I made it clear in my call that we only need four windows. They can play back their recording to confirm. We had our measurements, knew which product we wanted and planned to install ourselves. They could have given me the price over the phone. WCUSA insisted on sending a very likable sales lady to re-measure all of our windows and question us about our ownership, financing, insulation requirements, how long we've lived in our home, how long we plan to stay and other things that shouldn't affect the price. She was so nice that I hesitated to tell her she's wasting my time and hers. As it turned out, their windows are $19,000 for 18. That's around $1,055 each. HD and Lowes are selling (same description) double pane double hung Energy Star southern zone windows over the counter for around $189 with lifetime warranties? The big box stores don't burn two hours of my time re-measuring and presentation about quality when I only want four windows. HD, in particular, offers a written lifetime warranty and it takes us less than 30 minutes to install each window. We could install four of them instead of politely enduring their, questioning and demonstrating a "quality" sample window fragment that had an obvious flaw in one corner. Fast forward two days and we have just finished installing the twentieth of twenty four windows in our home. Our expense is $3,780 for twenty windows that are in stock, $1,320 for four special order and $480 for tax. Total cost $5,508. We just have to wait until 12/31 for the four custom built windows as we did before the call. That saves us $13,492 compared to the WCUSA offering.

Horrible experience. I hired them to remove 4 walls during an entire renovation of my house over 2…read moreyears. My general contractor does it all, but removing load bearing walls so I hired Forsyth Remodeling to just remove the walls. They were more than other contractors but I wanted to make sure it was done properly as this was the ground floor in a 2+ story home. Work began and quickly went downhill. Some walls were not load bearing and Jay told me there was no way to return the $1.3k in wood materials no longer needed and I was stuck with the extra wood!!! Electric lines were cut from outlets and they refused to re connect them without me paying additional. Same thing for the lights. So now there is NO power to the kitchen, entryway, and living room. I had wires hanging from the ceiling, walls and floors uncapped. I texted Jay multiple times halfway through the week, he just kept saying if you want us to do anything with the power you have to pay more. So they have no problem cutting the lines. They just refuse to Reconnect them The contract stated that drywall was to be put up at the end and I kept questioning him how they could put drywall up with unattached wires going everywhere. He just kept telling me I have to pay for an electrician. By Friday the workers were using cell phone lights to work by. Nobody stopped by to check on the workers work or the progress. Nobody talked to me, even though I was raising serious issues in the middle of the week. By Friday I was living in a completely dark house with lights, not switched up. Drywall hanging and damaged from them taking down the walls and still no explanation or timeline on when drywall would go up or how in the world could they drywall around opened unconnected wires. I told Jay that the pictures and story would not look good on a review and he said that he did not care and to go right ahead. Eventually, I talk to the owner of the company. He explained that drywall should never have been included as you cannot drywall around unconnected wires. He also agreed that yes walls should have been checked before buying product. That is non-returnable and did refund me the unused wood, and they took it back, I guess for another project. He also finally on Friday sent the electrician to spend an hour or two tentatively reconnecting wires to be able to have power and lights for the weekend. He also agreed that my Contractor should have been coming in during the week to do the wiring so they could have done the drywall, however, Jay explicitly told me that under no circumstances could I have other vendors like my Contractor here working while they were here which I abide by. This *Now leaves us multiple days behind schedule and trying to juggle other vendors. It's really hard to describe the amount of stress and dysfunction going on in an already chaotic stressful situation. I was refunded for work not done and the materials not used. I was not given a discount for the incredible cluster fluff that this turned into. The lack of communication and refusal to even come out to see what the issues were created an absolute worst case scenario. The workers did a decent job on the work that they did however such a lack of common sense when writing a quote, and severe lack of management and common sense of seeing the issues that were happening and refusing to listen to me or come out and address the issues left this a nightmare. I have spiderwebs of wires everywhere and struggling on a Friday afternoon to try and reset and find drywaller's for next week before the painters are supposed to come. they to charge me to hook up a wire, but didn't offer a refund for the damage that they caused to other drywall areas. Better customer service would have been to do what they did and the small amount that was still owed written off for a decent customer service, the sleepless nights, the thermostat not working, the power not working, having to eat out because there's no way to cook food, no lights in the house at night, ect.

