I drive to three other oil change spots before I finally found this place, and thank god I did! I had to take a sudden trip out of town, and I knew I was due for an oil change. I drive a 2013 Chevrolet Spark, a model that apparently is "too rare" for more places to carry the proper filters required to do the oil change. Both Midas and Oil Changers couldn't get the filters in before my trip, and I didn't have much hope when I came into Speedy. Right away, Brian calmed me down. I explained I had to head out of town for a funeral the next day and he immediately called his parts provider and asked that if be delivered the next day by 8am. I came by the next day and only had to wait about 15 minutes for everything to be wrapped up. Fantastic service. Not only did they manage to help me out in a right squeeze, Brian was super concerned about having to charge me an extra $8 for my special filter. $8?! Are you kidding?! The fact that he felt bad about such a small amount if money only made me like them more. He also made sure to order a few so I would be sure they would have them when I came back. Bonus? Absolutely incredible service!! I took my van in with a broken brake line at 10:30 and was able to pick it up at 2:30 as good as new. As a women I was nervous about going to a repair shop alone and being upcharged for the job being done. Brian took the time to explain everything thing they would need to to to my van, as well as all the prices. I didn't feel rushed, and no one talked to me like I didn't understand anything!! I can't say enough good things!! I won't be taking my van anywhere else in Ottawa because they won't be able to match the service, price, timeliness, and manners that Speedy Auto Services has! Felt really upsold. Tires were changed just fine. Got the usual upsells of oil change and rust protection. Then I was told the car needed $1,500 in repairs (about what it's worth). Took the car to my regular mechanic (who is unfortunately a long drive away), and he said none of that stuff needed fixing. Total repair cost - $0. read more

My parents have been going to this locations for about 15 years, and when I bought my first car I went there as well on their advice, even after I moved and it was no longer convienient for me. Any time they have suggested repairs to me they have had me come look at the car, and explain exactly what they were suggesting. One time I desperatly needed new tires and they were able to get them to their location within a couple of hours.
