I finally had the opportunity to venture in considering I live so close. And they literally took over this side of the mall for construction purposes to what seemed like forever. Associates are friendly & helpful. I really like how everyone had a smile on! The store is tremendously big. Prices are average and in line with other sporting good stores. There were plenty of clearance racks as I strolled through the store. I overall like the shopping dynamic here. Way to go at making a good impression! read more

Poor customer service yesterday, actually NO customer service. Was trying to buy a pair of shoes, but couldn't get anyone to help get the shoes from the back. I walked around looking for help, even pushed the button on the counter. Waited a while. Finally went up to the front counter and they said "She might be on break." That's it. No one showed that they wanted to help me with shoes. Dick's lost out on a sale that would've been over $100. read more

Spent thirteen hundred dollars on an in ground basketball system on January 14th. It is now February 16th and I still don't have it. I've called dick's a few times, they tell me I have to contact Select Express to check on delivery and installation dates. Really! This tells me once they have your money they do not care about you anymore. Why should the customer have to deal with a third party? That's why I payed extra for shipping and installation. I have gotten a few calls from these people each time it's to schedule another date for one reason are another. This last call came at 9:30 at night pushing it back another few days! read more

I had the good fortune and pleasure of interacting with Dick's last week, when searching for - and obtaining - a Savage Rascal .22 rifle. Saw one on Dick's website and called to let them know I was interested. As first impressions go Dick's (via rep Kia) could not have been more courteous and helpful. I was referred to Clyde in hunting dept. and he offered excellent, attentive and informative service to back up my purchase. And kudos to Brian/manager on the superb appearance of the store. The absolute worst experience. Avoid at all costs. I went online and purchased a bike. I called the 800 number first, to to try to get assistance with sizing because I had no clue and we are unable to go into the stores, because of Covid19; curbside is all that is being offered. I drive 1.5 hrs. To this location because I cannot find the bike closer. I get there, the bike is brought out and its too tall. I explain to the associate that I drove 1. 5 hrs to get there, is there any way I can swap the bike for a more appropriate size. This woman, who is fortunate enough to still have a job, responds, "do you know how far I drove to get here?". Rude for absolutely no reason. I ask can I swap out the bike. She says I will have to return the bike, and then repurchase. I drove 1. 5 hrs...I return the bike, and repurchase, so now, pending in my account, is $353.00 and some change, twice...$353.00 for the first bike, and $353.00 for the second bike. The cost for the returned bike did not go back into my account. Dick now has 700 dollars of my money. Here we are, 5 days later, and guess what, Dick still has 700 dollars of my money. 353 for a bike I took possession of, and 353 for a bike I returned. It seems to me, that since we cannot go into the stores right now to try out bikes for a good fit, that the swap should not have required me to return and then purchase another bike. It seems to me, that that associate should not have been so snarky when I asked about picking up the newly purchased bike on that day, because of the distance I drove to patronize that store. Seems to me my refund should be immediate. I have been layed off and was just trying to find something to do, outside, in my subdivision, during this pandemic. Instead , they are holding my refund, while I can ill afford it; they have put nothing in place to assist their customers, but instead have processes in place for when we could enter stores, when we can no longer enter stores, and employ the most rude, self centered employees, on the face of the planet, making my experience, regrettable.
