I've called three times and just gave up, probably what they want. What a disgusting way for a company to operate. The trailer itself is complete garbage. Everything we touch falls apart. Window and door trims droop to the ground. The kitchen faucet flew apart and drenched the kitchen and contents. The drawers have started to literally fall apart. I could go on and on. Be warned everyone, stay away from this failing excuse for customer service AND the brand mentioned. 70k plus dollars....poof gone without a hope in hell of recovering even half of it. I am the sort of person that has not the guts to sell this piece of crap without first warning a potential admirer.

It took us almost 2 years after purchasing to even get our RV looked at. We purchased at the end of season 2023. We noticed immediately the first time we drove it that the siding was flopping on one side. We called. They told us no problem. It's covered under your warranty when you bring it in we'll fix it. The following season, we noticed that the rubber seal around the slide was ripped. We contacted them again and advised of this issue. Again we were told don't worry it's under your warranty when you bring it in. Keep in mind that every time we try to call and advise of these issues it takes us several weeks to get a hold of anybody! So we just brought the RV in last month finally! They emailed us to advise that the slide was not installed correctly. It's installed too much to the right therefore it's rubbing on the rubber seal. They said it's not covered under warranty!? then they said that they checked the siding and that it appears that from the manufacturer it's missing staples in siding. However, in order for them to fix that they have to take apart some of the siding. This also apparently is not covered under warranty!? So how do I end up paying almost $80,000 for a Jayco trailer that has nothing covered under said warranty? Oh and this would be the part about how their financing is an absolute SCAM!! Also, why would you keep telling me every time I called that these issues will be covered under my warranty and then I bring it in and you charge me $400 for the service call only to tell me that nothing is covered under my warranty?? DID I INSTALL THE SIDING? NO! DID I INSTALL THE SLIDE? NO! SO HOW THE HELL IS IT NOT COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER??? My advice is STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!

Structural Water Damage: On the first trip of 2025, the slide-out wall was swollen from water infiltration. The dealership immediately confirmed it was caused by an incorrectly installed factory seal. A warranty claim was opened--but eight months later, I still have no confirmation from the manufacturer. This RV has a 3‑year structural warranty, and water infiltration clearly qualifies. Meanwhile, the damage has already hurt the RV's resale value. Excessive Delays: The RV sat at the dealership for 3 weeks for a repair that ended up being nothing more than two strips of caulking. I've lost weeks of camping while still paying for a unit I can't use. Axle, Suspension & Tire Failure: After only 8 short trips (under 1,600 km total), one tire wore down to near blowout and the other shows abnormal inner wear--likely axle or suspension issues. My RV uses a Lippert axle, which is currently the subject of a class action lawsuit for defective materials. The RV has now been stuck at the dealership since late August with no updates. Other Issues Ignored: A 1‑inch window seal was found out of place (another water infiltration risk) and I still don't know if it was ever repaired. Bottom Line This has been one of the worst purchase and service experiences I've ever had. The RV has repeated factory defects, major structural issues, and safety concerns--combined with months‑long delays and almost no communication. I absolutely cannot recommend this dealership or this manufacturer.

When they gave us the price a $19,000 trailer was now almost $37,000! They were adamant about selling their $7000 warranty which I did not want. I even offered to buy cash instead of financing. The finance guy who came across slimy stated that the warranty is non negotiable and they won't sell a trailer without it. So me and my family decided to leave. Suddenly the non negotiable warranty was now $5000! We still left, told them to call if they change their mind. I am not being forced to purchase a warranty, horrible sales tactics. Take my warning about this place, everything you see on your trailer you have to pay extra for. Also Grand River trailers are not on black books for resale value. Ended up buying a new trailer with no extended warranty from a keystone dealership in Vars in cash.

They were too busy to even take a pic of roof as they spend all their time selling campers, not fixing or properly inspecting them. Anything bought from them requires an inspector BEFORE sighing. Within a month of buying, an Inspector found excess water damage on roof and floor. 2 other RV inspectors said the unit is totaled. Better to spend $900 on inspection instead of losing $60,000 after trusting these !@#$?!

