I spent a Saturday morning there with a wonderful group of ladies, ranging in age from our 40s to 80s, and with crafting skills spanning from "I've got this" to "help me, please." The staff? Top-notch. Seriously. They were like crafting superheroes--swooping in with paint suggestions and design tips and even taking over when my creative stress levels hit their peak. And they did it all with a smile and words of encouragement. The store itself is a crafter's paradise. If you can dream it, you can probably make it here--flowers, bows, 3D words, endless embellishments. Me? I had my heart set on a Husker door hanger (because, well, priorities), and I pulled it off with the staff's help! We were there for about 2.5 hours and had a reservation for our group of six, which I'd recommend because this place was hopping. My masterpiece set me back $48.18, and I happily tossed a $5 tip in the jar--honestly, I wish I'd had more cash because the staff was that helpful. I spotted a few other projects I'd love to try... once my art anxiety settles and I start believing in my crafting abilities again. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to make the $15 per kid pass worth it. I asked if they had hourly rates, or introductory pricing to see if they liked it and they didn't. I would have preferred to check it out before the investment. From the looks of it it looks like a massive indoor playplace. I would love to come back. They have memberships and I think if you have 5 and under kids this would be worth the price, but with my school age kids we would not take advantage enough. It is definitely something needed in this area of town.

I love the treadmills here, they have different videos you can program them to and it makes it seem like you are running through Australia, New Zealand, or somewhere in Europe. It helps keep my mind occupied when I'm running longer distances. I also like the large locker rooms that are kept clean throughout the day. I've also used the free weights and bosu here and I like that they offer these here. I do wish there was a designated area to stretch out before and after workouts. Another thing I wish that they would enforce more would be mask wearing for visitors. It is still risky being exposed to people especially while working out and we are breathing more. I am happy to have an opportunity to still workout during this time and I'm glad that the YMCA is doing what they can to accommodate people as well.

We tried out and…read moresigned up our son under the premise that all in we would be paying $1,500 and that his fall sport would not be a problem as they wanted a hard start for January. Fast forward to the first parent meeting and we are being told that it is now $2,500. Big jump. We also had to sit and listen to the coach bad mouth former players, parents and other coaches in the organization. He also tried to make the parents feel terrible when his disorganized schedule did not work for team outings. I did not like the way that this coach handled anything and did not want to find out what the season would be like. I made contact with the owner, Dan Tinnell and he made comment about how he knew they had an issue with this coach and that the team last year split off from him because of the disorganization. I also spoke with the general manager and another coach that took over for the disorganized coach. They also had nothing good to say about him. They tried to get us on another team, but we told them that we could not stand behind an organization that would allow a coach like that on their staff. When I asked for my $400 back, they denied me without really even addressing the problem that they have. The owner also tried to call me a liar about what he said to me about the coach. Said that we left the team in a lurch, when that is not true, they did not have a full team with our son playing. We were in their facility twice, once for a try out and the other for the awful parent meeting. Nothing was ordered for our child for uniforms, they just got free money. There are a lot of other organizations out there, I would take your money elsewhere.
