The salesman we dealt with was polite and respectful. We found a camper we were interested in buying, within our price range. The issue comes in when you settle on a unit and go to the office to talk price. They REALLY REALLY want you to finance. And we did not want to finance. We wanted to pay outright. Our salesman shows us the paperwork and immediately the price jumps up by about 4K. When questioned about it, the salesman leaves to go get his "boss" aka the upsell explainer... THEY want to add on a sway bar kit at just over $1k...for OUR safety. THEY wanted to add on another $300+ for a propane tank, with propane, and add water into the tank. THEN we were going to have a "complimentary walkthrough" to show all the systems and how they work. "Complimentary" costs another $1K. They attempted to nickel and dime excessive amounts of money for extras that we didn't want nor needed. Once I whittled them down from the extras we agreed to meet 2 days later to complete the sale. Well, our salesman was conveniently off that day, oddly. We got another dude. The whole charade starts again. Wanting us to finance. Wanting us to be safe with the whole sway bar package... Didn't want any of it. We rechecked all the campers we were interested in and AGAIN settle on the one we want. AGAIN, we are presented the offer with all the extras we DON'T want. I tell the sales guy what I am not willing to pay, basically all the unnecessary extras the continually plug. The sales guy leaves to talk to his "boss" aka the upsell explainer. This time, the extra "complimentary" service CAN NOT BE WAIVED. "Great! I will just take my deposit back and mosey on elsewhere." They quickly agreed to the deposit refund. We go home and shop locally and find what we are looking for from a person in our town that was selling his. Camping World had the gall to call several days later asking if we were still interested in being ripped off via ridiculous upsells... Nope! read more

If I could rate negative stars I would. We left with more problems than we came with. We brought in our class A for a few minor repairs and were insured this site was a certified repair facility by the manufacture as well as by Camping World. We provided specific instructions that were given to us by the manufacture to repair a falling cabinet. Upon pickup we found that none of those instructions were followed and 50 miles down the road the cabinet is falling again but now we have several holes in the cabinet where bolts were installed that should not have been and are pulling through the wood. On closer look I can now see where they ran at least 2 lag bolts through the headliner and now I have leaks above the cabinets. The other 12 lag bolts don't even attach to anything, they are just screwed through the top of the cabinet into thin air. We had a generator inspection done and when we picked it up the generator would not come on line. We found the switches on the generator in the wrong position. How did they test it if it would not come on line? We had an A/C service and when we turned on the heater there was such a loud squeal we had to turn if off immediately. The bearings in the fan are failing but they said it was all good with no issues. We asked for the toilet system to be checked and they did not know how a dometic vacuflush toilet worked. We asked for the tire pressure to be checked and they did not document what pressure the tires were at or if they had to add. When we checked them they were all over pressure. When we picked up the coach the stairs failed. They took 3 hours troubleshooting and in the process broke the battery control box panel and left the whole compartment full of broken pieces including metal pieces touching the circuit board. We're lucky it didn't short out or start a fire. We were told that they tried a new motor but it would not work because the motor was too new and it would cost $1500 for a new assembly plus labor. Once we got home a quick internet search proved the same motor has been used on our stairs since 2006, age had nothing to do with it and a new motor was $25 and took me 10 minutes to replace. How did they take 3 hours and still not know it was just a motor and why did they lie about the motor in the first place. They even refused to accept their own discount coupons we received at their RV show. We responded to their feedback with the same concerns and asked to be contacted to discuss these issues and never heard a word. Their concern is for show. I will start this review with some good before explaining the bad. The service advisor, Leah, was communicative throughout the process, and the team repaired flooring damage related to the recliners something we were not expecting and did appreciate. Unfortunately, we picked up our camper in worse condition than when we dropped it off. After a 15.5-hour drive to another state, we discovered the refrigerator had partially fallen out of its enclosure due to missing screws, which could have ruined the fridge and kitchen island if not more. Those screws were later found placed together in a kitchen drawer, despite staff initially insisting there was "no reason" they would have been removed. We also discovered that the locking mechanism on the egress window was missing, leaving a required safety feature inoperable. Most concerning was a toilet repair that was reported as fixed and tested and was misrepresented as fully replaced. Upon hookup at the campground, the bathroom immediately flooded from the toilet bowl including leaking at the foot pedal *the original issue it was brought in for*. We later realized a new issue, the foot pedal does not return to a sealed position without manual pushing up, something that would have been obvious during a basic inspection even without water hookup. Because we live full-time in this camper, we were forced to purchase and install a new toilet ourselves to restore basic habitability. When we contacted management during the flooding, the service manager repeatedly stated "I'm not going to argue" while simultaneously not allowing us to speak at all, and attempted to shift blame rather on us and the manufacturer rather than address the documented failures. A required post-service walkthrough, which management later referenced as standard procedure, was never performed or offered before we left with our camper. While some work was done well, the lack of final inspection, missing safety hardware, failed repairs, and dismissive management communication are deeply concerning. I strongly recommend thoroughly inspecting your unit before leaving and documenting everything. We have contradicting voicemails as well as pics and videos of failures of workmanship. read more

