I am not 100% sure these guys are a 4* (maybe 3.5), but they don't have a ton of competition. However, they are a rare gem in that their entire product line is for camping trailers, in Canada, where the season is way too short imho. Also, you have to know your prices, and don't be afraid to shop around to compare. Case in point: we were looking at a bike rack that they are charging $400.00 for. I said no initially as I thought that was high. Doing the research proved that the price was actually right on par. In the end, we did not go back to get it as it does not suit our particular set up. They offered a carpet for outside the tent for $109.00, but I found one (surprisingly at Canadian Tire!) on sale for less than half that price. Having said that, we have been there a couple of times for parts, which these guys excellent at. A shower head to replace a broken one, and a door gripper to hold the outside door open. Great! These were very helpful. Incidentally, we almost walked out without the shower head as it came with an entire kit for about $35.00, but when we passed the cash, they had just the head for much less money. What can I say? I strongly regret purchasing my RV here. The RV has had multiple serious manufacturing defects, and the dealership's service has been extremely slow, unresponsive, and unreliable. Structural Water Damage: On the first trip of 2025, the slide-out wall was swollen from water infiltration. The dealership immediately confirmed it was caused by an incorrectly installed factory seal. A warranty claim was opened--but eight months later, I still have no confirmation from the manufacturer. This RV has a 3‑year structural warranty, and water infiltration clearly qualifies. Meanwhile, the damage has already hurt the RV's resale value. Excessive Delays: The RV sat at the dealership for 3 weeks for a repair that ended up being nothing more than two strips of caulking. I've lost weeks of camping while still paying for a unit I can't use. Axle, Suspension & Tire Failure: After only 8 short trips (under 1,600 km total), one tire wore down to near blowout and the other shows abnormal inner wear--likely axle or suspension issues. My RV uses a Lippert axle, which is currently the subject of a class action lawsuit for defective materials. The RV has now been stuck at the dealership since late August with no updates. Other Issues Ignored: A 1‑inch window seal was found out of place (another water infiltration risk) and I still don't know if it was ever repaired. Bottom Line This has been one of the worst purchase and service experiences I've ever had. The RV has repeated factory defects, major structural issues, and safety concerns--combined with months‑long delays and almost no communication. I absolutely cannot recommend this dealership or this manufacturer. read more

Went in to buy a trailer advertised at $19,000 ish a couple of weeks ago. The lady showing us the trailer was very nice. But after then it all went down hill. When they gave us the price a $19,000 trailer was now almost $37,000! They were adamant about selling their $7000 warranty which I did not want. I even offered to buy cash instead of financing. The finance guy who came across slimy stated that the warranty is non negotiable and they won't sell a trailer without it. So me and my family decided to leave. Suddenly the non negotiable warranty was now $5000! We still left, told them to call if they change their mind. I am not being forced to purchase a warranty, horrible sales tactics. Take my warning about this place, everything you see on your trailer you have to pay extra for. Also Grand River trailers are not on black books for resale value. Ended up buying a new trailer with no extended warranty from a keystone dealership in Vars in cash. read more

Poorly built campers made of cheap materials. Plastic plumbing pieces... which is likely why our toilet and water pump leaked the second day we owned it. There was also sharpie marker writing on the lower section of our dining area (likely from install - the piece should have been flipped). A very large scratch on our kitchen counter as well as chips, scratches and unfitted trim installed throughout. I feel whoever caulked the trailer had never done it in their life, just a mess. I expect it will leak from the ceiling in the not too distant future. The electric water heater did not work. The electric connection for the clearance lights also did not work. We had our friends plug in their truck and they still did not work, yet they told us that it was our truck that was malfunctioning. The same friends also bought a "new" RV from CampMart... and it leaked through their ceiling on their first weekend. They also never tell you about the extra fees until you decide to purchase the vehicle (purchase price $20K... actual price... $37K not including interest!). There is more, but I think my point has been made. Stay away. read more

My recommendation is stay away from campMart all together, lets start with the webpage they have for they only put very few with price tag and when you want to get a quote they do not return your phone calls. You have to drive to them and find out the there RV's are garbage for they come with no ladder for the bunkbeds the cooking stove only has two burners and to close together so you can only have small things to cook with good if only two in camper not enough space to put thing's that means your luggage in the road. According to there website no money down bad credit bank bankruptcy guess again you need to have 10% to 40% depending on your credit score as for staff they push you into signing the agreement and they do not return phone calls what so ever. read more

We bought a brand new 2023 destination from CampMart Kanata in September they delievered it on the last day of park being open, already winterized apparently. Fast forward to opening this year, leak in the bedroom, water filtration canister exploded while their tech was there to look at water damage from leak in bedroom, water from one end of living room to kitchen, Water coming up thru the floor/stairs at loft. They are refusing to exchange the trailer, saying the frozen pipes are our fault, no record of them winterizing it, their technician drained the antifreeze on opening day this spring lol he's already told them that Now they want to tow it back to shop look at it, told us it would be a minimum of a month to get the parts in, and they have no idea how long it will actually take them to fix it, oh and they can't even give me a day they are able to pick it up We haven't even used it as a RV should be we have had to use our neighbors facilities (Ie bathroom,shower,sink etc) and already paid our seasonal site obviously They promise call backs including there legal assistants and they NEVER return phone calls. I won't even give them a star . very bad sales manager poor customer service . after signing a contract that I was led to believe it was a 2023 but actually was a 2022 I proceeded to cancel my contract immediately and sales manger started yelling at me saying I can not do that !! And hung up on me .. i followed the consumer protection act to contact campmart by phone and by email and a faxed letter all which were to state to cancel my contract ,all within the 2 days policy . It's been a week and I haven't got any call back after repeated calls only reaching the secretary, left messages and emails still no replies . Stay away from CampMart Ottawa at ALL COSTS. Although our experience with sales associate Colleen White was fantastic, our experience with the finalizing associate/General Manager Hamed Hamed, is another story. During the purchase of our RV, my husband and I explicitly stated our disinterest in purchasing an extended warranty. Hamed Hamed, who finalized our sale, briefly reviewed the contract with us, focusing on the bi-weekly payment amount. We were led to believe that the RV came with its own warranty included in the sale price. Despite our eagerness to complete the transaction, we trusted that the terms discussed were accurately reflected in the final contract. Upon reviewing our contract on August 25, 2024, I was alarmed to discover that an extended warranty had been added without our consent. After numerous attempts to resolve this amicably, Hamed has refused to return any of my calls, at all. We have escalated this matter higher up. bought a camper in campmart in Ottawa purchase a camper on June 2022. The camper has a lot of problems to fix. It's been 11 months still don't have possession or the keys for the camper. It's still at the dealer trying to break the contract and they weren't honour it. They are the worst dealers I ever seen most of the workers cleaning the boss don't last long there, either on sickleave or quit. I have no respect for that place.
