I hear sometimes they have samples available, this time they didn't. Besides the food counter, they did have a good amount of their cheese available, in both blocks and bags. I got two bags, a black pepper cheese, and a cheese curds, both for only 11 bucks, and that was before the military/veterans discount. Those aren't airport prices, those are street prices. I was very pleased. I tried both of my cheese when I got home. You could definitely taste the black pepper, but it didn't over power the cheese. They played very well together. Things are bad enough already without adding to the chemical cesspool we call food. This place had real fresh cuts and they looked amazing. We recently purchased a smoker and were so excited to smoke some meat on the upcoming weekend. We decided on buying meat from a butcher to smoke. Looked up nearby places on the internet, and the only one open near us was Top Choice Meats. They received great reviews, so we decided to give them a shot. They're located in a strip mall with plenty of parking available. We were greeted as we walked in (always a good sign). The inside was very clean and organized. The young lady who helped us was super helpful and knowledgeable with all questions asked. We decided on a brisket, but the one in the case was around 8 lbs, which was way too big for just the two of us. She offered to cut it in half. Perfect! We got home, made a rub, and smoked it for about 4 hrs on 250°. Once the internal temperature reached 195°, we removed it to let it rest for about an hour. We sliced it and wow, oh wow, it was outstanding! The flavor of the meat was amazing. We were very happy with our first smoke. Since our first visit was great, we came back this weekend for steak and brats! We would definitely recommend this butcher. We look forward to trying more cuts of meat in the future.

They have it all- pork ribs, beef ribs, brisket, various seasoned chicken breasts and thighs, brats and sausages GALORE, raw dog food, beef jerky (with generous sampling), and so SO much more! Leslie must have seen me drooling while checking out the beef jerky, she asked me if I needed help, and I obliged. I sampled their Peppered and their Teriyaki, before I asked her what the most popular ones were. She suggested the Peppered Honey and the Sweet and Spicy- both were glorious! Those are the two we went with- the Peppered Honey had a nice peppered sweet balance and the Sweet and Spicy has a delicious kick of heat and the end. Leslie was so kind and took us around on a tour of all of their offerings, giving her personal suggestions and customer favorites. I appreciated that touch of customer service that is just non-existent and most grocery stores in their meat departments. Her service alone made us customers for life- thank you! Pro Tip: In talking with Leslie I mentioned that it was our first time there- she let us know that they serve a hot "Brat of the Day" and new customers get one on the house. My wife was busy at an acupuncture appointment nearby, so I scouted the lay of the land, promising the shopkeeper to return with my wife in tow shortly. An hour or so later, I fulfilled my promise, and the both of us spend the next 20-30 minutes browsing, and conversing with the (very pleasant) shop owner. All oils and vinegars are available for sampling, as well as a sizeable selection of salts and seasonings. There are also pasta sauces and noodles, chocolates, olives and other pickled vegetables, mustards, jellies, and similar culinary accoutrement. Among my wife's favorites were several fruit-based balsamic vinegars which, when mixed with soda water, create some tasty, low-calorie beverages that also are great for treating the persistent heartburn and indigestion she was experiencing during pregnancy. Considering my other favorite oil and vinegar shop is a five-hour drive away in Leavenworth, having Navidi's in our backyard is a blessing, and a guaranteed regular stop for us throughout the year.
