I forgot to take pictures...I'm sorry...I was so excited they were here!…read more Annnnd....I forgot! My bad I'll be back to buy some more awesome discs at a fantastic price! Okay, Short review. Superduper awesomeness in a store the size of my bathroom! I will be coming here for discs! Also, even if you don't need a disc, he has ice creams and water and all kinds of iced beverages...plus some hot stuff like coffee! Highly recommend! Maybe I'll meet you up here! ...cause I'll be back (frequently) Longer review... Decided today's PE class for the kids was going to be Dad related. So, Disc Golf time! Let's go for a three mile hike and throw stuff! I just, last night, found out that someone started a DG pro shop here, so, yup, PE for the day! He had a massive collection of discs! He also had some loners too! I thought that was super awesome! So I just started tossing money at him. Some bullet points... -He has some great prices on discs! -A HUGE selection of discs! -Tons of snacks and ice cold beverages (even if you aren't interested in Disc Golf) -Great customer service! -Knows quite a bit about discs! Thanks so much for being here! See you again soon! Keep it up!

The owners are incredibly nice and helpful with any issues or concerns. We were lucky enough to get to hang out with the two dogs who live on the property as well. They're sweet and adorable! Definitely make sure to follow the website's directions there and back, though. We got lost when we didn't. We will definitely be back!

The Toneys built the whole 18 hole course up themselves in the last few years on their property, and the whole thing is irrigated with well water pumped by solar power. Most of the course is flat, while there are about four "bowl holes" that take you down and out of a valley, including one with a 250 ft. drop. Fortunately there's not too much brush, so you'll probably be able to find your disc when it goes astray. Camping here was great too. The plots are spread out, and it's not crowded. You can rent one of their spacious teepees for $30, and swim in their kind of icky yet refreshing pool with the frogs and water skippers. The Toneys were great hosts, and went golfing with us.

There's an amazing playground, with areas for big kids and small kids, all themed after the amusement park that used to be here. There's also basketball, including a court for kids with a low net. If an area is reserved you'll see signs up for the timing. When there are bigger events the parking nearby tends to fill up, but when there aren't events you can usually find plenty of free parking nearby. The park has a basketball court, baseball field, tennis courts, picnic tables, disc golf, a skate park, a nice playground and even a pool. There are paved paths and there are multiple areas that are great for entertaining groups, including a stage area. They pack a lot into a relatively small area and while there's a lot to do it won't take you long to walk around. While we were walking around a family was having a party and plenty of people were utilizing the different areas for sports. There were also some people walking their dogs, like us, but some people had their dogs off leash in some of the bigger areas. There wasn't a dog park area. it was beautiful while we were there and everything was clean and well kept.

It's kind of too wide open and too close to a busy intersection and sadly the immediate neighborhood of this park has gone downhill so it's not the safest. I wouldn't come at night, but it's pretty chill by day and I don't see any "activities" in daylight. The equipment and facilities are also kind of worn out and need to be updated. We only brought our kids here once or twice as the 95831 has many parks and there are definitely quite a few others that are better. Still it's good this park is here for the kids and families within walking distance. And it's relatively safe since it is right next to a fire station so I'm sure the less positive activities are more discouraged here. Lots of open space and grassy area, plus there's tennis courts that stay open till late, very brought lit, so that's a big positive if you're looking for a place to play tennis or the latest trend of pickle ball. This park has open courts that are usually not busy. There are also a small bball court and a skate park here, so a variety of activities for everyone. The one special feature I see people use a lot here is the disc golf course which looks cool and fun, but what do I know, lol. There are bathrooms here, but they do not look that great, so I did not try using them.