We bought a camper here in 2019. They also talked us in to an extended warranty (my mistake - I fell for it). It was a nice little camper, but we barely used it (3 or 4 times a year at most) so we decided to sell it this year. I thought I would bring it in to Leisure Days Smiths Falls for a once over to make sure everything was working before putting it up for sale. We dropped it off the Wednesday before a long weekend and requested the basic maintenance package. They asked if we needed the camper back right away and I said no, we weren't using it the long weekend so the following week would be fine. Two weeks later, after I reached out to the service department several times, they told me I could come pick it up. Great! So I called ahead to pay over the phone so my husband could just pick it up on his way home. It was more expensive than originally quoted because they had to fix a few things. Fair enough. I asked them to itemize it, and then I asked why - if extra work needed to be done - no one called me to let me know. Or why they didn't at least mention it when they said the camper was ready to be picked up. Crickets on the other end of the phone. Then, after some back and forth, I said, ok, I would pay over the phone and my husband would come pick it up. Then they said, oh tell your husband to come see me, there is something with the axle or a spring in the wheel bearings I need to show him. What is the issue, I asked? Is it the axle or the wheel bearing? The answer was, oh I don't know exactly. I said, excuse me?? There is an issue you want to show my husband but can't tell me what it is? I was baffled. The I asked if it would be covered by the extended warranty. They said they would check. A few more days go by. I called and was told they were looking into it and would let me know as soon as they heard anything. Finally, my husband stopped by and they said oh yeah, it won't be covered by the warranty (again, they had an answer but didn't think to call and tell us). So we will be taking the camper to a proper shop to see what the actual problem is and to get the work done by competent mechanics. Now, my issue isn't with the warranty coverage (although, frankly, I wouldn't buy another one), it's with Leisure Days Smiths Falls and, in particular, the service department. They displayed a baffling lack of knowledge, some of the worst communication I have ever seen from a business, and terrible customer service. Overall, a completely awful experience. On a hilarious side note: as I was typing this review, Leisure Days Smiths Falls just called me to ask me if I knew they had a sale on and if I wanted to buy another camper. I said no thanks. I would never be buying anything from Leisure Days Smiths Falls again.

The technician told me that…read moreI have to change the brakes and bushings as well (tandem axle) and somehow that will incrementally cost an extra $4500 (changing back plates and bushings) on top of the original job for tires and bearings (should be noted brake parts cost $250 for 4 wheels on Amazon, and bushings are not that expensive). I wanted to cancel the whole job but they had my trailer and forced me to take the tires and charged me an inspection fee on top (somehow putting the drums back on is an extra 1.25h on top of the tire installation where the tires are already off)...... I am not even sure if they serviced the bearings... To put it mildly I do question their integrity given this behaviour and the prices quoted for changing the electric brakes and knowing what it actually takes to do it... I hoped I misheard but they certainly did not correct me when I repeated the price back to them... I went there based on their reputation and I am very disappointed by the experience. $4500 is quadruple what would cost to do disks and rotors on 4 wheels on any car which is quite a bit more complex, let alone electric brakes on a trailer so in my view we are talking orders of magnitude difference...

DO NOT go to Stittsville Trailers!…read moreWe took a used hybrid camper trailer that we recently purchased to Stittsville Trailers to have them check it to make sure that the camper is safe to drive. At the same time, we ask them to switch the newer tires from our old tent trailer to the hybrid trailer as they were the same size. The service department called us to let us know that the axle on the hybrid trailer is bent and needs replacing. We waited 5 days for the new axle to be ordered and installed and was charged over $900.00. When we got home, my husband checked the rating on the tires on the hybrid and noticed that they were not the correct tires for the trailer (too small). I called Stittsville Trailers back to find out why they didn't check the tires before they installed the new axle and to let us know that we needed to replace the tires. I spoke with Orville, the owner, and was advised that they don't check the tires if the customer supplies them. I reiterated that the whole reason we bought the hybrid camper in was for them to check to make sure that everything is good and safe with the hybrid. I asked if this should have been part of their service check? Orville replied that "they don't check tires if supplied by the customer". I was not amused by his reply so I asked him "if the customer supplied tires for a lawn mower would they install it on the trailer"? According to Orville "yes, they would"! I told him this is the stupidest thing I've heard and he didn't agree. Stay away!
