Bad experience with the service department, after two weeks they told me they have repaired my rv , they charged me over $1300 to repair leaks on my air shocks, when I picked up my van I noticed zero pressure on the gage, I have notified the service department they told me they can fix it but they charged me over $1300 . Horrible service , not recommended this place !!! read more

It has been FOURTEEN BUSINESS DAYS and we still have yet to receive our REFUNDABLE $500 deposit back. Called corporate yesterday and was told I had to contact the location directly. I called and was told I had to speak with a manager who was currently unavailable. I left my number and was told I would receive a callback that day. Of course I didn't. Called back today (3:30pm, after not hearing from anyone.....surprise surprise) and was told the same thing.....someone will call you back. Nope. I'll wait on hold to speak with someone. Currently been on hold for 45+ minutes. Please PLEASE go ANYWHERE else to buy an RV. I trust Craigslist more than I trust this "company". Absolutely disgusting way to run a business. The owner should be ashamed. Corporate needs to close this location. read more

Great service from the service center at Camping World. We recently brought our RV and our Jeep to get a braking system installed. Ron hooked us up with the Roadmaster Invibrake kit. Josh and Lisa at the service center were super helpful and got it done in a day. We got a faulty Air Force 1 box but they ordered us another one and they installed it free of charge the next business day. My only complaint is the wiring could have been done a little neater, there's some areas where it's just balls of wire zip tied together but nothing too crazy. read more

This business for RV sales is the worst place to do business. The salesperson we had was not knowledgeable of the RV we selected. To be fair, he said he was there only about 3 months. He didn't know anything about the RV we selected. He couldn't give us any answers to our questions. We wished we knew , he was a newbie. Our RV had an electrical issue, took about 3 weeks before we finally had in our possession. Service dept didnt know how to fix it. Then, we were told we had 2 free nights at a RV campsite. Salesperson was suppose to set it up. He didn't get it done. It's been 2 weeks, and it never got it done. Their problem is, whoever is suppose to help, is always OFF for the day. It's been a very upsetting, frustrating and disappointing experience we've ever encountered. DO NOT GO THERE TO BUY A RV. They do not have any consideration for customer service. Buying a RV should be a pleasant experience, not frustration. FYI, seems like Managers, are never there! read more

I had a great experience at Camping World with my Montana RV thanks to Oscar and Jim. They worked together as a team to get everything done quickly and efficiently. We had the most unprofessional service I've ever had at this location. As soon as I said we aren't buying today maybe in 1-2 years that was it. I stated we were looking for a couple specific kinds of RV and all we got was short, rude, unprofessional behavior. As a sales person you never know if someone found the right RV then maybe they'd buy now and not wait as it's what they are looking for. The salesman did cart us to one specific area and left and said if you have other questions come see me. So he didn't want to stick around, thought we'd waste his time I'm sure. So as we made the trek back to the office I asked if they had any new Class A's. He said why would you want new if you're not buying now? Then I asked how the Fifth Wheels do in extreme cold weather? Like for instance Colorado in the winter for a couple weeks. He said he didn't know. It's not cold here so he wouldn't know. So you mean to tell me that you sell RV's but don't know how they are in other climates? I call BS. He just didn't want to deal with us because he wasn't getting a sale today. Well guess what Camping World. You won't get a sale from us today or ANYTIME in the future!! As well as we will NOT be recommended this location to anyone. Lots of luck. read more

Very difficult communications. Website did not have a piece of info I needed. Chat bot could not help. Filled out website request for info. Woman calls to assist, cannot answer detailed questions only wanted to set up appointment to see rig. Switches to salesman who also does not have info. Says he would have to walk out to the rv to get answer. When I expressed concern about how poor customer service this was, he disconnected the call. A few minutes later a different male called me to say that because of my profanity, which never occurred, they would not be able to help me. Very unprofessional. read more

Hear all the negative experience but thought I would give them a shot. All I wanted was the out the door price. I am ready to buy. They just couldn't do it. I am busy. I find something I like, I buy it. Manager calls to talk numbers. I just want to know the price before I arrive. Couldn't do it. Guess the stories are true. Lost a sale just like that. Went in today, there was four of the staff there. One on her phone, and two in the parts area having a personal conversation. Nobody greeted me or asked how they could help me. I was the only customer. Went the parts area and after standing there I had to interrupt their person conversation to ask a question. They didn't appear to be too happy that a customer came in. I said I would be back the next day and they told me other places I could go instead of returning there. I worked in upper management for many years and seems there must be some training needed on sales and customer service. read more

