The quote they put together was even more of a farce. $3000 for tires and a control arm. The best part, they couldn't even find tires that matched my existing Michelins and I'm running 17s." They also wanted $800 for a hose, what a joke! Well even the stealership gives you better service than this and they at least have courtesy vehicles and nice coffee. Stay far, far away from this pack of thieves! Also, and this is very important, they adjusted my seat and steering wheel while in possession of my car. That's like groping a man's wife.... I called Ed at Auto Critic of Western PA, and he was friendly and responsive. The price was, I thought, extraordinarily low, and, as soon as I gave the all clear, he went (on a Saturday, even) out to the dealer to test drive and evaluate the car. I was able to use his report to get the dealer to do some repairs. The process with him was easy and fast. What more could you want?

He was incredibly responsive and said he could get an inspection done within 48 hours. He got it done the next day. The inspection was extremely thorough. In addition to providing a written report, he summarized his report over the phone and took me through the few things he found. His price is less than the national chains charge and he provides a better product. I would recommend him extremely highly to anyone buying a used car.

I live on the opposite coast and was buying an antique car located in PA. I contacted PPI and after…read morea phone conversation decided to use their service to inspect the car. They did a fantastic job and saved me a ton of money and one HUGE headache. There were issues, with the car being 65 years old and original, but nothing unexpectedly wrong with the car. However the paperwork was screwed up, no one saw it, not the dealer and not me. Had it shipped to California with that paperwork it is likely I could never have registered the car in this state or if I could it would have cost a lot of time and money to do so. Because I used PPI the paperwork mistake was found before shipment and is being fixed by the dealer. Once I receive the corrected paperwork and the car I should have no troubles. PPI did an excellent job taking numerous photographs as well as checking and documenting everything and follow up conversation discussing all the issues and findings. Had I have gone to a nationally known brand it would have cost more and I doubt I could have gotten better or more professional and personalized service. PPI is a great value for the money. Thank you, PPI
