Our RV Canada…read moreWildwood Grand Lodge was in sorry need of warranty work but the big surprise is no luck even getting an appointment. I've called three times and just gave up, probably what they want. What a disgusting way for a company to operate. The trailer itself is complete garbage. Everything we touch falls apart. Window and door trims droop to the ground. The kitchen faucet flew apart and drenched the kitchen and contents. The drawers have started to literally fall apart. I could go on and on. Be warned everyone, stay away from this failing excuse for customer service AND the brand mentioned. 70k plus dollars....poof gone without a hope in hell of recovering even half of it. I am the sort of person that has not the guts to sell this piece of crap without first warning a potential admirer.

DO NOT EVER BUY AN RV FROM RV CANADA! Like everyone else has mentioned here their customer service…read moreis absolutely horrible. It took us almost 2 years after purchasing to even get our RV looked at. We purchased at the end of season 2023. We noticed immediately the first time we drove it that the siding was flopping on one side. We called. They told us no problem. It's covered under your warranty when you bring it in we'll fix it. The following season, we noticed that the rubber seal around the slide was ripped. We contacted them again and advised of this issue. Again we were told don't worry it's under your warranty when you bring it in. Keep in mind that every time we try to call and advise of these issues it takes us several weeks to get a hold of anybody! So we just brought the RV in last month finally! They emailed us to advise that the slide was not installed correctly. It's installed too much to the right therefore it's rubbing on the rubber seal. They said it's not covered under warranty!? then they said that they checked the siding and that it appears that from the manufacturer it's missing staples in siding. However, in order for them to fix that they have to take apart some of the siding. This also apparently is not covered under warranty!? So how do I end up paying almost $80,000 for a Jayco trailer that has nothing covered under said warranty? Oh and this would be the part about how their financing is an absolute SCAM!! Also, why would you keep telling me every time I called that these issues will be covered under my warranty and then I bring it in and you charge me $400 for the service call only to tell me that nothing is covered under my warranty?? DID I INSTALL THE SIDING? NO! DID I INSTALL THE SLIDE? NO! SO HOW THE HELL IS IT NOT COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER??? My advice is STAY AWAY FROM THESE SCAMMERS!!

CampMart RV - This is the damage I was inquiring about to be repaired.

I strongly regret purchasing my RV here. The RV has had multiple serious manufacturing defects, and…read morethe dealership's service has been extremely slow, unresponsive, and unreliable. Structural Water Damage: On the first trip of 2025, the slide-out wall was swollen from water infiltration. The dealership immediately confirmed it was caused by an incorrectly installed factory seal. A warranty claim was opened--but eight months later, I still have no confirmation from the manufacturer. This RV has a 3‑year structural warranty, and water infiltration clearly qualifies. Meanwhile, the damage has already hurt the RV's resale value. Excessive Delays: The RV sat at the dealership for 3 weeks for a repair that ended up being nothing more than two strips of caulking. I've lost weeks of camping while still paying for a unit I can't use. Axle, Suspension & Tire Failure: After only 8 short trips (under 1,600 km total), one tire wore down to near blowout and the other shows abnormal inner wear--likely axle or suspension issues. My RV uses a Lippert axle, which is currently the subject of a class action lawsuit for defective materials. The RV has now been stuck at the dealership since late August with no updates. Other Issues Ignored: A 1‑inch window seal was found out of place (another water infiltration risk) and I still don't know if it was ever repaired. Bottom Line This has been one of the worst purchase and service experiences I've ever had. The RV has repeated factory defects, major structural issues, and safety concerns--combined with months‑long delays and almost no communication. I absolutely cannot recommend this dealership or this manufacturer.

Went in to buy a trailer advertised at $19,000 ish a couple of weeks ago. The lady showing us the…read moretrailer was very nice. But after then it all went down hill. When they gave us the price a $19,000 trailer was now almost $37,000! They were adamant about selling their $7000 warranty which I did not want. I even offered to buy cash instead of financing. The finance guy who came across slimy stated that the warranty is non negotiable and they won't sell a trailer without it. So me and my family decided to leave. Suddenly the non negotiable warranty was now $5000! We still left, told them to call if they change their mind. I am not being forced to purchase a warranty, horrible sales tactics. Take my warning about this place, everything you see on your trailer you have to pay extra for. Also Grand River trailers are not on black books for resale value. Ended up buying a new trailer with no extended warranty from a keystone dealership in Vars in cash.

Here is my wife's and my experience with 417rv…read more We were looking to purchase a used pop up rv so we could go camping with our children and grandchildren. My wife found a potential candidate on the 417rv website. She sent an email requesting to view the unit. She was contacted back by salesman, Marc who informed her the unit was at the Canadian Tire Centre as part of the clear out show going on there with multiple local rv dealers being involved. He invited us to see the unit there, which we agreed. Upon viewing the unit my wife noticed mildew stains and pin hole in the canvas so we declined this unit. Marc then proceeded to show us other potential units. We wrote up a deal on a brand new 2020 pop upp, pending financing and gave a deposit. On our way home my wife receives a call from Marc say we were approved. We were ecstatic and then asked what the terms were. Twenty years. This was not acceptable for a tent trailer. So she asked marc if we could make a deal on one of the older units that they had. We had agreed on a 2006 unit for a cheaper price and Marc informs my wife it would be a 7 year term. We agree and make plans to do the hour drive to the dealership on the following Thursday. My wife calls Marc on the Wednesday to confirm the appointment and the deal and he tells her, Yes the deal is on, NO SURPRISES. We get there Thursday evening and Marc meets us at the door. He's in a hurry to get out and run to the licence dept for another deal he's on and sends us to Jacques, the finance manager. Marc disappears. Sitting in Jaques office he proceeds to tell us that the has just presented the bank with the new deal and they have declined it. He called the bank for a clarification and he is waiting for a response. After half an hour sitting in his office the bank comes back and says the term is too long. They come back at a payment more than 2/3 what was previously told us and half the time, and a higher interest rate. SURPRISE! We decline the NEW offer and proceed to get our deposit back. Jaques fumbles around with the debt machine for another 10 minutes and can't get it to credit my bank card back. It keeps saying they are over their daily limit for refunds. He calls the bank that their machine is attached to to try and get them to allow the refund. 15 minutes more and still no refund. I tell him don't worry about it as it is getting late now and we still have an hour drive back home. Mail me a cheque I say. He says he will get it out as soon as possible. It is now 3 weeks later and still no deposit return. My wife called and Jaques says he will get the secretary to get it out as soon as possible. We ended up buying a newer pop up, for less than half the price, from a more local seller, CASH. To add insult to injury Marc sends my wife a text last night offering the 2006 unit at an all in price 3 times what we bought our 2009 for. She declined.

As with any RV, you will, from time to time, run into various issues. In our case, our "black" tank handle, was seized. This is not anything faulty with the RV as this can happen with any rig. Of course, I could have "played with it" tried to repair it myself but, I have always used professional help for any servicing of our various RVs over time. In this case, we placed a call to BGM on Monday, June 8, 2020. They are located in Chesterville, Ontario. Our park model is in a park located near Embrun. A service technician attended to the repairs on June 10, 2020. We were not at the RV when the repairs were done. The work done was impeccable, the service technician attended on the scheduled date and the repairs were properly done. We are truly happy with the repair but, more importantly, with the efficient service offered by this company. Tracey, who handled our service call, was polite, efficient and provided excellent customer service. Marc and Jane Coderre
