Good beer- only had one but would like to try more. Place is local, friendly, and you really feel that they appreciate you coming in for a beer. Super dog friendly and saw lots of locals. Great place to try when you want a good beer

A small brewery with nice outdoor seating and a corndog food truck in the back. POG - it's a little bitter initially but you get a nice aftertaste of passion fruit, orange, and guava. I'm not a huge fan of beer but this one was pretty good. Mexican lager - it's a little bitter with a nice wheat aftertaste.

We popped in here after a quick wine tasting, thinking we would do a quick flight. Nope. It ended up being a few hours haha! This place is small, so if you want a seat, try to get here early. We showed up probably around 4ish, and had plenty of spots, by 5, it's was packed on a Friday. The beer selection was great, they had all types of options, it was hard to choose what you wanted! I honestly LOVED the POG - my family lives in Hawaii, so it was a great surprise and tasted like we were on a beach! The bartender also had some pups that wandered around, and they were so sweet and silly! Definitely made for the experience. Highly recommend!

We stopped here just because the traffic was bad, I needed to use the restroom, and a cold beer sounded like a good idea. Wow, talk about serendipity. I am oh so glad that we stopped in here, as everything we experienced was just wonderful. From the service, to the atmosphere, to the six perfectly crafted, expertly carbonated, and delightfully cold beers on tap. The Peak Saison was quite tasty. It was easy to see why Camber Amber is the flagship beer here. However, for my palate, the "its POG!" Tropical Wheat Ale was the winner for summer porch-pounding refreshment. I took a couple crowlers of that one with me to-go, and look forward to drinking them on a hot day in the near future. Side note: I am a big fan of Two22 Brewing in East Centennial. I wear that T-shirt fairly often. I have never had so many customers I've encountered in a brewery, let alone in remote parts of the state, comment on how big a fan they are of Two22.

Checked this little brewery out while passing through town. I think they had 8 brews on tap and we left with 5. The place is pretty small but they do have an outdoor patio and a food truck. Dogs allowed! Make sure to swing by.

Good spot to watch sports games too, they have a lot of TVs around. Ordered the double ditch burger with onion rings, and a house marg. The burger was awesome. Definitely messy and was falling apart by the last few bites, but well worth it. The green chiles were a nice touch for some flavor and heat but not overpowering. Definitely filling and the move after a long ski day. The onion rings were good too - nice and crisp. The marg was strong and a fair price. Overall had a great experience here and would recommend and return.

He acted like he hated tourist, which I am sorry but probably your money maker. The second time we arrived and saw it was him, I was like oh great. he started off snarky but as we ordered more food and drinks and relaxed and actually because really nice to us by the time we left. If the weather is nice enough I suggest sitting on the patio. They have a gorgeous view and plenty of seating. We tried the Juantons and they are served with their spicy green chile. It was too spicy for me so we got a side of queso and it was perfect for dipping in. I would get these again. The margs are good here too. Pretty strong.

Excellent BBQ, sauces, sides AND margaritas!…read more We're here in WP for three weeks. This is our second visit to The Smokehouse in the last 10 days. The first time we were disappointed upon arrival when they were out of burnt ends. We're from KCMO and we judge a town's BBQ by their burnt ends. Nonetheless, the brisket, sauces and sides were enough to warrant a second visit. Oh, and that house margarita...chef's kiss! Just what a tired ass mom needs after a long day of "hey moms." On the second visit, I went early at 4PM and ordered carryout. AND a margarita while I waited! The margarita is simple, the perfect size and made with all fresh ingredients. It rivals more notable ones around town. This time, they had ALL the burnt ends and boy, were they worth the wait! I got a one meat platter with burnt ends, collards and Mac n cheese. My husband got a two meat platter with burnt ends, brisket, beans and slaw. We got KC and Texas sauces (they have 5 or 6 to choose from, all inspired by different BBQ regions in the US). Both platters came with cornbread which is the only thing that needs some work IMHO. It's small, dry and not worthy of the calories. But EVERYTHING else was soooo good! Fatty, juicy, flavorful meats. Balanced sauces. And delicious sides! The Mac, collards and beans get an A+, the slaw is a solid B. Service was great on both visits. Friendly, efficient and fast! One thing to note is they have an adorable patio. I've not eaten out there yet but it's well maintained with lots of flowers and good coverage from the sun. Might have to check it out on our third visit!
