Now the crabs tasted pretty good as well as the shrimp...but these were suppose to be JUMBO! Now I've had jumbo and colossal blue crabs before and they were HUGE! These are best were maybe large because most were pretty heavy...but that doesn't mean they are jumbo. So I really didn't like that I paid 90/dz for what I thought would be huge and get home and see these tiny crabs. The owners were really nice and even provided me with some newspaper to eat my crab. But to say these are jumbo is dishonest. Especially when the price is up there in this economy.

The customer service was excellent, and the restaurant itself appeared clean, but unfortunately,…read morethat's where the positive part of my experience ended. The name "Maryland's Fresh Seafood" suggests statewide quality and, more importantly, seafood that is freshly prepared. Unfortunately, my food did not live up to that expectation. I ordered the lobster bisque and a fish platter with catfish, sweet potato fries, garlic green beans, and scallops. The scallops were dark in color and appeared as though they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. The catfish, which I specifically paid extra to upgrade, was dry, hard, and lacked the freshness I expected from a seafood restaurant. The lobster bisque was the biggest disappointment. It had an unusual, tangy taste and an extremely thick, cheese-like, marshmallow-gummy consistency. There was also very little lobster meat in the soup. Because the taste and appearance were concerning, especially with seafood, I ultimately decided not to risk eating it and threw the food away. I don't normally leave negative reviews, but spending $30 on food that I couldn't comfortably eat was extremely frustrating. To be fair, the customer service was excellent and the restaurant looked clean. Unfortunately, good service and a clean environment cannot make up for food quality this poor. I hope management takes this review seriously because the concept has potential, but the food I received was atrocious and nowhere near what I would consider fresh seafood.

The size matches the weight class and the meat is fresh and truly represents crab season ( crab lovers understand the difference fresh crabs makes ) And if you're more of a crab legs over crabs type person.... No problem, Homeboys got you covered. You can pick your own crab legs and they'll do the rest. Now make sure against all odds that you grab their crab sauce.... They hands down have the best crab sauce in the DMV area and beyond. It's absolutely impossible to find good crab sauce, but Homeboys have perfected the mix !!!!

Walking in, the big-screen menus and a slideshow of menu items had me wanting to try everything. The place was clean, and it was clear that employees are there to work. I had to hold back from ordering what my heart desired. I ordered lemon pepper wings and popcorn shrimp. While waiting, I noticed all the crab legs and fresh fish, and I found myself thinking, "Forget dinner plans--let's get a family feast!" The staff were very kind and patient, and they followed my request for extra crispy chicken. My only gripe was that I couldn't pay extra to get all flats. When our food arrived, we wasted no time digging in. The flavors were on point, and the popcorn shrimp exceeded my expectations. I was thoroughly pleased. Next time I'm visiting from Cali, this will be one of my first stops.

Fish is breaded with a flour like base instead of cornmeal. It was very lightly seasoned. The fish wasn't completely spit (butterfly style). Overall...it was just ok. I guess if I have a really bad craving for fish and can't get to anywhere else this place would be sufficient. Greens were clearly from the can. No extra seasoning at all. Wasn't my style so I wouldn't order is again. French fries weren't good. Tasted a little old. No salt. Overall, I was happy to be cheerfully greeted but the food is lacking in quality. I really wanted to like this place and went with slightly high expectations only to find out that it was just so so. Maybe I'll try them again one day and when I do I will update my review.

The only major shock that I had was buying hot food and bringing it at home. The sticker shock on my food had me frozen and stalled for a moment then I got passed it. They have everything in the store just a variety is varieties of produce and cheese and meat which I don't eat. The breads are beautiful; I've spent more time standing in the aisle than I should have just looking over stuff. Do not go to the grocery store hungry that's a general statement for all grocery stores, but particularly Wegmans. I was walking down the aisles planning in my head how big a sandwich I can make or should I go to the deli bar and have them make the sandwich. There's so many products to choose from such as bread, condiments, cheese produce, and a vegetable even my faux meats. Wegmans has their own brand of plant base meats. I can take all of the ingredients home and build it as big as I want and as sloppy as I want. It was just too much to consider but I'm glad I encountered Wegmans. I'm gonna miss it when I go back to the West Coast. My suitcase will be full of Wegmans food instead of souvenirs from the various sites of the area.‍‍

