I was also worried about going just any where, because I am female - though with a fairly extensive automotive background, I like to do without the hassle of sleazy grease monkeys who try to take advantage of unsuspecting women. That being said, I read some reviews and took a chance! Before I clicked "order", I called to inquire about a few of the installation charges and to get a feel for the process going forward. I spoke to the owner of Export Tire and he confirmed my inquiries, even offering to price out the same tires at his cost, in the event he would be able to save me even more money. When he realized my pricing was better, not one single word was mentioned about trying to undercut or sell me a different or cheaper tire. What a relief! When speaking with him, I asked if I would need to schedule an appointment once the tires were delivered - he said "no way, you're welcome to stop in at any time. We will get you right in, even if I have to do it myself." Color me impressed! As soon as the tires were delivered, I received a confirmation call from the shop. I know this was instant, because I had an email confirmation as well. I told them when I would be by, and again they assured me it would be fine. I asked how long it might take them, and they told me it would be about 20 minutes or so. When I arrived, they took my car right in (as promised). I sat in the waiting room for about 30-35 minutes, but only because I had a tire light on, and they were trying to erase the code before they sent me on my way. Not a problem at all. I also inquired about the use of Nitrogen instead of air, because I saw they were offering a deal on it. I believe it was the owner I spoke with again, and he said that it wouldn't make too much of a difference - not to waste my money. (Although, admittedly, he said he did not have it at that point). I also asked him for my tires to dispose of myself, which saved me a few dollars as well. He didn't argue or question my request, and they even bagged them as not to dirty the interior of my car. All in all, this shop - the owner - the technicians - the process from purchase to install was 5 star all the way! Don't hesitate to take your vehicle here! These guys rock! Thanks, y'all.

The bad: There is one single landline phone number, and it's like the one your grandparents have. No call waiting, no option to leave a voicemail if it's busy, just a line with a phone plugged into it. I was not surprised to find a solid 5-star rating (elsewhere online) from other reviewers. Ray…read moreMcCloy is the most knowledgeable, honest, down-to-earth tire installer I ever met. I've been driving for 40 years, which means I bought more tires than I care to remember. I thought I knew a lot, but Ray put me in my place. Where do I start? First, I was watching the technician, Matt, install a tire new tire on another customer's rim. I watched him carefully wire-wheel the beads on the rims AND apply bead sealant. Who does that? When I asked Ray if that was something additional, he was quick to point out he does ALL installations that way. He does not want customers returning with avoidable problems. Since I took interest in the process, Ray began asking how much I knew about tire installation. I had no idea the yellow dot on a tire is meant for alignment with the valve stem when mounting a tire. I had no idea installing raised white letters or whitewalls on the INSIDE made the rim more difficult (often requires more weights) to properly balance. There were more lessons and demonstrations, but I don't want to lose more readers than necessary. So my tires showed up less than 24 hours after my initial visit. I rolled in and watched Ray and Matt go to work (i.e., they don't usher you off to a waiting area where you can't see what they're doing). Matt mounted the tires and Ray balanced them. Ray did not like the results on one of my rims during balancing, so he sent it back to Matt to rotate the tire on the rim 180 degrees. Again...who does that? Most places would just load the rim up with more weights, but not Ray! (Disclaimer: My tires did not have the yellow dots on them for valve stem alignment, which is not uncommon. So getting it correct the first time must be a crap shoot). Anyway, Matt rotated it, and the wheel balanced perfectly. Finally, the price. I purchased tires online before, but the best price I found for the tires I bought directly from Ray was $150.00 each. At McCloy's I paid $150.00 (plus tax) for each one OUT THE DOOR! That included mounting, balancing and disposal. Then Ray tells me to stop by anytime for tire rotation, which he recommends every 3,000 miles because of the great roads in the area. He also mentioned the wear on my front tires could be from any of a number of things, including my driving traits, and recommended an alignment check. I'm taking his advice on all fronts. I scheduled an appointment with another reputable local business at Paul's Front End Shop (search reviews elsewhere online for Paul's too - they are equally impressive!). My first time at McCloy's, but I am a customer for life!

Background: I recently purchased a brand‑new 2025 vehicle and discovered a factory defect on all…read morefour tires when I went to the dealership for service. After jumping through a lot of hoops trying to figure out the warranty process, I finally got a claim approved and went to a different authorized dealer to have it handled. That place refused to provide any documentation that the tires were safe, even though they insisted the bubbling was "normal" from factory banding, and in the same breath told me my claim was approved. The whole experience turned into hours of sleazy sales tactics and a quote that was higher than simply buying the exact same tires elsewhere. I already knew the pricing because I had been looking around. By the time I reached Fuzzy Simon Tire Service, I was frustrated and unsure who to trust. Fuzzy's was a completely different experience from the moment I spoke with them. They didn't rush me, dismiss me, or talk in circles. They actually listened, to the full story, the warranty details, and my concerns about safety. They inspected the tires themselves and immediately confirmed what no one else would say out loud, even though the defect had already been identified at the dealership: the bubbling on all four tires was not normal, not safe, and absolutely not something I should be driving on. What stood out most was their honesty. They didn't try to upsell me, scare me, or push me into anything. They simply told the truth, explained the defect clearly, and treated me with respect. They also went above and beyond on the warranty side. Instead of making excuses or putting the burden back on me, they contacted Goodyear directly, verified the claim, and handled all the legwork. No hassle, no pressure, no back‑and‑forth, just real help. They didn't have the tires in stock, but they found a store that did, ordered them immediately, and kept the process moving without delay. Their professionalism, transparency, and genuine care were on a completely different level. After the runaround I had been through, it meant so much to finally be taken seriously and to have someone prioritize my safety over a sale. Fuzzy's is absolutely a place you can trust. They do things the right way, they treat people with integrity, and they go above and beyond when it matters. I'm incredibly grateful for how they handled everything, and I won't take my car anywhere else.
