Continued treatment of lower back pain over many years by one of their physiotherapists has been excellent and had given me many years of continued mobility allowing me to travel world wide up to 5 trips per year. Referral for X-ray, ultra-sound imaging has helped my spinal specialist to continue further treatment including MIR diagnosis and spinal injections. I was referred to the specialist by the clinic's PT. Parking at time is iffy but come a bit early and you will find free parking. read more

Unfortunately this place turned out to be a major disappointment and I cannot stress enough to other would-be customers to steer clear of here. 1) record keeping You would think any kind of healthcare facility, be it a physicians office or a massage therapy place, would have a professional obligation to maintain accurate records of what is done at each appointment. That is not the case here. They have noted that I had multiple physio appointments but no notes or record of what exercises or plan they had done. Essentially, at each follow-up it was like a whole new visit with many "what did we recommend last time?" Pathetic. 2) customer service Imagine trying to get a progress note sent to your physician. It's like pulling teeth. They promise that they will get it done promptly, many weeks later you're still waiting and after calling to inquire you're met by an abrasive and dismissive admin assistant who says no note to that effect was on the chart (see point 1). Incompetence runs very high in this place. 3) questionable billing Check your credit card statement. I have a few charges above and beyond what was agreed that "magically appeared" on my statement...these are currently in the process of being investigated by my credit card company and hopefully a chargeback will ensue. Bottom line is, there are far better and more ethical places to find in the city for physio and other allied health professionals. I, unfortunately, looked for the cheapest place and essentially got what I paid for -- a shit experience. Stay away. read more

Came here for physio because they are cheaper than all the other physio places in the city. Definitely a mistake and waste of my insurance coverage. The two receptionists are the rudest I've ever experienced anywhere - they honestly act like they could care less! If there was information that the front desk should have known, they didn't and even told me to go back and ask my physiotherapist for the information as if I were a messenger or something. They also start charging you for everything while you're getting treated because I've had an incident where I'd finish and get ready to go to the front only to get a rude remark about reaching the maximum for insurance coverage, having the bill shoved in my face, and treating me as if I couldn't pay otherwise. Barely any patient to physiotherapist time is given, it's mostly hooking you up to one machine after another while leaving you completely alone. I didn't feel like my progress and concerns were being followed as I hardly got a chance to talk to her. Horrible experience, glad I found another place that is so much better. read more

This facility is outstanding, from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a warm front desk gal, who had me fill out the needed paperwork, which contained everything that was needed for my service. The practitioner came and greeted me and ensured they had the proper information for my treatment. The treatment itself was delivered with care and confidence. They even gave me an at home regime I could manage! They walked me out and it was such an ease to deal with payment you could tell they were fully capable in their position. After my knee injury and surgery, I've tried 3 different physiotherapists and Henry Chan has by far been the best one. I have come to really appreciate people who are really great at what they do and recognize that when it comes to health and quality of life, you have to pick and choose and ensure you have the right practitioner. He is excellent at what he does and I cannot recommend him enough. Henry is incredibly personable, which honestly makes a difference in terms of enjoying the sessions. This also helps put you at ease as he "brings the pain". (only to what I am willing to handle, of course) This is probably the best part of our sessions. He is not afraid to really "get in there" and manually work the muscles. I have had other physios just hook me up to machines or spend the whole time explaining exercises for me to do at home. Honestly, I can Google that. He does provide good exercises and a homework list of things to do, but during our sessions, he actually spends the time with me and when I walk out, I can actually feel the difference. He's used many different techniques on me, including needling which worked incredibly well. If you are looking for a great physiotherapist, or have had some mediocre experiences and aren't sure if physio is worthwhile, give Henry a try. You won't be disappointed. Also a plus, the office staff are super friendly. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience there. read more