Seeing as the restaurant wasn't crowded at all you would think that I would have gotten pipping hot food...nope...lukewarm at best For as long as it took me to get things last night you would have thought the restaurant was packed to capacity, nope The restaurant was clean and it is it as big as the Bowie location but we'll take it. So after leaving The ups store next door I decided to stop in. I walked in was greeted and it's a pretty decent size restaurant. I do like that on the outside they can open up the bar and you can sit. But I opted for sitting inside. The menu has quick a few options and I was there during happy hour which turned out to be good pricing. I was being a big back and ordered the charbroiled oysters that were on the happy hour menu and a nice size ribeye steak, broccolini, and Mac and cheese. And when I tell you everything was cooked to perfection it was so good! As the pictures show it was a large portion and I had a lot of leftovers for my lunch door work and then some. I will definitely come back and sit outside on their deck or bar area as the weather is getting nice.

This restaurant is not good…read more Out of stock food. We were the first people there on a Saturday at 11:00 on the dot. They did not have any croissants and they did not have any cocktail sauce (for the fried shrimp that they put on the seafood trip salad). Service was uneven. When we sat down, we asked for water and a carafe of mimosa. The mimosa came within four minutes. It took us another 15 minutes to get water at our table. The servers were very nice and friendly and professional. But maybe just new because they didn't seem to know to refill water glasses. I got their famous seafood dip as a starter. The chips were great. The sauce was not. As the cheese dip cooled, it developed a weird consistency. The flavor was off as well. Maybe it needed some seasoning salt and some pepper. The cheese flavor was odd and there was not enough spinach in it. The chicken wings were good. Good flavor (not spicy at all!!). Average sauce. Good dipping sauce on the side. The utensils were weird. It is strange to wrap actual silver utensils in a paper napkin instead of a cloth napkin. I did not like that. I also did not like that the side condiments came in plastic containers as opposed to small dishes, either porcelain or metal. The seafood trio salad was not good. The salmon and the crabcake tasted horrible. The shrimp was fried and I t needed more seasoning on the shrimp. The salmon had a mealy consistency to it and the flavor was bad as well. The crabcake was not good. Whatever was binding it together was also not good. The salad dressing was OK. There are figs or dates or some kind of dried fruit in the salad that I was not expecting because it was not on the menu. So be aware of that. This was a disappointing experience.

I skipped the coffee, but the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was actually really good. Fresh, hot, and flavorful. The business is located in a strip mall and the space is very small. It feels more like an event venue than a traditional restaurant. When I arrived, the staff appeared to be preparing a large catering order, which I later found out was for a local elementary school. I appreciated seeing them support teachers beyond just the in-store promotion. The decor was probably my least favorite part. The pink aesthetic and overall setup felt a little dated and cheesy to me, but I could still tell the place has its audience. It gives very grown and sexy vibes and seems geared more toward a mature crowd. Overall, I enjoyed the sandwich, appreciated the Teacher Appreciation Week gesture, and liked seeing a local business support educators in the community.

I recently had a very disappointing experience at this location involving both product availability…read moreand customer service. The store has been out of the Simply Nature coconut water case for quite a while, yet the $6.99 case price tag is still displayed. Since the boxed cases are unavailable, customers must purchase the individual bottles at $1.50 each. I asked if buying six individual bottles could be honored at the case price, which is a reasonable accommodation many stores make when only the packaging is missing. Instead of receiving a respectful explanation, the manager, Jazz, spoke to me in a raised tone, repeated the same incorrect information, and became visibly irritated when I asked for clarification. When I ultimately asked to remove the items from my purchase, he rolled his eyes and responded with frustration. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. After this incident, customer service reached out to me and assured me they would look into the matter. They made a point to calm the situation and promised follow‑up. However, every time I've reached out for an update, I've received no response. The lack of communication only adds to the disappointment. I understand supply issues happen, but the way this situation was handled--both in‑store and afterward--has caused me to lose confidence in the customer service at this location. I strongly recommend improved training for management and better follow‑through from customer service. Customers deserve clear communication and respectful treatment, even when the answer is "no."