This place is horrible. Went to look at RV's and they really didn't seem too enthused about trying to make a sell. So, we drove to the St. George UT location. The young sales lady showed us items we asked for. We didn't think they fit us. She recommended and showed us others and we ended up buying from them. Got service on it at the Vegas location for problems we experienced. After service was done a couple weeks later, we set up an appointment to pick it up and do the walk through of the work. We get there and are told our service rep was off property and would be there in five minutes. Then five minutes more. Then five minutes more. A total of 45 minutes we had to wait for our service rep to grace us with his presence. Three of the five things we needed repaired weren't. So, not only was it already irritating because we had to wait, the work was crap. The decal that they replaced looked like they used a dull hatchet to trim the edges and the other two items were ignored. So, we had to leave it there again. They call us when it was finished and we set up another appointment for first thing the next morning. We get there and we have to track down our service rep again. We wait ten minutes and I said, "man, promptness isn't your guys' thing here, huh?" This pissed him off and he wanted to argue as he said he wasn't late because he was on the premises. We got our RV and went home. We will never do any repair business here again. We will drive to the St. George location and highly recommend you do the same. (This was from a year ago). Today my wife called to see if they had a water filter. They put her on hold and never got back with her. She called them back and they tell her they close at 6:00 when the website says 7:00. He said they were starting their fall hours. In the first week of August? Yeah, this place is garbage. read more

The worst service I have ever experienced. Do not shop here!! We agreed to a purchase price and down payment, they told us to get our insurance switched, ran our credit, and then had the audacity to demand an additional $3,000 down payment. This review is for the service department - Very hard to get a hold of them, they are not very responsive to say the least. If you need something quick or help with a "small" job, I guess they see you as a grade d customer. I wanted to get a quote for a part I needed for my RV, they are authorized dealers, I sent them an email and called twice and I still didn't got anything from them - it's been almost 3 weeks and they still can't tell me the price - what a joke! read more

I recently purchased a travel trailer from Camping World in Las Vegas (I'm from California), and the experience has been extremely disappointing. During the sales process, the salesman pushed the "Go Camping" package, originally quoted at $2,000. Having shopped at other Camping Worlds, I knew there was wiggle room and negotiated it down to $500. At no point was I told that by negotiating the price, I would be losing key items from the package. I was assured this would help us be ready to camp right off the lot. On the day of pickup, I called ahead and confirmed my 4:00 p.m. arrival. When I arrived, the service was terrible. Staff acted as if they didn't want to do a walkthrough -- which is especially concerning since we are first-time RV buyers with no prior experience. Only after pushing did we get a quick, rushed walkthrough from a technician. When I asked about the "Go Camping" package, Sales Manager Jim (who had an extremely dry, non-concerning personality and offered terrible customer service) dismissed my concerns, handed me a few random items, and told me I wasn't entitled to the rest because I'd negotiated the price. This meant I was denied important essentials like a second battery -- something crucial for safe and comfortable camping. The items I did receive weren't even close in value to $500, and Jim acted like he was doing me a favor. I later followed up with my salesman asking again about the missing second battery, and I received no response at all. The way this dealership treats you after the sale is a complete 180 from the promises made before. The lack of transparency, misleading package terms, and the disrespectful treatment at pickup left us with regret and frustration instead of excitement about our first travel trailer. I cannot recommend this location. If you value honesty, fair treatment, and proper support as a customer, look elsewhere. I went today to pickup an RV that I was going to purchase at the Las Vegas location. When I arrived to the scheduled appointment I was told something was broke on it and told me it would take a while to get it repaired. Nobody apologized for the issue. Beware!! These people really give the industry a bad name by agreeing on a sales price on an RV only to see them add 2,000 extra for having a mechanic "inspect" the vehicle! It just arrived from the factory!!!! Then they charge another 700 or 800 for a "document fee". If you are looking to do some RVing, you will have a blast, but beware of certain Dealerships. FYI, I was at a dealership in Vegas (not Camping World) and the mechanic told me that EVERY dealership inspects RVs when they arrive from a manufacturer...it takes one guy about 2 hours. He said it really angers him that Camping World does this to people. But we both agree that thanks to Yelp, people can warn others and share their experiences. read more

