    Overcast morning

Hey, don't be dissuaded by my review. If you're into camping or glamping, this is totally your jam. But I am not. Still 3 stars though because it was thoroughly okay. I survived one night and it exceeded my low expectations. Better than expected: -Hot water! Plenty of hot water. -Excellent shower pressure. -AC/heater worked well. You'll definitely need AC during the day when the sun is beating down on the bubble, and heat at night as it gets cold and there's negligible insulation. -Communication. We booked through AirBnB and they sent a lot of details and reminders leading up to the stay. -Wireless charging lamps on each nightstand. They also had color changing capabilities, but my lamp kept reverting back to blue no matter how hard I tried to keep them green. As expected: -Bugs. Spiders, gnats, and flies were all up in my biz. -Small space. -Bed was tolerably comfortable. Caved in the middle. -Dirty. It's in the middle of the vineyard. Everything in Valle is a bit dusty and dirty. -Limited amenities. No hair dryer, so if you plan to blow dry, bring your own. Some other things to note. -Free breakfast is included, but the kitchen didn't open on time, so we didn't get to partake. -No locks, so anyone can get into your bubble. We always felt safe though. Except our neighbor oddly/suspiciously was doing sit-ups in the dirt by the vineyard.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with some drinks. Everything was great inside our Bubble. I loved watching the stars from our bed at night and watching the birds fly over us in the morning while still in bed. Great customer service, especially Johnny and Toño and the chef who cooked a delicious themed Dia de Los Muertos dinner.

Good morning from inside the bubble

Glamping in a bubble in Valle de Guadalupe with views of the vineyard right there sounded super cool and enticing. I'm glad we were able to try it, though I'm not sure it's something I would look to book as my preferred lodging option. Booking through Airbnb was super easy and they sent very straightforward instructions throughout so that we were prepared. There was a gate where we checked in and got a tag for our cars and then we were walked over to our burbujas (aka bubbles). Each of the 2-person occupancy bubbles had an entry tunnel with a rack for hanging coats, a mini fridge with chilled wine glasses and wine opener, and a Nespresso machine. After entering that entry tunnel, you zip yourself in and then you can open the main bubble which actually felt quite spacious with a queen sized bed, two nightstands, and a footstool. In the next tunnel was the bathroom which had the weirdest but I guess most practical configuration of sink, toilet, and then shower. The air and heater worked great to keep us comfortable whether during the day or at night. The bed may not be a five star bed, but it's more comfortable than camping on the ground. What was hardest was showering because it was right next to the toilet, the space was tight, and water got everywhere. But thankfully there was hot water! We were unlucky that our stay was a foggy night, so we had no visibility for stargazing in our bubbles, but waking up to the vineyard view was definitely a treat.

My wife and I Love the place! We had a great experience at Campera's, the concept it's different- there is nothing similar at southern Cali, so we definitely going back & recommend this place. The customer service it's outstanding, the host Kenya she was very nice,& the 3 musketeers"Johnny,Bolo&tony take care us during the weekend, with the drinks & breakfast exquisite, very kind people and respectful overall the whole experience was amazing, stunning views, all around and the wineries & bars are like 20 minutes away ,very different room not the classic hotel room or resort that you have to get when you take the kids with you .quiet place to relax with your be loved we highly recommend it has a couple get away.

Something different, another way to sleep under the stars, private area with a private jacuzzi, so far the stay has been great

I love this place. It was surprise trip for my birthday gifted by my wonderful girlfriend. Very romantic, great food and amazing wine. We had a great time and it was truly an unforgettable experience. They are super friendly and accommodating because we had to reschedule the night we were going to stay. Its private so you do not have to worry about anyone peaking over at you. They cover it during the day for obvious reasons. Check out this place. you wont regret it.

I had an amazing, relaxing experience at this place. As. I will definitely be coming back.

I had an amazing, relaxing experience at this place. As soon as you approach the property, you are greeted by gated security, which gives you a sense of safety. We were then escorted to the breakfast, lunch and dinner area by the friendly staff I loved waking up to the sunrise, I will definitely be coming back.

It was our first time coming here. We were super excited to have this experience. I booked a few weeks before and the booking process went well. I got a few reminders and emails with instructions of everything. On the actual day we got there on time and the guy who was waiting for us was super friendly and polite. He showed us our bubble and explained everything to us. The bubble is a little bit tricky we have to open one door but close it before we open the next door otherwise the bubble would go down. We reserve the deluxe the one that has a jacuzzi. To be honest if you are going might as well get the one with the jacuzzi so you can enjoy the whole experience. The bubble is a dream!! Feels o amazing!! It's just too hot or too cold! Hard to handle the AC. There's a lot of little mosquitos the next day I woke up full of red dots lol. But everything was amazing! The jacuzzi was my favorite part of everything. They have a little restaurant bar and we had breakfast the next morning! Everything was fresh and delicious! Orange juice was super fresh! And the food very very good chef! The check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 11am I'll definitely come back again!!! It's a little bit pricy but worth it!!! We paid over 300 dollars for one night but we will do it again. It just sucks that it doesn't include a bottle of wine but we brought our own bottle. Overall everything was great! And we I'll repeat it soon!!! Without a doubt!! The drive is pretty messy so don't bring a Camaro or a sport car! Bring a truck if possible because the road is something else.

