For any bike need to enjoy the warmer Buffalo weather or even a holiday or birthday gift, Campus Wheelworks is the answer! From the moment you will be greeted by one of Campus Wheelworks amazing employees! They aren't pushy and are very helpful with any questions you have about any bicycle your looking for. They offer mountain, hybrid, and motorized bikes! The owner Ethan is usually there or the Elmwood location and is very knowledgeable and helpful as well. What I appreciate about the newer location on Niagara Street is they have a paved bike lane/ path right outside the store to "test ride" the bicycles. I feel in love with the LIV hybrid bike and my husband Dan bought a GIANT bicycle. Campus Wheelworks also sells accessories and we purchased new bike locks and helmets as well. They also sell some pretty sweet Campus Wheelworks swag. Stop by the newer Campus Wheelworks on Niagara Street or Elmwood Avenue and I promise you will be back. Do your part and SUPPORT LOCAL!

Staff is beyond rude and act like they don't need your business. I thought things would change from their move from elmwood I guess not.

He asked if I had any questions and discussed bikes with me for a short time. He was knowledgeable about bikes as well as trails and where to ride. The shop is super clean with everything in it's place, neat and orderly. Quite a few shops I've been in things are piled all over in disarray so this was nice, easy to see what's for sale. There were accessories like locks, bells, seats, tubes plus a good variety of new bikes. The prices seemed really great for a bike shop. I can't write about service but I would definitely bring my bike here and try it if needed. The parking lot and entrance are in the back enter from the side street....easy peasy. I look at this as a great find....love to see bike shops around.

They have a good system with signs reminding you of the rules without sounding judgmental. I came in with a well loved bike needing a serious tune up. Both staff were very friendly and gave my bike a quick look over with specific explanations of what I needed and why. They gave me a price estimate right away; something I truly appreciate. It was a quick turnover so I came back a few days later and staff was just as friendly and helpful as the first visit.

It's a small shop and you won't find thousands of bikes to choose from. But you'll find someone who is honest and dedicated to full service. That's hard to find. I spent under $300 for a quality bike for my 9 year old granddaughter. I was treated the same way as if I was spending thousands of dollars. They offer a full repair shop, so I know that adjustments can be made. Also I found out that the original location was on Transit Rd in Lockport. I actually bought a bike from them many years ago and didn't connect the dots. I'm a Lockport guy so that's a plus for me

I should have asked for a total before leaving my bike. I was surprised to find out that, upon returning to pick up my bike, the bill was $279 which is about half of what my bike is actually worth. Additionally, my bike didn't ride/shift any better than before, maybe I didn't even need a tune up. My local car mechanic charges me less for an actual repair to my car! I don't know why simple tune-ups are so darn expensive at local bike shops! I called back a month or so later because my front wheel, only after a few rides, wasn't spinning freely like the rear. I was told to bring it in and that they may have to charge me again to adjust it. So much for guaranteeing their work. Suffice to say, I will be looking for another bike shop.

I'm an average height but have long legs for my height. Andy quickly realized this and that narrowed his recommendations down to bikes that would fit me specifically. He even recommended two models that he didn't sell. He just wanted me to get the right bike for me. After doing my research and test riding (even at his competitor's), I found the Argon bike was the best for me and bought it from Andy. He then got it all set up and did a final fitting with me too. He explained the little bit of maintenance I'd need to do as well. In the end, he spent several hours over 3 days with me and was amazing. I highly recommend him and this shop. He knows what he's talking about and works with you to find what's best for you.

We asked if the employee would let the Hamburg store know that we wanted the bike and were on our way. Drove to the Hamburg store and waited over a half hour until the employee there was done with other customers only to find out that the bike was actually more than double the price given. There was zero attempt made to honor the given price or to reach some sort of compromise. We wasted 2+ hours. Either bait and switch or total incompetence.
