It's 11am on the 29th February 2012 and I make a decision. But I needed a tee shirt printed; its very last minute and I hope I can get it done. The handiest place that prints tee shirts to where I work is The Camden Clothing Company. I meet Scott and explain what I want. He thinks about it and says "I'll do it now". We go over what tee shirt to use. Then what I need the tee shirt to say, or ask rather. Next we discuss font, letter size and where on the tee shirt to place it. This is a super cheap place to get t-shirts made up. You can get pretty much anything on a tshirt/hoodie/caps - pictures, writing, branding. They'll do pretty much anything you ask them. You can bring your own clothes, or they can supply them. I bet this place makes A KILLING when it comes to hen and stag parties. You know the way everyone gets those silly t-shirts made up with like baby/embarrassing pictures? I bet they all go here. This is a great place to stop in if you are a home screen-printer or stenciller and want to buy plain textiles to print on. It is also a great place to go in you have a design you need printed on 1,000 shirts. Custom print orders of under 25 pieces can be pretty expensive, so why not chuck a few more t's in there and send your grandma a custom designed shirt for her birthday? Called these guys at 12pm asking if they could have two t-shirts printed that afternoon. No other company had been able to do anything less than 3 days production notice so I wasn't holding out much hope (despite the fact that they were only two t-shirts?!!) Anyway, the lady was very pleasant on the phone and asked me to send through the design to see what she could do. I duly emailed it to her and was pleasantly surprised with a snappy email straight back asking for more detail. I called down at 5pm and was able to pick up the t-shirts which were sitting there waiting for me. Both (excellent quality) t-shirts and front/back full colour printing set me back a princely sum of 40 euro. Absolute bargain and a pleasure to deal with. read more

i got two tshirts printed. the fact that you cant get pretty much anything in any design or font you want put onto a huge range of products is brilliant. the staff were very helpful and nice. the end product was perfectly made and looked great. only down side, and its a pretty big one for me, was the fact that they didnt have the same range of tshirt brands and sizes in store as they did on the website. this meant that the XL tshirt i had sized online wasnt the same as in store and i ended up with a much smaller tshirt then id expected. so a word of warning, don't pick what you want on the website then go into the store to get it as you probably wont. do one or the other, in store or online. read more

The finished product is fine, the process of getting it was annoying. The price is good for a custom shirt, 15 euro each. Print quality is good, brand selection for the shirts is also good, but a lack of color selection for each can limit your options quick. Website doesn't have any information on sizing at all, you have to research the brand yourself to get an idea of fit. Seems like some pretty basic, important information they could have on the site, but they don't. I went into the shop while in town hoping to see some of the shirts in person, for quality and color, but they had very little out to see. I inquired about my order through the website, with the specific shirt I wanted, the size, color and other details. I got a reply the next day asking for the custom design files, I sent them and didn't hear back for a week, an hour before closing on a Friday to be exact: it was a blanket email telling me the person would be on vacation for a few weeks and to email the company directly with any inquiries.... this wasn't an auto-reply vacation email, it was sent to me a week after my reply, and more than that I wasn't told if my order details were passed on to anyone. Given the lack of information I figured I'd have to do that myself, so I forwarded the email to the company email. A week later, again, right before closing on a Friday I got a reply, saying that this new person would be taking over my order and for me to send all of the details. Again. So I had to do their job for them and collect my order info again and send it to the new person. I didn't hear back for another week, and just when I was going to write again, I get an email with one sentence: come collect your shirts. No proof was ever sent for my approval, no confirmation of design size to be printed, not even a price quote, nothing. There was no communication before they were printed. Lucky for me, when I went in to collect them, everything was fine. I commented on the lack of communication and the guy said he was surprised, that they always send a proof before printing etc. and that if something were wrong they would have been reprinted. All I can do is take his word for it, because this is my first and only experience with the shop. I guess the price is good and the result is fine, thankfully I started this process way ahead of when I needed them so time wasn't a factor. I wouldn't go back if I had a short deadline, because communication is so unreliable and slow. But, there are only a few places that do such a small order, so I might have to use them again in the future, and just hope to have a better experience next time. read more