It has had the same issues since we purchased in April of 2025, and has provided the worst experience when camping on the road. I think the dipshit's name was Patrick or Corey---- Working with Camping world on repairs, or anything is horrid, and after speaking with a mobile rv tech, they mentioned they can't even find circuit board replacements for this fridge anymore, which is of course a NEVERCHILL. Buyer Beware. This dealership is a total scam. They will sell you anything they can regardless of your tow vehicle's ability to pull it. They charge $1,000 for some 18 yo that hasn't quite mastered the english language to 'try' to explain the features as fast as humanly possible. Of course, they add that to the invoice without telling you. Then the finance guy, Jason, hard sells an extended warranty by telling you it only adds $50 to the monthly payment, but fails to mention he will add the $13,000 retail price of the coverage to the amount financed so you can have the pleasure of paying an exorbitant interest rate to finance it over 180 months on top of the RV price. You only find out when your first billing statement arrives. Look up Camping Wold disputes online and you'll see all the customer complaints and class action lawsuits.Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Horrible service from Camping World in Oakwood. They had our RV for more than a year. We were told it was done and ready to be picked up at least four times. The first time, they couldn't even find it when we got there. Before contacting the police about a stolen vehicle, it was finally found in a paint bay. It was not ready for pick up. The second time we came, we saw the awning had not been installed properly. It had to be reinstalled, so we left (we live over an hour away.) The third time we came, nothing in the cabin worked because the batteries were dead, and could not be charged (remember they had had the vehicle about a year by now,) they made us purchase new batteries, but installed them at no charge. This time we saw that all of the solar panels had not been replaced from the damaged roof which was the original reason we took it there. They replaced them and when we came the final time to pick up, we saw that the solar panels were not working. They admitted they knew nothing about solar panels. This time we left with our RV because they said they may start working after 24 hours like a reset sort of thing. They did not start working, and when I tried to contact them about it, they never responded to me by phone or email. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever received from any business I have ever dealt with. read more

I bought a 2018 Jayco RV in January 2021 and purchased a four year extended warranty. Soon after that the thermostat starting acting up. It would cool to the desired temperature but not turn back on when the temp increased. I took the RV in and they tested it and said it was fine. Soon afterwards it was doing the same thing. I took it back in July 2023 and they replaced the thermostat with the same one that was in there even though I told them I wanted a different thermostat. I had talked to other campers and read a lot online about how these particular thermostats did not work properly and were having to be replaced. When I asked about getting a different model thermostat I was told they asked the warranty company about it and was told they had to replace it with the same model that was there. I called the warranty company directly and was told that no one ever requested that a different thermostat be installed. I then called Jimmy, the service manager, who said he knew that some of those thermostats were defective but that they should have replaced it with an updated model when the did the replacement in July 2023. Jimmy said he would look into and call Dometic and see what type of thermostat it could be replaced with and would call me back. He seemed to be generally helpful. However about an hour later he emailed and said he had spoken to a contact who told him to hot glue the board and that would fix everything. I responded that if that was the best he could come up with I would take the unit somewhere else. I asked "How many times do I have to tell you I want the thermostat replaced?" He responded by telling me how an RV thermostat worked. I told him I understand how it works and that I bought an extended warranty for the purpose of replacing defective parts and that this one is defective and I want it replaced. He replied that my tone was very condescending and that he was trying to "get your issue resolved but clearly that is not going to happen to your satisfaction. Good luck." I replied that I was just trying to get someone to honor the warranty that I had purchased and didn't understand why he was refusing to replace the thermostat when he admitted it was defective. I have not heard from him since then. The service department at this location is very rude and will not return phone calls. I was even told by my service advisor she would research the issue before I went to Jimmy and would call me the next day. When I didn't hear from her I called and found that she had gone on vacation for a week. I simply want someone to honor the warranty that I paid for. There is another Camping World near my home and I will probably take it there in the future, if not to a different dealer all together. read more

