I'm constantly plagued with their ads on KMED, so when our roof needed a repair I thought I'd give…read morethem a call. "Call today, get an estimate tomorrow," right? Not so much. Called someone named Chester, no answer, no voicemail available. Later called someone named Steve (who I assume is the owner) - no answer, left a message, no return call. Next day, I received a text message from Chester, letting me know he missed a call from me. Called back, only to be told "the guys are coming back into town, they'll call you tomorrow." Of course, no call. Texted Chester to ask if anyone was going to call and to let him know that if they were too busy that was fine - just let me know and I'll move on. Response text had my phone number and "call her please." Have no idea what that meant. We've had a couple of outstanding experiences with contractors lately (which seems to be unusual around here) so I guess we're back to the norm. What a joke - I will be moving on.

A month ago, I asked Stephen for a roofing replacement. He could do this by satellite photography,…read morenot a site visit. I had three quotes for my 4100sq ft home and chose Westfall(he was not the lowest price), but he was a legitimate roofing contractor. After asking for samples and houses he had completed in Eagle Point so I could drive by and see their work, I got no help or response. He told me to go to his local supplier and look at the products. This was just a supplier, not a full showroom with samples. When it was determined I could not get an upgraded shingle in the color I preferred, I said I could stay with the current grey, but I would like samples to select from. Internet photos would not do for me. I accommodated a canceled appointment because of a family emergency and rearranged my schedule for the following day. One hour after the appointment time, I emailed to ask if he was still coming. He did not have the courtesy to call me directly but had his Dad call and say Westfall Roofing did not want to work for me. Since I had approved the price and was expected to pay almost $40,000 for this roof, I was totally shocked at the terrible customer service. I am 80 years old and have a handicap, so this was a very distressing experience.
