I've been a loyal Camy's customer since the late 90's and am an overly generous tipper, but I don't think I can continue to give my money to them. Camy's used to be a beacon of independent pizza in Memphis, but lately they've fallen in both quality of food and service. Normally when you order a pizza from Camy's, you expect to pay a little a more for it and wait a little bit longer for your delivery, but it will be worth it. Well my fellow Memphians, that time is gone. You still pay the premium price, but no longer receive a premium product with a premium service. My most recent experience (ie: tonight) - 7:22pm - Call Camy's, order a single pizza for delivery. Told it will be 35-45 minutes. Seems reasonable. 8:25pm - No pizza yet. Call Camy's to ask about pizza or driver, am put on hold for 14 minutes then hung up on without speaking to anyone beyond the initial "Please Hold" message. 8:55pm - Driver arrives with pizza. Rather than be mean, I politely pay, hoping that it was just a delay and my pizza will still be nice and fresh and hot. No such luck. Cold, soggy, and utterly inedible. In the battle of capitalism vs. quality, we can plainly see who won out. read more

I've been ordering from Camy's since I was a student at CBU. My favorite is their grilled chicken dinner. It's so filling for the price that you pay. great customer service and attitude and will even correct something when the order is wrong which is very rare that the order is wrong. read more

I have lived in Midtown for very long time. I have eaten Camy's pizza for years. I don't mind paying a little extra for the quality. This has to be the best pizza in the city! Delivery is always faster than predicted. I am actually quite pleased with the service and the food all around. read more

Ordered delivery twice. Service was friendly and quick. But food ranges from mediocre to gross. And not really in a way that was redeemable. The sandwiches we had with the first order were okay. But the second order we got wings and pizza. The wings were the fattiest I've ever had. The pizza was awful. Sauce, crust, cheese, toppings. All of it was disappointing, and we ended up throwing away almost the whole meal. read more

I ordered a steak dinner tonight and may I say they delivered in a timely maner and the delivery guy was very nice, it all went down hill from there. The steak was tough, as leather and undercooked, I asked for medium, it was rare. The baked potato was undercooked and they charged me for a loaded potato but all it had on it was some melted mystery cheese, nothing else. My suggestion is keep looking unless mediocre minus is what you are looking for. read more

I ordered a small supreme pizza from Camy's, at approxiately 8 pm received by 905 pm, i GET OFF WORK @ 930 PM, when I rec the pizza it was the wrong one, I called the OP menager and she said she would remake it, but I was leaving in less than1 hour which I would not have time to eat the pizza. She said that she would , mail me a coupon. When I rec the coupon it was $2 off next pizza. I bought a pizza that was not eaten because it was a pizza w/o meat and only veg. Called the OP Manager and she said she coulld not replace the pizza. I give 0 FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DELIVERY TIMES. False Advertisement! I've been eating at Camy's since 1998. Camy's has been bought out by a company that does not sell pork AT ALL! They never mentioned this when I placed my order (Pepperoni, Italian Sausage and black olives) they refused to give me a refund. The quality is poor. Pizza is nom! Cheese bread is nom! Ordered a pepperoni and black olive pizza and cheese bread later one night and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was more homemade feeling than larger pizza delivery businesses. I enjoyed this aspect. The sauce mixed with the cheese was a nice ratio as well as toppings. No shortings here. Also the cheese bread is literally cheese on garlic bread. However plain sounding this is and looks, it is cooked to crunchy perfection and has a tonnnnnn of cheese on the bread. Ordered via Bite Squad at 4:43 and delivered at 6:12. Status showed "Camy's is checking your order for accuracy" for 15 minutes. How does it take that long to "check" a pizza? As you can imagine it was very cold at delivery. Pizza was exceptionally heavy with sauce and not very flavorful. Bite Squad issued a credit due to amount of time restaurant took so I think it was much more a restaurant issue than Bite Squad issue. read more

I ordered Camy's. Horrible! I ordered a 12 inch pizza All Meat and a salad and had it delivered via Uber Eats. My pizza was burnt to a crisp. Literally, the crust was black and the pizza was not edible. The supposed All Meat pizza had little meat and the crust seemed like it was made out of biscuit bread. When I contacted the restaurant to explain what occurred with the burnt pizza, the person who answered the phone put me on hold and never came back to the phone. Not sure who owns this place, but they never have to worry about me ordering again. read more

my family and i ate here this saturday. we were the only ones to dine there this saturday night, which was surprising. anyways, we had a groupon. i ordered an italian, and my faily ordered a pizza and a hamburger. we all liked the food. i liked my sandwich a lot, and i tried some of the pizza. i can clearly tell that the proprietor - a very sweet counter-culture southerner - cares deeply about food. she's a sincere chef who appreciates food. Their service was great, and i sincerely got a great vibe from her and the staff. they're very nice and welcoming. now, my only 'complaint': on principal, i don't drink bottled water. now, i would *PAY* money for a tap water, but i don't drink bottled water. one of the workers there claimed that they didn't have cups and that i could only buy water. however, they brought out cups after some time. also, the ingredients, pizza crust, etc. is all fabulous, i wish that Camy's prepares more of the ingredients from scratch. i support family owned businesses, and i'll always support camy's. give me camy's hamburger over corky's ANYDAY (check out my review of corky's). camy, if you're listening, we're kindred spirits. have a heart for those of us who are environmenally conscious. read more