The jacks are defected, what water heater doesn't work, the water pressure is horrible can't even wash hands! The propane tank isn't the right size for our size RV, it's the same size of the propane tank you get at party city to fill up balloons! We have taken the TV to many mechanics that told us we were ripped off!!!!They sold it to us defected and we tried so many times to bring it in and told there is a 2 months wait for them to even look at it!!! I finally decided to give up and pick it up to us it and was given an invoice that included the parts they couldnt get. As we were driving out there was a crack in our windshield that was not there when we dropped it off. They take pictures when you drop it off so it celarly shows there was no crack. Jimmy the Service manager said it didnt happen there and even if it did we signed a waiver that they are not responsible for any damage that happens while our camper is on their lot. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!! Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!!!!! Where do I begin? We came to the Oakwood, GA location because they had the camper we wanted. Boris was our salesman. I kept insisting that we needed to see the camper with the slide out before finishing our purchase. Never happened. AFTER the purchase was completed, we found out that camper was DEFECTIVE and being returned to the manufacturer. They found another one just like it in another state & had it delivered to their location. After 2-3 weeks of us having it (we used it for a weekend) the slide leaked so horribly that basically half of the camper had to be completely redone. We purchased April 2022, didn't get a replacement camper until May 2022, brought it back May 2022 due to the leak. They had it until mid October 2022. Got it back, used it for a weekend & had a leak in the SAME place (plus another). Took it back December 2022, where they STILL have our camper as of now 6/1/23. We have been called 2-3 times saying our camper is "ready." Made an appt TWICE to pick it up & it was NOT ready!!!!! We live over an hour away from this location. They seriously need to get their communication together. First of all, how do you sell a camper that is defective & being sent back to the manufacturer??? Second, why do we keep being told our camper is finished & ready to pickup when it is not ready??? We have spoken with Chris, the sales manager, countless times about asking for some kind of resolution to this issue. He's been no help at all. During our last appointment, we sat down & spoke with Edward, the general manager. Of course he was sincere to our face & willing to "help how he could," which wasn't much at all considering the amount we paid for this camper & their lack of effort at compensation after everything we've been through. We've put in a request for them to buy back our camper. The price is insultingly low considering how much money they scammed us on buying this lemon camper. We've been called by their location multiple times since speaking with Edward in person, but nobody has left us a voicemail. When we return the phone call, everyone is clueless as to who has tried contacting us. I spoke with Chris last & was assured we'd receive a phone call back, never heard anything. If I could I would make this a zero star review! I brought my camper to this location for a issue with my slide. After months of them having my camper and the summer camping season ending they still could not get it fixed. The last time I went to pick up the camper after they said it was "completed" and looked "perfect" it was anything but right. I still have a camper with a slide that is not square in the opening after they "worked" on it for 5 months. This place is a joke. I was planning on trading my camper in for a 5th wheel but I would never do it with a Camping World. They have lost me as a customer for life. My wife and I, (first time buyers) went yesterday to maybe purchase a 20' pull behind. Salesman "Ross Ellington" drove us in golf cart to far end of lot to show us some product. (Took him all of two minutes to ask what my credit score was and what we had down). He showed us two campers, then took a phone call while we're standing in front of him. He then said he'd be right back. Jumps on his golf cart and NEVER!!! came back. We milled about till 1/2hr later when another salesperson drove by. Asked if he could help? Told him we were incensed to be dumped in a parking lot and left like we were pieces of shit. That we'd rather walk than ride with any camping world employee. So, we quite literally "walked" out, taking the 5k down payment and 800 fico score I had in my pocket. I had to give it a star to review . Do NOT trust these people. They lie and don't care at all about customers. We have given them lots of time but they keep getting worse. (Lie 1) Roof is warranted for 10 years as long as you have annual maintenance, and they even called the maker to verify while we were there. We had them do our yearly roof warranty inspection EVERY year and now they say there is no 10 year warranty. Every year we had the inspection we asked which would keep the warranty in place and they said the $1000 ish choice. No one ever asked what warranty (Lie 2) That they did the inspection at all. They repaired a tail light and the sealant has cracked and they say it's OUR fault for not maintaining the seal. What was the inspiration for and what would they use a product that cracks after 2 years? The other seals on our other lights are good after 4 years. So I can only guess they use cheap products. These people don't care about you or the over priced products they are selling. Do your research and pick a dealer who cares about the customer service they provide and who won't rob you blind. This place is run like a very bad used car dealership. You aren't allowed to browse without a sales agent with a list of pre approved campers to show you. The place is just jam packed with sales agents who seem to have no idea where they're going, what they're doing, or who's going to help you. Plus, we called when we were on the way down from Cleveland and told them specifically we were looking for a fifth wheel trailer with bunk beds. We got down there and they had one to show us even though the sales rep on the phone said he was going to pull up a list for us to look at. Turns out, on the paper he wrote that we were looking for a "used cheap fifth wheel" when we said nothing about used or cheap, and that was very offensive to learn that that's what they thought about us. We were prepared to purchase anything that fit us, new or used, cash. We were not looking for cheap. Just because we have a good handful of kids doesn't mean we're poor. Very bad business practices. We'd already been to a few different dealerships before stopping, and this was our worst experience.