This place seems to handle repairs for a multitude of RV owners so obviously there will be some who have been satisfied with them. I have not looked at other reviews so do not know what their reputation is. I purchased a motorhome from a friend of mine. He purchased it new and had all work performed at Camping World for twelve years. One week prior to me buying it, he had it gone through by them to ensure there were no issues to take care of before I got it. Several days later after parking it at home, the main slide would not open. I called and brought it in the same day, Feb. 2, 2025. A couple of days later I was informed that the slide topper was not unrolling and the entire unit needed to be replaced. This is not a part covered under my warranty, which I was aware of. The cost was estimated at $1900 and change. I asked how long it would take and was told he would get back to me. A week later I called to ask about it. He said the part is not in stock and actually has to be made so it would take about 10-15 days to ship. He said I could take the RV home and bring it back if I wanted to but it didn't make sense at the time. Can't open the slide, can't use it. So I waited 15 days and (having not been updated) called to ask about it. He said to let him look into it and he would call me back, which he did. He informed me the part had come in damaged and was sent back and re-ordered. So another 10-15 business days to get it. It finally came in and was repaired. I was called to come pick up the unit on April 24th! Almost three months sitting there. I went to pick it up and made sure to operate the slides before leaving. Wouldn't you know, the other slide was inoperable. So, I had to leave it there with them again. Also note: during the time the unit was on their lot, it was hit about a dozen times with paintballs from the paintball course next door. This is apparently a common occurrence based on his demeanor when I mentioned it. They cleaned it off. So now we received the same rotten communication, same excuses as the why it's taking so long (all Winnebago's fault apparently). This new issue was the slide lock mechanism. I finally got it back nearly six full months after dropping it off. It was not cleaned prior to picking it up. If we wanted it washed, we would have to wait a couple of weeks. The slide topper still had the old topper material. We were under the impression that the entire mechanism would include new fabric as well but it did not. Had I known this, I would have instructed them to replace it while doing the repair instead of keeping the 12 year old material on it. While the unit was there, we received many mailings from Camping World showcasing their discounts for repairs and purchases. We did not get a discount (up to 30% per their ads) for the non-warranty work we had done. In total we spent nearly $2500 and waited six months, paying for insurance and extended warranty coverages without use of the RV. I inderstand things happen that are out of someone's control however, the lack of communication and no apparent attempt to expedite these repairs is too much for me. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. That being said, choices are apparently limited but I will shop around. If you choose them for your needs, I hope your experience is not like mine was. read more

The entire staff treated us like family, including our two Dalmatians. They insisted we bring them in out of the heat and fired over them. They had the part we needed and loaned us a tool we needed to replace it. We couldn't have been treated any better Thank you read more

We placed a 500$ holding fee on a camper on Friday 5/1 so that it would not be sold before we made the 2 hour drive to view it. Over the weekend we reviewed the numbers and decided on not moving forward with the camper (long story short as there was several shady processes with camping world that made us choose to not do business with them) we attempted to cancel the payment on 5/4 and were told we had to call back 5/5 when the sales rep we worked with was there. 5/5 we called to withdraw our interest and request the refundable 500$ we placed on the camper to which the sales man was RUDE and essentially told us we'd get the refund in a few days and we could figure the rest out ourselves and hung up on us. NOW I have reached out numerous times via phone and email for the refund to which they have stated "they didn't run my card it's just a pre auth" and that "they don't see the transaction to issue the refund" all of which is not true because I have the charge posted for over a week reference number of the charge etc and they have STILL not issued the refund. Now I've disputed the charge but still have to wait because this company is not doing ethical business processes. read more

This place does not care about their customers. I highly suggest you stay away and save yourself from the constant nightmare that is called Camping World. The service department at this location and, as reviews show, at locations across the country, is subpar. Quality of work is mediocre and lack-there of care for customers property very clear. I had a warranty replacement of my refrigerator in my 5th wheel. I dropped my trailer off last Saturday letting them know due to my schedule i could not come back till the following Saturday (today). They called me on Wednesday confirming the work was done, noting that I will still be back to pick up on Saturday around noon. I ended up coming in early to get it, Ed gave me the service documents without walking me through the unit to ensure the work was completed and operating. He asked if I saw my trailer, I said yes, and he told me I could go grab it. When I dropped off my trailer I had two brand new batteries that I just had installed within the last month. The batters have never even ran on their own without being hooked up to power yet until I dropped my unit at camping world. When I tried to operate my jacks to set my trailer on my truck they were completely dead. This is very common and no matter how many times you tell the service department about the issue the fail time and time again to correct it on the next visit. Ed told me it's not a big deal it'll charge when I hook it up to my truck and drive. Well Ed, how am I supposed to set the trailer on my truck if I cannot operate the jacks? Using generator power? The same generator that uses the battery you let die to be able to turn over? Not only is there a lack there of customer care but clearly they also they do not care about the damaged caused to the batteries health but allowing it to drain all the way. Don't worry! Parts will sell you a new set so they can start the cycle over again! read more

Our Motorhome was on their property for months "waiting on parts". Very little communication regarding when it was going to get fixed. We had to call them repeatedly to get updates. We had to cancel a trip. When we did get our unit back. Our tow bar was missing. At no time did we express anger or show aggression we simply inquired what happens now this is missing. We received an email from the manager of the service department that was somewhat aggressive. He stated that it is clear in the service contract that they are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Okay noted but then he continued to go on about their security and cameras again just really expressed aggression towards us for daring to question where our tow bar went? It was there months ago when dropped off. Now it's gone. And camping world not only doesn't care they let you know that you as a customer is not wanted or needed. read more
