Canada Goose, I love your jackets! They are located inside the Prudential Center, in Back Bay & is currently still the only location they have in MA. I got my first Canada Goose jacket from here in 2015, almost a decade ago, and I still wear it! It is the trillium fusion fit (petite) parka in black & yes, the color is slightly faded, but that is kind of inevitable for a 9, almost 10 year old jacket. Over the years, I have gotten more jackets & even beanies. They keep me super warm and get me through the cold winters, for sure. The price of the jackets may seem a bit steep BUT trust me, they'll keep you warm in below zero temp. A jacket that keeps you warm in New England winter weather, is worth every penny! read more

The experience was top tier. We had gone to Nordstroms and other authorized retailers and they just tried to sell us whatever was in the store. Size was not an issue. At the Canada Goose store we had a sales associate who continued to radio to the back where jackets were brought out to try and make our final decisions. This is where the issues surfaced and although it is not directly related to the store it is very much a representation of the company. We ordered two jackets for shipping to our home in NH to (1) avoid the taxes in MA and (2) to get exactly what we wanted since size/color combo was not available in store. As you can see from the picture one of the jackets was received in a very destroyed box. The damage actually penetrated two boxes and the jacket is not protected at this points. Called up the customer service phone number and spoke to two different off shore representatives. They said the only thing to do was send the jacket back to them. 3-5 days transit and than and then I would get a credit to my card within two weeks. At that time or anytime in between I could place a new order for the jacket assuming it was I stock. WHAT?!?! I decided to call the Boston store and left a voice mail which is option 5, talk to someone in store. They didn't call back after a few hours on a Wednesday which is odd so I called back. Spoke to a manager and he told me her could put one on the side with the box. Etc if I was willing to come to Boston from New Hampshire to do an EVEN EXCHANGE. I made the trip the following day and the process was chaotic at best. They wanted to charge me the sales taxes since I was "rebuying" the same jacket in store. Otherwise they could reorder for it to be shipped to my house. WHAT?!?! After over 30 minutes they got the transaction to zero out and that was a relief. Asked them to validate the Prudential Center garage and they said they did. Went to leave and it charged me $14 plus time and effort to fix THEIR SHIPPERS MISTAKE and THEIR RIDICULOUS AND POORLY PLANNED replacement for damaged goods. I emailed the store and a few days later got this as the reply. Thank you so much for this less than I care about you as a customer response: Hello We apologise for the bad experience you had at the Prudential Center location. Unfortunately, our registers are unable to override sales tax due to it being a state law. The only was it voids is if you process an OMNI order which they did for you. I am going to assume the manager on duty was able to adjust the pay so that it came out to an even exchange for you without having to ship. I apologize on the shipping end unfortunately we have no control of how they deliver the boxes for you VIA UPS I wish there was a way to fix that issue for you. As for the parking our mall has a flat rate of $14 to park your car under 2 hours in the mall. Therefore, there was no discount taken at the time you left the building, due to that being the lowest price you can pay. Rather, the sales people were just chatting amongst themselves. Came on Friday, and now it's a 2 hour wait just to get into the store because "they are busy". This is the first time I've been to an actual Canada goose store. I've only visited them online in the past. It's nice having the option to actually try to cosign. I also found it interesting that they actually have a cold room in which they set the temperature so that you can actually see how cool or warm you are in their jackets. I found a really cute vest but in the store it is way more expensive than this online. I did not end up buying the vest, But the sales associate was very helpful and giving me the options and explaining to me the different choices and colors that they come in. I plan on buying the best online now that I know how the sizing works. read more

My worst ever shopping experience! On Feb 4, I brought my daughter to Canada Goose Boston Store and spent over $1200 to buy her the thickest coat in the store. As there was no silver-birch color in the store, the shop assistant said that they could arrange the delivery to my daughter's boarding school and it would arrive just within several days! Yet up to now a month passed, and the coat never arrived! In fact after a week we already contacted them but they said that there was delay and asked us to wait a little bit longer. 