This is a very nice and peaceful establishment. I am new to the area and had promised myself I would stop by for my next manicure and pedicure. On Wednesday, the place was empty, which was perfect--no one wants to spend hours in a nail salon! I was greeted immediately and offered a beverage. The lady who appears to be the owner is very nice, and I noticed that one other person came in just as I was finishing up, so she does accept appointments. I have been getting pedicures and manicures with Thuy for the past couple of years. Not only is she a lovely person but she is very meticulous and always does a wonderful job on my nails! Firstly, I'd like to say Thuy (current owner) is fabulous and so lovely. I think the older, negative reviews are from a previous owner of the business, but if you look at the trend, Thuy has only positive feedback. I love that she's a female business owner and I 100% support that. That said, I was visiting Houston to take care of some business, and found this quiet oasis. It's so peaceful inside, clean and Thuy provides personalised service that is increasingly rare these days. She was very accommodating and kind. I had one of her facials which was incredibly affordable, relaxing and so worth it! In NY you can get a simple facial for $150 and with add-ons it's ridiculous. Her facial was nothing less than amazing with a scalp massage (!) and under $80! I will be back for more services when I return to Houston! Thank you for everything . read more

Just moved to Houston and picked this place based on google reviews and pedicure options. Ended up with a special herbal tea tree pedicure, eyebrow wax and massage. The pedicure was awesome - I routinely get pedicures done and I've never felt my legs or feet to be as soft as they were at this place. The mask put on my legs was so smooth and the hot stone massage was perfect. Eyebrow wax was painless and looked good. But the massage... omg. Best I've ever had to be honest. She somehow did a head to foot massage in an hour without it feeling like anything was rushed or missed and she really got into the muscles. Definitely found my go to. read more

Wow, this place has really changed for the better! I haven't been here in more over a year. Since I seen this place was under new management, I decided to give it another go since it's close to my job. Boy, was this one of the best decisions I've made! This place is MUCH cleaner now, and they have SOO many colors to choose from. I was indecisive, haha! Thuy and Oanh were so courteous throughout my whole visit and offered me COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS with my service! Of course they have wine, orange juice, and cola! To top off my visit I enjoyed a Swedish massage after a long day of work! This was by far one of the best nail shops that I've been to! This will continue to be my go-to nail salon. First and last time I ever use the salon I work in the area I had broken a nail and I ran over there to get one put on , a pink and white solar the lady was not very polite I guess because I wasn't getting a full set. She did a horrible job I could've done better myself!! It was like she never even done nails before I was so disappointed. Had an appointment with my mom at 2, noticed when we got in there they were short on staff so asked if they would still be able to take us both and be done before 3-the lady assured me they would. By 2:45 they hadn't even gotten to my mom yet so she picked up her stuff and left. When I told the lady I was upset, she tried to tell me that I called too late? I called to make an appointment for us first thing in the morning, at 9am right when they opened. How is that calling too late? Then she said something under her breath and when I asked her what she said she just smiled and giggled. At that point I could not wait to get out of there! We are very disappointed considering we had been looking for a new nail salon in the area and thought this one would be it, however we will NOT be going back anytime soon! read more

Where do I even begin... first of all. This place had maybe 10 different color options that were all as old as my grandmother( she just turned 99 btw). I had to pick 3 different colors because each one was painted on clumpy. When I told the woman nicely that it doesn't look good, she refused to admit how awful it looked and proceeded to paint the green color that looked like puke onto my fingers because that was the only color option that was not clumpy in her eyes. ** note the attached photo** additionally, they don't know how to file nails. Each nail is a different shape. How trendy! Not!!!! Lastly, there is paint all over my fingers. Not even on the nail, but the skin. Alright. I'm done. So far my favorite! $30 for both manicure and pedicure. The ladies are friendly. Greeted me as soon as I came in and was able to sit down in 5 minutes. Seemed like a lot of regulars and people from the surrounding neighborhoods came. Place is clean. 7 pedi chairs and 5 mani chairs. The pedi/mani services were so much more than just basic services. They spent a good 10-15 minutes on each foot/hand! The strip center it is in is not the nicest. But the service is def worth it. I will definitely be back again. read more

I have been here a number of times and have never had a friendly person. Today was the last straw. Asked me to come back in an hour. I came back. 2 new people in their mani:pedi chairs. Told me to leave and come back in 30. Are you kidding me? There are about 4 other nail salons in the area and you send me packing twice? It is unfortunate for me to give this business 1 star. I truly believe that they do not possess any customer service skills. The amount of time they spent on their phones and tablets made me wonder if they are actually a call center rather than a nail salon. I walked in and there was no one at the reception area. All the ladies were at their stations on the phone or watching stuff on their tablets. It was as if I was interrupting them at 2:30pm. One lady finally shouted from her station at the back "what do you want?", I was taken by surprise. I let that slide and told her that I wanted a mani-pedi. She asked me the same question again, I had to ask if this was not a nail spa again? They pointed me to a station and continued on their phones. Note: I was the only customer so at least some attention should not have been hard to give. I told them that I was in a rush and at least expected 2 ladies, 1 for manicure and the other for pedicure. But I was informed it had to be 1 lady while the other 3 continued with the tech gadgets. I had to raise my voice that it was unacceptable. Finally another lady came up to work. And the first thing I was asked was to pay upfront before the manicure started.... I cannot write anymore. The pedicure lady finally stopped talking on her phone to attend fully to me...In summary, it was a very sad experience. I do not wish them any bad thing or bear any ill will towards them, but if they do not change, they will not last long in the services business. Service was spectacular! I am very particular about how my nails are done; not too short and not too long, cuticle cleaned and trimmed a certain way, and the nails have to be shaped a certain way as well. Very few places are able to meet my requests, although pretty simple, but Campbell Nails has been able to accomplish this. The technicians are friendly and accommodating. DO NOT GO HERE! What an awful place. My sister-in-law and I came here for their spa pedicure. There was no wait time, so we sat in our chairs at the same time. However, whenever anyone new came into the salon, they would stop working on my sister-in-law, and work on the new person (these people did not have appointments). She sat there with hot (now cold) towels on her legs for 30 minutes while the ladies just ignored her. When we expressed our displeasure, one of the aestheticians rudely said "Sometimes, when you go to the doctor, you have to wait." We were appalled. 2 HOURS later, we finally left.