Campera was amazing!!!! Definitely coming back. We drove from LA. The staff from the gate to check in were super friendly and welcoming! Special shout out for Toño the waiter at their restaurant he was so sweet and his service was absolutely on point!!! Amazing experience

I was sooo excited to try this as soon as I read about it in an article! I was interested in staying in a bubble hotel when I seen the concept at Joshua Tree here in California. Difference is in Joshua Tree it was around 500 a night! There was no way I was going to pay that much to stay in a bubble LOL. But then I found an article about Guadalupe also having bubble hotels and I was ecstatic! Way cheaper and more luxurious! The bathroom amenities are inside the bubble in it's own private bubble room and it's soo adorable. The whole bubble feels luxurious for just being a bubble! The aesthetic is such a "tulum vibe". The hot tub didn't get too hot (it was cold at night so I figured) but it was clean and worth the extra money. The view of the vineyard is beautiful and makes you feel like you have your own in your very own backyard. Everything was clean and well managed, the bed was comfy and there was enough blankets and pillows. Along with enough towels, and the shower area was easy to use. Hot and cold water available ( I like my showers blazing hot and it did the job). The staff was sooo friendly. Kind and attentive, and so helpful. Check in and check out was so fast and easy, no problems at all. This was perfect for a romantic little getaway and I definitely reccomend it to any couple. There aren't any activities to do at the location but when you drive out of the area, there are many places to visit like casa frida, iggys barbecue etc. I myself chose to do ziplining at cuatro cuatros (30 mins away) and it was such an experience. Really took the whole trip to the next level. Thanks so much!

    Alma L.

From the moment you drive it, it's such a vibe! So beautiful, peaceful and with beautiful scenery! My husband and I had a wonderful experience! Customer service is excellent and the drinks at the bar restaurant are awesome! Staff is on site 24hrs and security guards are on site 24hrs as well. Making us feel extra safe and able to enjoy our stay with ease. We loved our stay. We will definitely be back soon!

The property itself was beautiful, grape vines everywhere, a beautiful pool/hot tub area and a fountain with a view of the valley in the background. The service was perfect, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. And not all the staff can speak perfect English, but it was easy to communicate with everyone, and I cannot express just how friendly every staff member was. This hotel had everything we needed. There are two restaurants on site, one that is open for breakfast/lunch, and closes around 5pm and another that is open for dinner and opens around 5-6pm. The dinner restaurant on site Aledano, is newer and the Chef is incredible, he came to speak with us and make recommendations and when I told him I was vegetarian he prepared the Orzo dish without meat and honestly, it was one of the best things I've ever tasted. There is also a beautiful winery on site with wonderful wine. Everything about this hotel is perfect. I would recommend it more for couples given how romantic is can be but would be great alone or with friends as well! I cannot wait to go back and visit!

The good: They offer most things a hotel/resort would, excellent dining, scenic views, valet transport, clean spaces. The bad: The terrain to drive and walk on is rough. To go to the pool/restaurant you will have a short walk through a dirt path which is not terrible but can be freezing in the evening. The only comfortable furniture in the loft will be the bed, otherwise everything else will be industrial wood and cast iron furniture. The shuttle drivers are the only reason they are not getting less of a rating. They were polite, helpful and timely. The front office staff, though nice, were not willing to help with much else. Overall, This is a stunning location for a short stay. Loved soaking in the sunset sitting next to a fire with a glass of cabernet. For the price, I truly believe it could be better! A full length mirror, comfortable seating in the rooms (the poolside furniture is great), better barking set up because its an unpaved rough ascent to the parking area. On my next trip to Valle, I would look for something with more of a homey/hotel feel as Encuentro is more of an experience.

It definitely feels like a special place that's more about relaxing and enjoying the wine country vibes than doing anything busy or fast-paced. The rooms are separate from each other, so it feels very private and quiet.. Perfect if you're looking to disconnect and have a calm weekend away... Our room was clean and had plenty of space... The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was roomy... They also have a refrigerator stocked with Their in house wine bottles you can choose from, which adds a fun touch... The property has a pool and spa area, but just keep in mind it's communal, there aren't private hot tubs or private spa setups in the rooms... Still, everything was well-maintained and relaxing... Pricing felt reasonable compared to other hotels in Valle, especially for how nice and comfortable everything was... One thing to note: Valle de Guadalupe is very spread out. This isn't a place to stay if you want nightlife or to be within walking distance of multiple wineries. You'll definitely need to drive to get around, and some of the roads are unpaved... The host was also extremely welcoming.. We arrived late after hours, and they were still available at the front desk, answered all our questions, and made us feel really comfortable... On the other hand, adding a small business such as this one will certainly bring more attention, which can ultimately weed me out when I want to frequent it. I took the high road, friends, Casa Emiliana is now another visible option for those of you visiting, Valle De Guadalupe. Though dotted with a slew of lodging options, Valle De Guadalupe can be tough to find a spot that is central and not completely secluded. If seclusion is what you want, Casa Emiliana is not for you. This bed and breakfast is right in the center of "town," on the main road, and exactly what I like. The wineries that provide lodging with long dusty dirt roads will provide you the isolated experience while this place is much more accessible - easy to get in, easy to get out. Cleanliness is a priority here and you'll instantly see that they didn't skimp on construction costs here. Our room was huge and though billed as a bed and breakfast we felt that this was certainly much more of a small hotel. Seven rooms, all separated and private, beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds, and a massive layout. The only downfall, no television in the room. Some may appreciated the lack of connection to the outside world but I did miss the TV. Here is the best part... rent all seven rooms and you basically have the entire place to yourself. We were fortunate enough to have all seven rooms and set up a nice bonfire with balloons, wine, Tequila, and snacks after a long day at the wineries and dinner. The worst part... in Mexico the roosters are the real deal and our neighbor happened to have one that woke up particularly early and let us know. 3:30 am wake up call?! No thanks! Not Casa Emiliana's fault but really, really, REALLY annoying. Oh, the pan dulce in the morning is the best I've ever had. So, don't go here, I'll hate you forever if I can't get a reservation.