2 weeks later when we called they finally started to check with their UPS order. It took another two days for their UPS partner finally started investigation on Feb 22. I called several times to request for another coat to be arranged to deliver to the Boston store so that I can go to pick up to deliver to my daughter, but nobody offered any help, and they just continued saying that it was under investigation and they could only provide me with any solution after investigation done. I requested to reach their customer service manager to solve but Tagiann(CS lady) said that I would get the same reply and just let me wait online for long for nothing! It is already Mar, and I do expect that when the issue gets solved it is already spring and my daughter doesn't need a thick coat any more!!! Besides, I paid the money, but I was supposed to get the coat from Canada Goose. Any investigation between Canada Goose and UPS has nothing to do with the customer because the coat was never delivered out per the UPS tracking. Paid $1287.61 for nothing. It is now Mar 4, one month passed, but I got nothing from Canada Goose. Legally I only have trade relationship with Canada Goose. But the customer wanted me to contact the UPS. That's ridiculous! The business relationship is between Canada Goose and the UPS! I am not the one that placed the order to ask the UPS to deliver! Any loss needs to be solved between Canada Goose and the UPS! No one ever helped from Customer service! And no manager called back even they promised to call back within 24 hours! No solution at all! Is this what Canada Goose represents??? Went to the store in the Prudential Center to look for a coat for my daughter. We worked with Akeem who was the most accommodating warm sales associate in there. He talked us through what the coat can do to protect a California kid living in Boston. He was extremely knowledgeable and he looked for everything we asked for. Informed us about size shape and fit. We ended up getting a thermal hat black on black. We had to wait for about ten minutes in line and we spoke to Readi who was also very nice and provided excellent customer service before you even entered into the store. Please be aware that Kensington Parka Canadian goose is considered typical wear and tear and is not covered by the warranty department. Even though they announced the goose is lifetime warranty it's not. If you're wealthy is okay to buy it. It's just about the name. It never kept me warm and it's fake. CANVA I just learnt that . After cleaning my Kensington Patka for the very first time after wearing for about 1 year it was faded and warranty department changed considered it wear and tear.I repeat only but Canadian goose if you're wealthy or you just want the name. I love the coats, but I could never recommend them to anyone and I regret my purchase because of the company's terrible customer service. Within about a month my coat developed a small tear in an odd location. Dropping it off for repair at the store was fine; the clerk was nice and said it looked like a weird issue he had never seen before and he was sure that they would replace the jacket for free. It took over a month before they even looked at my jacket, and they wrote it was out of warranty and they wouldn't do anything to it. For some reason they decided to replace the fur on my coat, even though I was happy with what I had. I appealed the decision asking for a repair and they said that for $40 they'd stitch it back up but it wouldn't look very good. At that point I needed a functional coat so I gave in. It took forever to get it back. When they returned my jacket, it was in a very cheap garment bag with a plastic hangar, when I sent it out in the very nice garment bag I purchased it with, and a nice hangar. I contacted them and they refused to send me back the nice versions of what I sent out, saying they were probably trashed. I felt disrespected by the company; I just shelled out $1000+ for a coat that quickly developed an issue, and their response was to charge me for an ugly repair and take the items I sent it with. read more

I came into the store expecting a premium experience and determined to buy a Goose jacket. Upon entering I was not greeted and quickly noticed jackets scattered everywhere; on the tables, on the floor, and parts of the store where they did not belong. I've bought the brand a few times for my family when travels are to extreme locations and your reviews confirm that my business and purchases will remain with Nordstrom's at any location. Personally I require top quality for specific needs, like when your life may depend on what fashion you're sporting @ -50 F. So I'll drop what ever cash is necessary, BUT I expect and demand customer service to outperform my purchases. Example- if I'm buying an expedition series parka and other compatible items then I would expect my salesman to be experienced enough to offer up suggestions for compatible footwear (Baffin or similar) & other gear that may be needed, etc. Sounds like this store is not like that. If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered my daughter a sweater for Christmas, the sweater was not to the quality one might expect for a 350 dollar sweater and it didn't fit. We thought this would be not big deal, sent it back in a timely manner (two days after christmas, and it only took two days because their website would not process the return for those two days). As of today they have had that package for 45+ days ( we confirmed this with the business), we have contacted them a total of 8 times, with no resolution or answers as to when we can expect a return. The fit didn't work for me so I wanted to try on some options in store and have the return handled at the same time. Figured mid-summer was a great time to check out the assortment of coats without the hassle of standing in queues outside which is normal for the fall and winter at the Boston Copley store. Came