It's the most ridiculous thing ever considering that they DO have a receptionist. They absolutely never ever return any voicemail. I saw Dr. Sue during most of my pregnancy. She is a very compassionate professional but I somehow felt less cared for than at Riley maternity clinic. She was also supposed to call to check on me after the delivery and never did. I know they get very busy but unsure why they would tell you that if they simply don't call. That clinic sounds a little like a walk-in clinic where they are very professional when you are there but forget about you the moment you leave the clinic. They also tell you that you can call or send them an email with any question you may have but won't ever pick up or respond to emails... I'll say go with Riley's instead.

Unfortunately this place turned out to be a major disappointment and I cannot stress enough to…read moreother would-be customers to steer clear of here. 1) record keeping You would think any kind of healthcare facility, be it a physicians office or a massage therapy place, would have a professional obligation to maintain accurate records of what is done at each appointment. That is not the case here. They have noted that I had multiple physio appointments but no notes or record of what exercises or plan they had done. Essentially, at each follow-up it was like a whole new visit with many "what did we recommend last time?" Pathetic. 2) customer service Imagine trying to get a progress note sent to your physician. It's like pulling teeth. They promise that they will get it done promptly, many weeks later you're still waiting and after calling to inquire you're met by an abrasive and dismissive admin assistant who says no note to that effect was on the chart (see point 1). Incompetence runs very high in this place. 3) questionable billing Check your credit card statement. I have a few charges above and beyond what was agreed that "magically appeared" on my statement...these are currently in the process of being investigated by my credit card company and hopefully a chargeback will ensue. Bottom line is, there are far better and more ethical places to find in the city for physio and other allied health professionals. I, unfortunately, looked for the cheapest place and essentially got what I paid for -- a shit experience. Stay away.

Every hallway is punctuated with comfortable seating and the main visiting/relaxation area has a distinct Mad Men sort of vibe. The parking IS fairly expensive and I would take a star off but I am learning MOST parking lot prices in Calgary are equivalent to a small car payment... annnnnnnd multiple time frames are offered. You must use a credit card or have exact change. The building is well marked and has many services ranging from Rheumatology and Pain Clinics to a Grief Support Program. There is an aptly named Point of View Cafeteria that overlooks Calgary beautifully. I haven't had a chance to sample the menu but it is a peaceful spot to study or take a break.

I was happy to see they had a location just two blocks from my office. No appointment needed! I was a little worried that the no appointment part would mean I'd have to wait in a room full of cranky people for an hour but that wasn't the case I was in and out of there, including check-in, waiting room, changing into gown, x-rays and changing back into my clothes in under 10 minutes. Wow. Getting a meal from any vendor at the food court around the corner would have been longer. From the front desk to the lady who gave the changing instructions to the X Ray tech, everyone was super friendly, fast and professional. The tech gave very clear instructions on how I needed to position myself and was very polite in making any adjustments. They actually all seemed really happy to be there. You know the stressed out feeling a lot of medical places have? Not here! I don't really plan on needing any other X-rays in the near future but if I did, or if I needed any other tests they offer, I think I'd try this location again.

There wasn't much of a wait, maybe two or three people ahead of me and the waiting room in comfortable and clean. What turned me off however was the receptionist, I found her standoffish and curt. The lab technician however was very nice, and my bilateral knee and knee stress X-rays were done professional, with much care and I was out of there in a flash. When I returned months later to get reimbursed for the work done here, the same receptionist forwarded me to their head office. She however was still as cold as fish so I assuming it is her disposition, but it doesn't make for a pleasant visit at this laboratory.

I booked my appointment online one week ago for this Saturday (2 days away) - it wasn't until 2 days before the appointment that their online booking system allowed me to book, that i received a phone call that the doctor I booked in with is on maternity leave.
