Plenty of companies I contacted weren't even interested in the job as it was "too small" (it was about 35 sq ft of drywall, 15 feet across and 2-3 feet deep in parts and pieces) or they quoted me over 1000 dollars for repair. Ezra came in and did the whole piece, including insulation, drywall, AND painting, all of which were excellent, for an incredibly fair price, honestly almost 50% below what other contractors were quoting. I was in the process of selling my home when I unexpectedly ended up with three huge holes cut into my basement ceiling (due to some last minute plumbing work requested by the Buyers). On a Friday, with the closing scheduled for Monday morning, Michael and his guys patched the holes and painted them with leftover paint I had. Unfortunately, the paint I gave them was not a good match at all. In addition, the upstairs AC quit working at the same time and it was hot as Hades up there! Although Michael doesn't generally work on weekends, he came out the next day, on a Saturday, and he brought along his HVAC man. The two of them got everything fixed. The ceiling looked like new and the AC was working great by the time the two of them left. I was the last to leave. At the exact moment I was backing down the driveway, the Buyers showed up to do their final walkthrough! (Talk about cutting it close!) Anyway, apparently, they were happy with everything they saw because the closing went off without a hitch the following Monday morning. I plan to use MCO Professionals for future work. I was very pleased with the quality of the jobs that were done; the price was the best of all the estimates I received; and Michael is very personable and easy to work with.

He was supposed to have a crew working but it was only him. He would show up at 10:30 or 11:00am and only work until 2:30 or 3:00 and take an hour lunch. We had a minor issue with one of the contractors drinking beer while on the job, and we only found out because he left the beer can in the basement. I immediately contacted Bobby Hayes, and he took care of it. Fast forward to 2025, we had a leak in the basement bathroom that they installed. When we went to repair it, we discovered from another contractor that the plumbing had not been done up to code. We called Mister Ladder, and they informed us that Bobby was no longer with the company, so I needed to contact him directly, which I did. He said he would send a plumber to our house to fix the issue, but I haven't heard anything since. I have tried to call him several times, leaving messages, and he is nonresponsive. I called back to Mister Ladder, and they said that they were never contracted to install the plumbing, only install the items for the bathroom. They were contracted to install a sump pump and ejector pump, but the installation was done incorrectly. They are not assisting with getting this resolved, and the integrity I thought this company had was all smoke and mirrors.

However, the rate that i was charged at $180/hr for each person to put together 3 beds was ridiculous. This was not transparent in their quote. I was under the impression that would be $180 for both ($90/hr) which is still expensive but doable. $180/hr per person is more than a Union Contractor makes in NYC. The Handymen were just there to build 3 beds! The price was insane and i will NEVER use them again. If you wish to use them, please make sure they provide you with a detailed breakdown of the costs (not just a per hour quote) so you are not surprised like i was.

I've had the Nichiha rep to my house confirming the work is not done according to manufactures guidelines with the owner of the company present. I paid for licensed home inspector. They are unbiased. The inspector said it was the worst he'd ever seen and the report is a gazillion pages. I called my insurance and they sent an adjuster out. He shook his head and said its the worst he'd ever seen. My denied insurance claim states that the work is defective and construction defects arent covered.It also states that water damage is inevitable. Meaning there are no reasonable steps I can take to protect my house My insurance (Amica)refused to give me the adjusters report(not legal dont let them). BUT, they offered to send out a structural engineer to check it out and give me a report. PE (structural engineer) stated the work(starting with the wrap underlayment) does not meet the minimum requirements for wall coverings violating international residential building code. Trustdale saw the video of the rep telling Armando he didnit wrong. -I gave them copies of the install manual I marked up with pictures of the defective work. -They had a representative come to my house with another siding guy and and the owner of siding depot(owners third visit)! -Trustdales siding guy stayed after they left and is the third professional to tell me its the worst hes ever seen. -Trustdales stance differs from that of Nichihas product rep and install manual. It differs from the report written by an impartial home inspector. It differs from the report from the Structural Engineer. It is apparently more valid than the international code book. -It was Trust Dale who first presented me with the official offer of nondisclosure. They then said the resolution was to let these people on my property who already REFUSED to remove the defective work come patch it up IF i paid them first! They are the ones who decide if they have honored the "10,000 dollar trustdale warranty" When I told them that was unacceptable they tried to say i didnt register the purchase with them. I WAS MID PURCHASE when I contacted them. Yup, thats right. TrustDale tried to squirm out of their side by claiming i contacted them too soon. (Or too late depending on the day) I also could've gone through their website before. Off I go across the internet to cost these jerks 10x what they cost me. They were usually 2-4 hours late in arrival time. The water heaters were plumbed incorrectly- he used the wrong couplings, tubing and also installed improperly. He turned the pressure up to 160 (60 is the max per professionals). The valve had to be replaced and we paid $1,000 to a master plumber to re - plumb correctly and replace the valve. The ceiling fan was wired backward. They would not return my calls or text when I asked them to come fix it. Very poor quality and customer service.