in a week ago and met with Charlie who helped my wife decide on the fit, style and size that she wanted. Charlie was SUPER patient as my wife switched between models, sizes and patches (red vs. black). We decided to come back on MA tax free weekend. Went into store again at Copley over last weekend and connected with Charlie again. Wife went through the entire decision making process yet again....SIGH. Originally was planning to purchase on Mass Tax Free weekend, but the hassle of getting the order in, pickup, availability of specific model was worth the $50 extra in eliminating all the timing and hassles wasn't worth the $50 on a coat that costs $1000. In love with this brand and everything they put out was super excited to walk in and check out new pieces. I was very uncomfortable with the fact that a male sales associate after greeting us continued to talk to us more about himself rather than let us look and was very zoned in on my child. I could not check out the pieces on my own because I was bombarded by many questions most of which were about my child. I went today with my boyfriend and experienced wonderful customer service! There was no line when I went (which differed from the reviews I've read about this store). It was really packed but right when I entered, an employee greeted me and asked if I needed help with anything. I browsed some parkas and needed help finding my size. It was a bit annoying with trying to look at coats with so many people clumping in certain areas of the store but patience is key. An employee was super friendly, approachable, and helpful in helping me find my ideal size/color/type of coat. Checkout was smooth (there was no wait). Overall, I would come back to shop again despite the hectic environment. I give only 4 stars because everything I originally wanted was sold out which was a total bummer! This store sucks. Bottom line. I bought a couple of pairs of gloves as a gift and was returning the pair that ended up not fitting. I made my way into the store and was stopped by a "club bouncer wannabe" who made me wait in a line to get into the store. At the time, I was third in line. Eventually, I stated all I wanted to do was return something, and he said "well I didn't know, you didn't have a bag" and let me in. I actually did have two bags - but what difference does it make if you can see my purchase or not? You didn't bother asking and just ushered me into a line. The few minutes I did stand in line, at least 5-10 people left the store. Even though people left, they did not let in anyone standing in line. When I went inside the store, the store wasn't even close to capacity. Just a crappy marketing tactic on the part of the company trying to create some illusion of product demand. Later I walked by and there were at least 20-30 people in line. Really? For a stupid overpriced coat? If you're absolutely set on getting a Canada Goose, just go to Saks Fifth Avenue just a few stores down, where they sell them. da goose makes a superb jacket, their warranty is bullshit. They had me clean my jacket and send it back to them and then claimed that the warranty didn't apply because I had had an accident. I didn't have an accident. They didn't even ask me about the accident. It was normal wear and tear and it o had the jacket for two years and worn it sporadically. It is supposed to be a lifetime warranty. They then claim that they have none of the right color to match the fabric to fix the jacket. Bought a Chateau Parka from them. I did not check every part of the jacket for defective at the store because what could go wrong with a 1k price tag jacket right? Wrong. The inner pocket zipper stuck and can't be un-zip. The jacket doesn't have any tags (price tag and product description tag) attached to it. Could be a floor model or returned used item? Went to the Prudential store while I was traveling in Boston the night before heading back to California and noticed the security tag on my sweater. The in-store experience was okay, however customer service was a sh*t show. I spent hours on the phone just trying to reach a representative that told me the only way to deal with this is to bring it in store to a Canada goose store (during the pandemic) and they would not provide me any sort of shipping label or refund. They didn't seem to care at all that they left me with an unwearable garnet and couldn't extend my return policy time (14 days). On top of that there was no way to contact the store as the phone number provided online is disconnected. I even tried calling another store to see if they could transfer me and they didn't seem to be able to contact them. They ultimately suggested that I drive to the nearest location which was about 4 hours from me to get the security tag removed. Customer service representative was inexperienced and didn't know the answer to any of my questions (it was her first day) so she kept having to put me on hold or call me back every 10 minutes after she searched for an answer. Pretty bad experience over an overpriced sweater. I bought one item so I am surprised how an employee could forget to remove the tag. I ended up having to ship the product back to a friend to have them return it for me. read more

Attempted to go here to drop $1,500 on a coat. What a complete waste of time. They only allow about ten customers in the store at a time. Everybody else is made to wait outside as a way to artificially increase the perception of demand when other customers see a line formed.