Progreen had not worked with a qualified engineer for the project, even though large walls exceeding 4ft in height require expert engineer guidance throughout the construction process. Our wall is 6 ft high and 71 feet long. Progreen texted that an engineer was not involved and proceeded to write that an engineer did not have to be involved-- demonstrating ignorance of code and raising huge liability issues Adding insult to injury, Progreen disregarded the approved design that was agreed upon by both myself and documented on the site plan and instead installed a completely different shape of wall without permission. This alteration not only violated our agreement but also raises serious concerns about their integrity and credibility as a company. When confronted with the issues raised by the inspectors, I reached out to Progreen in search of answers and resolution. Shockingly, their response was rude and dismissive and bordered on gaslighting. They dared to label our valid concerns as "crazy" before abruptly cutting off communication entirely. In light of these appalling circumstances, I strongly advise anyone considering hiring Progreen to hire someone else. Their lack of professionalism, inability to meet code requirements, and willingness to alter approved designs (without any communication, discussion, or approval) demonstrate that they are an unprofessional and unsafe company.

The white posts supporting the roof should be much taller. See the design pic attached which shows what I paid and thought I was going to get. Spent +23K and feel totally duped and frustrated. I recently contracted with RC Pro Solutions to have a new patio constructed including a covered roof. This project was frustrating to say the least. I won't go into great detail here, but the lack of communication as well as transparency were two of the biggest issues dealing with this company. After several attempts to have my concerns addressed with their initial representative, Patrick stepped in as our contact and communication did improve. However, a lot of the damage was done at this point, including a failed early inspection in the process due to an improper slope of the roof. Furthermore, in our quote, it says porch roof with shingles to match the house. We had no idea that meant the porch ceiling would not be stained or painted. It wasn't until final payment was due that we were told that any painting would be a separate price. Therefore, we were left with a treated ceiling that will still need to be painted or stained to properly complete the project. Despite being in agreement with us that it was their error that this was not properly explained, RC Solutions refused to bend on including the painting once the treated wood is ready for the final finishing. So now, we are left with the need to contract with someone else to finish their job. I will admit the overall workmanship was seemingly done properly. However the posts that hold the roof were left with stains and marks which again, clearly needed to be painted along with the ceiling. It is very discouraging when you spend a lot of money on a project and get surprised in the end. Unfortunately, that was our experience with RC Pro Solutions and for that reason, I cannot rate them higher than a '3.' Customers should know exactly what is covered and not covered in any price quoted. Surprises are unacceptable! Not a satisfied customer.

After replacing some cracked concrete areas, the driveway looked like a checkerboard. We decided to cover it with a "tar and chip" procedure to make it all uniform. Bad idea. The second layer of stone ("chip") ended up being washed to the bottom of our driveway. Then came Robert and his application of Ace Resin. It was put on top of the concrete and the tar and chip and covered all my previous mistakes and he and his crew did it to my complete satisfaction. I understand they can use the same process on pool decks and sidewalks. The base come in many colors to satisfy anyone's tastes.

We also obtained a second opinion, and their recommendation was consistent with DOM's, which gave us additional confidence in moving forward with them. Before DOM could complete the work, we had even more rain coming, so we called and they came out to tarp the area and help prevent additional damage. That responsiveness meant a lot to us. The repair was completed as promised, communication was excellent throughout, and the cleanup was fantastic. They even went over the area with a large magnetic tool to make sure they didn't leave any nails behind. The area was spotless when they left. We're very happy with DOM and would definitely recommend them.

But the attic was still a scorching 155 degrees on a hot day. If I could cut this heat down, it would transfer less heat to the 2nd floor as well. Dimitry came out, walked my attic with me and flew a drone overhead (and gave me some really cool shots of my roof)! He explained that I did a great job with the foil, but I now needed either a ridge vent to pull the heat out or convert my small turtle vents to active solar fans to draw the cool air from the edge soffits and pull the hot air out the top.