I have been thinking of a very custom design for a tie for my husband since last valentine! I was thinking of ordering it online, but they'd ship it from the US and there was no warranty if I'd get it in time or if the quality would be good. So I found this place through Google and called them over a week ago. A lady picked up and told me to send them an email, and hung up! I sent them an email explaining what I want. I never got a reply for that! After waiting for over a week I decided to take the long journey to that side of the city to meet them in person. I arrived at 6 pm and the only lady was locking the doors to leave. She totally ignored it when I told her that I never got a reply for my email! and she wasn't certain if they can do that, and again, wasn't providing me clear details about the required time or if I should get the tie myself or they'll have it themselves. Just told me to go there the next day to see what they'll do. The next day, Tuesday, I went there and entered the shop which wasn't full of sales people despite of what I thought. The same lady was there with a guy. They were sitting at their desk and didn't even give a shit that there's a customer entering the shop! I had to wave at them and try greeting loudly so that they might've looked at me! The guy looked at the design and said they've never done such a thing before and he's not sure if they can do it. I told him I want it ASAP. So he told me to get the blank tie myself and get back to him to see what they can do. I went out, browsed for a while for a tie and finally found it and went back to them. The guy wasn't there, the lady got the tie and my details and asked me when I want it. I said Wednesday, but she wrote down Thursday! I had to accept while I still didn't know if the guy got what I want and if he confirmed that he could do that. She told me that I can go there after an hour if I want to talk to the guy. I couldn't make it right in an hour, so I called them to say that I'll be there a bit later. I suppose the same guy picked up and pretended that he had no idea what I was talking about!!! (I'm sure they didn't have anyone else on that day who'd want a tie print!!) He said he hadn't talked to me but I've probably talked to X. Asking if Mr. X will be there he said very rudely that I'm taking his time too much on the phone and he's busy and he'll hang up!!! Finally I went there, expecting at least two men, but no! It was still the same guy and the same lady. They were still both very ignore-full!!! He gave me his email address and told me to email it to him! Checking his name on the card, he wasn't X. Anyways I sent him an email. He replied Wednesday morning and said he'll get back to me *in a bit*. Yesterday morning I received the email that it's ready. I got it. It was alright. There wasn't a good contrast between the white parts of the photo and the background. I never got a chance to mention it since they were being very rude and ignoring. But apart from all of these, I haven't seen many print shops around who would print on neckties. So they did that, and it was reasonably good (despite the fact that my husband didn't recognize the design on the tie as he got it today! and I had to ask him to look carefully to figure it out :( .) Ok so I havent received my order yet but I'll assume it will be perfect. However I found the staff member that I dealt with was one of the rudest and most unhelpful people Ive ever come across. I made the trek into town into the shop to nail my order and was basically told that I'd wasted my time, to sling my hook and bugger off home. It's put me off the store to be honest. Less than helpful and after weeks of discussion we get to the final stage and they say the art isn't a good enough resolution. Waste of time. Absolutely Brilliant!!! Ordered 13 t-shirts for a stags, and 2 days later they were ready and all for collection... Had great communication with one of the lads there, he was very helpful! I gave in my own design which they redrew for me, also I asked for a few special requests on some of the t-shirts which they happily done.The final product itself was amazing quality, I highly recommend these, I looked at few places online both in Ireland and the UK, however Camden Clothing offered the best value for money. I ordered a bunch of clothing from them and yet to get it on time despite has been promised to be delivered within the time frame of a week. However, today is the third week and i still did not get my order. The event is going on this coming Friday which is 4 days ahead and i have no idea what can i do if they still not complete my order. I have contacted the staff of Camden Clothing and the service is very rude . I have ask why the delay is ridiculous and they answered me it is ok to cancel my order.
