I had some animal who somehow was able to chew holes all the way through my Hardiplank siding into…read morea closet. Luckily the animal never seemed to make it into my house since it found a bunch of books where it chewed the hole, but the second hole it chewed almost made it through to an area with nothing blocking the animal from getting into my house. I needed to get someone to repair this fast and tried my roofing and siding companies, but they didn't do small jobs like this. I found Spectrum Home Services from a web search and saw some positive reviews, including a couple here on Yelp. I called up and left a message. Frank called me back within about 30 minutes and we discussed my problem. He said he would be able to do the job and asked for some photos so he could estimate. When I got home, I took the photos and sent them. I got a very reasonable estimate the next day and scheduled the job. I didn't have to wait too long for the job to be scheduled -- they came out within about a week. The worker who was sent out was very professional and did a very good job fixing both the outside and inside. It all looks back to normal, as though there was never a hole in the wall. He worked very efficiently and was finished within a couple of hours. Payment was very easy -- I got an invoice in the email and could pay online through Quickbooks. It's hard to find good companies who do small jobs around the house -- I definitely had a very good experience with Spectrum and would use them again. They are highly recommended. It's a four or five star company for me.

Our house was built in 1925, so I'd imagine it wasn't easy to match the plaster, but Frank did it seamlessly. We also had him swap out 4x4 columns in our basement to 6x6 columns, and they also did an excellent job at that. He also did some other minor work, like adding a water heater flue pipe. I'd definitely recommend Spectrum, they are professional and definitely worth the money.

As he has a Yelp Guarantee, Dwayne was hired to make a house "rental ready", including complete paint of walls, ceiling, doors, trim and baseboard and other items. 1. He did not deliver the mutually signed scope of work. 2. Promised to show receipts for material he bought, and did not. he told me he needs to buy completely new paint to match; i agreed and asked him to keep the original in the garage... but when i asked about it, he told me he through it away. oh ya... 3. He did not complete the job - not on time nor AT ALL. As I am remote, he represented that he painted everything, and showed me certain things on video, via zoom. But when tenant came to the house, i got the reality in my face. he made paint touches, unprofessionally, with different paint color on the wall, trim and basedboard. i will let you judge by the pictures. I am not suggesting he did nothing, but he did not do many other items he said he had done; i had to get other vendors and pay twice. I sufferred losses, and had to rent out the house "as is" at a lower rental rate. Bottom line - he got his chance; I would not give him another. You can judge for yourself!

Sun Home Remodeling did a fantastic job painting my dining room ceiling, from start to finish. My…read moremaster bathroom had a leak, resulting in a water stain in my dining room. After the plumber fixed the leak, there was a hole in the drywall--but my home warranty would only cover the drywall rough patch, and not sanding, refinishing, and painting. I reached out to a few painting companies on Yelp and Sun Home Remodeling was easily the most affordable, and very responsive. The owner Romer asked for pictures of the area and gave me an estimate based on my measurements of the room. Other companies quoted 3-4x the price, with a 1-2 week lead time. Romer came out the same day! He was professional and polite, he wore shoe covers inside our home which I appreciated. Romer explained what he was doing and why, and even went to buy paint to match (with a discount because he was a business owner). I appreciate that he passes the savings on to the customer. He was very thorough when prepping the room, and laid tarps down, used professional equipment, and was done in a matter of hours. The ceiling is seamless, I couldn't be happier!
