash all over (I was constantly picking up thrown trash) and look at the water the horses were given to drink. It is disgusting. Full of algae They never clean it. One of the Ferrier's couldn't take it and took it upon herself to clean the huge water bin. It took her an hour and she got reprimanded for it instead of a thank you so she only cleaned one. The alpha in the pasture is not accustomed to pasture life and will kill any horse that is a threat. I watched him mount four times in front of me. That mare was badly hurt to where the vet was called. Upon reporting this the manager Kristi Troyna simply texted back 'thank you'. Then she attempted to, in her macheavillian manner, push me out and leave. Threatening email and several texts on file. The harassment was never ending. Kristi should not be in charge any more than her horse should be in a pasture with other horses. I was there and saw too much. They underfeed and what hay I did see every so often, was floor hay, dusty and inedible. I eventually left, needless to say I didn't get a deposit back nor did she prorate my departure. I had to call for police escort, yes she is that nasty. Always yelling at people and complaining about people discussing the inept and disastrous manner in which it runs the ranch. Her reason for not wanting me there was ' not a good fit'. I saw too much. Everyone one there is terrified of her appalling behavior. I might add that the boarding and pasture clients were all lovely. All of them. It was a pleasure to have met them. read more

Truthfully, we just wanted to see where the road goes. We drove to the end and found this private ranch. I know nothing about it. I am giving it 4 stars because it looks awesome & satisfies my curiosity. Maybe not my hubby's. There is no wi-fi coverage here. Hubby thought we would stumble on a big compound, off the grid, where lots of cars are. He has heard of it and is very curious. He said it's secret. Lucky for him, the X Files has just returned to TV. Perhaps that show will somewhat satisfy his need to know that ... "The truth is out there." read more

Just moved my horse her a month ago and it's a really nice facility. There are so many turn outs and arenas available. His stall is really nice with DG so will hold up good in the winter. The people cleaning and feeding have been doing a great job. We really love it there and the atmosphere is really nice. read more

Was going to board here, but the management never followed up with me, even after I contacted for the boarding agreement paperwork- also, I had to leave several voicemails to beg to get on a waiting list to even get into ranch- thankfully, I apparently dodged a bucket, because I have not heard the best things about mgmt, also didn't like that you are only allowed to purchase shavings from faculty, it's a shame because it's a beautiful beautiful place, with that looks like endless amazing trails! I boarded there for about 2 years in 2013-2015. The facilities and the grounds were beautiful, good trails and wonderful arenas to ride in. The barn manager at the time was not the nicest...by any means. I know they have someone new now so it might be better. Why we left? So right before Xmas the owner's decided to raise everyone's board a bit. Okay, I thought. Business is business, no problem. Some people of course were upset- as cash is tight around Christmas- and complained to the owner. This led to a VERY rude mass email from the owner basically stating that if you don't like it, you know where the door is. Frankly, that's super shitty, for obvious reasons that go beyond bad business. The snarky manager combined with the rude owner was enough for us to put our money elsewhere. It gets 2 stars based on the worker Poncho who always looked out for the horses; he's the best. read more

This is a beautiful facility in a great location....lots of space. It seems like a lot of the reviews here are based on old information as it seems the new barn manager, Kristi, is extremely organized and runs a very tight ship. All the boarders I met with here on my visit last weekend were very gracious and they all spoke about how happy they were here. While I haven't made a final decision about where to place my horse when we move soon, this place is definitely on my short list....it is a lot better maintained and it seems to have much stronger sense of community than several of the other places that I have checked out in the area. read more

I am not a boarder there yet but just wanted to let my fellow equine-enthusiasts know that this place is IMMACULATE! Kristin gave me a tour of the place and I really appreciated how organized and tidy everything was. The two indoor arenas are wonderful for our Southern California weather - try to keep the sun exposure to a minimum! They explained their policies and were amazingly open about what I intend to do once I buy my first horse. For the price and proximity this place is great! They even have a dressage trainer on premises which is my discipline of choice. read more

Nice facility, super nice boarders! Horses are well fed, stalls and paddocks mucked every day. The covered arena is a big plus on hot days. Decent access to a few trails. The paddocks are on the public road. Very pricy! read more

Not exactly sure where Leslie M. is talking about, but it certainly isn't this place. Boarding facilities are immaculate and all horses are well cared for. It shows!. Kristi, the barn manager, is incredibly knoweledgable and experienced. We trust her with every equine questions or issue we come across. Kids don't run "amuck" in the arena...they're kids...learning...in Pony Club! Geesh! The only water that is unsanitary to drink is clearly posted and that is only because it comes straight from the aquafur, untreated. Take the time to check this place out for yourself. It's a hidden gem...and so is Kristi! read more