We just moved to midtown and wanted delivery food and found Camys... and it was DELICIOUS! Their wings are incredible and the salads are perfect sizes. Also, the delivery guy was a little late, but he called and told us, and we didn't mind it at all because he was really nice and polite. They did forget the chicken on my grilled chicken salad, so that was the only negative. Definitely ordering more from them soon :) read more

I'm assuming this place thrives on unsuspecting first time customers staying at local hotels, because there is no way anyone in their right mind would order their pizza twice... absolutely awful. Worst customer service I have ever seen. I ordered food at 6pm was told it would arrive in 45 minutes. After 1hour and 10 minutes I call to check on my food. I was told it was on the way. After 1hour and 35 minutes I call back and I'm told they thought it was for pick up. The manager just said sorry she didn't know why and they could have it on the way in another 10 minutes. Our office really enjoyed our Camy's experience yesterday. I try to make it a point to shop local and when we order for our office delivery Camy's is the first thing that comes to mind. We got the xl Memphis BBQ pizza which is great. I wish they had more online specials as there is nothing for what we order every time vs going to a non local competitor or maybe a loyalty program of sorts. Pizza was great, Tea was great. We were told that the pizza would be delivered in 30 to 45 minutes, and after we waited an hour I called. The woman that answered said they'd be there any second. Then after waiting another 20 minutes we called again and were put on hold for about 3 minutes. While we were on hold the pizza showed up. The driver (we were going to tip them well still since it wasn't their fault) didn't acknowledge that it had been about an hour and a half. The pizza was p good though! My wife loves the ribeye steak dinner here...and I do mean love. I'm not much of a beef eater, so I dont understand why, but it is really good to her. The only thing on the menu I can tolerate is the Caesar chicken salad. They've got to do better with the wings...far too much chewy skin and fat and the sauce lacks individuality. read more

The sandwiches and burgers are decent. Very filling, and generally terrible for you -- a guilty pleasure. Emphasis on pleasure. Their pasta is all kept chilled, and heated up in the microwave to order with either the red sauce or Alfredo sauce, so it's not exactly the best. Stay far away from their overpriced pizza. The hand tossed and thin crust dough is not very good at all, and with so many better local options in midtown, they're crazy to charge as much as they do. Horrible. No taste. The spaghetti and meatballs - tasted like canned tomato paste with frozen meatballs. The fettucini was dry and had no taste. The garlic bread was burnt on edges therefore making it all taste bitter. The side salad was the best part. It was fresh and I had no complaints. The caramel apple pie was not a pie. Weird cakelike crust. Not good. The triple chocolate cheesecake was definitely NOT cheesecake. Had a strange, pungent pre-fabricated taste of something and the brownie on the bottom tasted like a tough, Little Debbie style brownie. The whole meal was absolutely disgusting other than the salad. We wasted our money. I feel like Camy's will soon be on Restaurant Impossible. Save your money. read more

Camy's used to be a staple in our house. We ordered quite frequently and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately, over the last 6 months, Camy's has seriously declined and after tonight, we will not order from them again. We've tried to give them several chances but the delivery time has been significantly off (like 30 minutes to an hour later than we were told) every time we've ordered in the last several months. Tonight when I called to find out when our order would arrive (20 minutes after it was supposed to be here), the phone rang for about 2 minutes and then someone picked up and immediately hung up. To top it off, my husband got a chicken sandwich tonight and it was the smallest sandwich I've ever seen. I was beyond shocked. It looked like a kids' meal sandwich. So, while I would have recommended Camy's a year ago, my advice now is to definitely stay away from them as its a complete waste of money. read more

My family and I have been Camy's customers for over a decade. In that time, the biggest complaint was usually the price, and the occasional burnt pizza crust (which was usually because the pizza had too many toppings and needed longer to cook). But we could always rely upon the subs, and the Pizza Sub in particular, but no more. Meat is no longer listed among the toppings for the sub, so you end up with a veggie pizza sub. Previously the Pizza Sub always came with meats, like their other subs do (e.g., the WCR, Meatball, Reuben, Italian, etc.); I had ordered the pizza sub a dozen times before and always enjoyed it - it always had meat. When I called to complain, the manager failed to acknowledge that a decade-long customer used to ordering the same sandwich with the same name and same toppings should expect the same sandwich that had been reliably received over a dozen times previously. So a lack of customer appreciation, along with increased prices for sub-standard meals, are the new standard for this establishment. And that is a shame. I really hate that Memphis does not have more delivery places, because my family is done with Camy's. read more
