Decent tasting food. Fairly priced being this is a hotel restaurant. Service staff was friendly, but was very short staffed and could not keep up with the amount of few people that were in. The food was actually well created and the prices were pretty good. We definitely have leftovers for the next day. The ambience is still a little sterile but if you don't wanna head out in town definitely worth it. Waitress veronica was very nice and we took care of us. read more

I'm with Mike's previous review. Normal hotel bar/restaurant. My first visit I just came in to look around. Sat at the bar and was pleased to see they have six local beers on tap. Breweries right down the road actually! Nice to travel for work and taste something local when you can. Bartender was extremely pleasant and we had some good conversation before more people came in to eat. He continued to check up on me and take table orders. Expedite food and check with the kitchen. I give him a five star and the bar experience a four star. Second visit just had breakfast. It's seat yourself and my food came quickly. Also knew what I wanted and told my server immediately after sitting down. Been to other Holiday Inns with a larger breakfast menu. Picked a healthier veggie option but don't think it was worth the $9 tag. Still if you are on vacation and with children this is a solid easy option. Chinese nearby and Pizza Hut walkable. Otherwise drive. Staff is nice enough. Just never felt they wowed apart from my first visit. read more

Went for supper on Christmas Eve and received on of the most disappointing meals of 2020. The $25 ribeye didn't even warrant calling it a steak. It was primarily the fat cap off the cut. A decent chef would never have served that cut. The "mashed potatoes" tasted like instant potatoes and they weren't even that warm. Served with no gravy or butter. Vegetables we primarily cauliflower and carrots. Again, cold. Save yourself from a Hugh disappointment, go somewhere else. read more

So we have eaten here for the past two days. Considering this is a hotel restaurant, the food is surprisingly good! We had the jambalaya pasta and Reuben sandwich. Both were seasoned and cooked well. The devil cheese fries are excellent! The jambalaya had large shrimp and good seasoning. A good place to eat! read more

We came here to eat and the server was clueless. He would disappear with only two tables. Our drinks were empty all night. I had to tell him we needed to refill our empty drinks. Next, our table of 10 turned to a table of 12. He never moved a fourth table for our two extra guests, I had to move the fourth table myself for our guests to be a part of our group. The reason why I'm giving this restaurant five stars is because if the bartender Hwee was awesome! Before and after dinner we sat at the bar for drinks and she turned our dining experience around. Our group is from Arizona and if we come back it will be because of her. She made us laugh the entire time and interacted with her guests. Service was prompt as well. read more

Skip this stop. A better choice would be Taco Bell, Wendy's, gas station snacks. Ordered chicken nachos, jalapeño poppers and a double cheeseburger. Hadn't eaten in a day, so I was eager for some good grub. Chicken nachos were pathetic. Nacho chips, cheap processed cheese and tiny pieces of chicken. All other toppings are served as a side, which isn't convenient when eating nachos. Poppers were of the cheap frozen variety with a side of ranch. Taste ok, but thought I may get a nice homemade version. Now the burger, ordered medium, came burnt. Toppings that were requested were given in a plastic grocery bag...inside the bag...packets of different sauces. Ordered extra cheese, received none. To be brutally honest, this was the worst burger I have ever had. Choose another place, any place, this is not worth a visit. read more

This place is a pretty standard hotel bar. It won't blow you away but it will feed you at that late hour when you don't want to walk anywhere. They offer some discounts to airline crew members as well. Overall, if you have the time, just walk down to the main drag in Little Rock, otherwise, get ready for some OKAY food downstairs. read more

Diane is the WORST server, host, employee I have ever come across! She EXTREMELY rude, no class or character and incredibly disrespectful. I've traveled to 12 countries, 30+ states, dealt with racist servers who still treat Ed me BETTER than this woman. She was rude when I called for room service, then hung up while I was still talking. When I went to the restaurant to talk, she walked away and talked over her shoulder, as if they were that busy and there were ONLY 3 tables with a total of 6 people in the whole restaurant. One was getting his ticket to checkout, another table JUST ordered, and the other party of 2 literally just sat down. I have always been of the mindset "If you don't like your job, quit" but don't take it out on others. You never know what people are dealing with, I'm here for my mother's funeral and this horrendous encounter definitely did not help. I got food poisoning from the steak nachos, I wouldn't suggest eating here. I had eaten breakfast here a few days ago without issue.

I recommend this place. I enjoyed the steak. Rib eye was great. Staff courteous. Bar open late.

There are hits. And then there are these...the restaurants that could be great, but lack ambition. Here at Camp David, the lunch buffet changes its theme on a daily. Today was Chef's Choice which turned out to be Southern comfort food. We tried the roasted chicken (well-seasoned but scrawny like a super model) and bbq ribs (slathered in red sauce) but passed on the meatloaf which at first glance looked like a deep-dish pasta. The chicken and ribs were tasty accompanied by mashed potatoes with brown gravy, niblet corn drowning in a hot tub of milky water, black-eyed peas with thick-cut bacon bits swimming in pea juice, and some BIG dinner rolls. The requisite salad bar was fresh and cold with an iceberg mix, cucumbers, croutons, etc. The only fresh fruit was thinly sliced pineapple rings that were cut into small pieces. Service was attnentive and pleasant. The restaurant and kitchen, which can be seen from the buffet line appeared neat and clean. The disappointment is that for a hotel billing itself as Presidential and a restaurant named Camp David, the food would be fit to be served to dignitaries. The desserts were a prime example. The cheesecake squares were off-the-shelf, the frosting sliding off a chocolate cake square reminiscent of Sara Lee, and the pecan pie lacked the sweet diabetic coma inducing goodness of the real thing. The style and decor of the hotel with pictures of some of the most powerful leaders of the century demand a resturant with a bold offering. Let's hope someone is paying attention. (And, that the First Lady who promotes healthy eating, doesn't come to visit.) read more

This is one of our go to spots on Sunday for the brunch buffet. Not too crowded. Great service. Good food. Not a big selection but for $14 it is a hit for us. The buffet has a salad bar, rolls, fried chicken, baked chicken, catfish, omelette station, bacon, french toast or waffles, and the best thing is the prime rib. There are several dessert options, as well. We like the cheesecake and chocolate cake. read more

Please do not get food poisoned here. The server did not comprehend or speak any English. My family and I were the only patrons there and the service still took long. My wife ordered the ribeye steak(medium well) and I orders the New York strip (medium well). After 30 minutes the steaks came out. My wife steak was seared with no seasoning what so ever and the inside was raw. My New York strip was seared with no seasoning and was cold as ICE!!! I cut into the inside and it was raw as well. This was the worst food service and food I ever had in my life!! I told the manger the food was not eatable and he excused the bill. I really wanted to talk to the chef who serve this food. He should be SHAME. Please stay FAR FAR away from this establishment. read more
