We left that day and returned with a deposit to hold the camper and start the buying process a few days later. Unfortunately, we were not able to close the deal. When I asked about our deposit being returned, I was told 7-10 business days. Ok, no big deal. One week, two weeks...a month goes by and nothing. I called to speak to someone and was directed to Zack. I spoke to Zack and was told that the request had been sent to corporate, but being that it was Saturday, he would have to wait until Monday to call and see what information he could find out for me and that he would return my call that following Monday. Again, no big deal. I received no call. Another 3 weeks go by....nothing. I called again on 7/1/26 to speak to Zack, he wasn't in. I was directed to Dan and once again explained the situation. I was told that since Zack wasn't in, he would have to wait to speak to Zack when he got in later that day, and that either he or Zack would get back to me that afternoon. Again, no one called, emailed, or left me a voicemail. Being that it has been two months now with no communication from Forest River as to where our deposit is, I felt that I had to leave a review to warn other potential customers. I have been nothing but incredibly patient throughout this whole process. I have called twice in two months. Unfortunately, Forest River lacks in their communication skills and customer service. I guess since our deal didn't go through, we are not as important as any other customer and don't deserve the same respect. Beware of leaving deposits....you may have to fight tooth and nail to get your REFUNDABLE deposit back, IF you ever get it back.

1 STAR -- Management showed zero compassion or common sense…read more This is specifically about MANAGEMENT, not the tow truck driver. A friend was receiving a medically necessary in-home infusion when her visiting nurse's vehicle was hooked for towing. Yes, the nurse was parked somewhere she technically should not have been. There were no available spaces near the home, and the alternative parking is roughly 700-1,000+ feet away depending on availability. For a visiting nurse carrying medications, sterile supplies, infusion equipment, and emergency supplies into a patient's home, that is a significant distance. This wasn't someone parking illegally because she didn't feel like walking. She was there providing medical care. She was not parked in front of anyone's driveway, not in front of a hydrant, not in a fire zone. Just not in a HOA spot as there were none. While the nurse was actively administering the infusion -- gloves on, medication open, needles placed, and the patient in the middle of being connected -- B&C hooked up her vehicle. The nurse explained the situation and asked for a few minutes to safely finish what she was doing. The driver understood and was willing to wait. He showed compassion and common sense, knowing this was not just someone not following the rules Then his supervisor called and told him he had already been at the location too long and needed to leave. That is where my problem with this company begins. Management was made aware that this was a healthcare professional in the middle of actively treating a medically vulnerable patient. They knew the driver was willing to wait a few minutes. Instead of allowing him to use basic human judgment, management pressured him to move the vehicle. The Police ultimately had to become involved -- not because we wanted the driver in trouble, which we made known, but because he was being put in the position of either towing a nurse's vehicle during active patient care or potentially getting in trouble with his employer for showing compassion. Despite everything, the nurse still had to pay a $125 drop fee. Which is absolutely absurd and disgusting And that says everything I need to know about this company's management, rude, full of themselves, and no human decency. What would have happened if nobody noticed the vehicle being towed? What if the nurse needed to run outside for additional medication, rescue medication, sterile supplies, or emergency equipment and discovered her vehicle was gone? There are situations where human judgment needs to matter more than collecting a fee. The driver showed humanity. Management chose the money. If you are an HOA, apartment complex, business, or property manager considering hiring B&C Services Towing & Hauling to patrol your property, I would seriously consider whether this is the type of judgment you want exercised while representing your community. A towing company isn't just removing vehicles. Their actions reflect on the communities and businesses that hire them. Based on how management handled this situation, I would never recommend this company.

Im a new mom and thats so much money for me to lose. Even after calling and talking with a manager and explaining the situation, they didn't care at all. Also, theyre involved in a court case with a neighbor of mine for towing their brand new camaro and destroying the front of his car during the illegal tow. They are sneaky and soulless and clearly do a crappy job at towing.

Called more than a dozen RV dealers and repair centers and all could take me in for repair or the time to first available date was at least three months before or more before I could get a service date. No surprise it's spring and the RVer has been waiting all winter to get out there. We are full timers so a timely repair was Essential. Stoltzfus could give give a date six weeks out from when I called. I took it based on reviews from several sources. I arrived on the agreed date and time at Stoltzfus RV went to the receptionist. She effectively pulled up our appointment and handed us off the service advisor. We went over the problem, explained in detail my findings. The service advisor explained the up from Costs, their is a $150 trouble shooting fee that is then applied to the bill when the work is complete. I was told the repair would take one to two weeks. The RV went into the shop on Thursday. Friday afternoon I got a call with the trouble shooting and costs. All of that was clear and the advisor made it easy to understand and answered all my questions. The following Thursday I received a call from stoltzfus that the RV was ready to go so I arranged a pickup the next day. I have run the refrigerator through its operations the past week or so to be sure that it would perform perfectly before heading out on our summer run. Every one at Stoltzfus was courteous, respectful, and helpful. Even the guys working the yard would check if I had ever I needed. Ok bottom line on service 5 star.

As I was waiting for it to be done my rep and the mechanic come out and tell me I need brakes and if I wanted them to do it. I had hardly used the RV and the mechanic said that sometimes on GMC'S the brake controller is not right. Well I told them I would take it to my mechanic to have the brakes done. After I dropped the RV off at my mechanic ,they told me to come get it that I didn't need brakes . It was 3 or more years later that I needed brakes. Another incident : I had to have a new roof put on RV (over $10,000). About a year after it was done I went in for my forever warranty inspection and was told the roof needed new seals ($1200).How is this possible they just did the new roof less than a year ago. So, I had them redo seals on roof. Now less then a year later I am getting ready for a trip and my bed is wet. I go up on the roof and the seal on fan over my bed is severly cracked. Call General RV and let them know ( they only warranty seals for 3months). There answer was it was a rough year weather wise for seals. How about that for bullshit!!Every year must be a rough year for seal . It's either that or forbid I say maybe they don't know what they are doing at their work establishment. Needless to say I am going to let my forever warranty expire just so I don't have to deal with such incompetence and thievery. It a shame that we RVer's have to deal with companies like this. When I called to see if they have a replacement part I was given a song and a dance why I should get rid of the camper because they didn't sell Coleman campers anymore. Guess what that was about? The service team who showed us how to operate were awesome (and again Patient), even noting issues from the factory to address on our behalf and helping us unexpectedly deal with our own truck prep as it needed a brake controller installed when we thought we had one . Dan was an expert and very nonchalant about it like he could do it with his eyes closed...and probably could. Well, this weekend we were supposed to go camping but had a factory issue with the electrical Mike , the Service Manager got us in and fixed in a matter of hours (also fixing those factory issues noted initially because the parts came in) . For them to handle this on a Saturday, during the busiest part of their season speaks volumes. And again, everyone in the office was so welcoming and constantly try to feed you! There was no waiting on what the Mfr would say, they got us up and running and we didn't have to miss a work day to bring it there. If you're buying an RV , these are the people to go to, We traveled all over NJ and PA before we bought ours making sure the dealer was the right fit ,because with an RV, you need this more than with any vehicle and after 15 plus different dealers, Crossroads was it.
