This is about as good as it gets for outlet shopping. I am deducting one star simply for the fact that you may have to circle the parking lots for quite some time to find a spot to park. This place gets packed out and is totally crazy come the holiday season. If you plan on shopping here (typically that seems to be on the weekend) then I would advise going when they open or the last couple hours that they are open. It isn't nearly as hectic then and you can get in and out of places much quicker as well as find parking spots much easier!! All the typical outlet stores you would expect to find - some high end - some sporting goods apparel - stuff for the home - women's purse brands ----- like I said, all the staples that make up most of the outlets you go to. The difference here, this place is large - clean - well maintained and for the most part people seem to be happy to be here. Taking away one star due to the mess inside the parking area. Needed to park outside close to the highway since it was really impossible. You just walk the parking lot and every driver asking you if you are leaving. And the paid parking area they closed ($5 to park) was also full. I haven't been to an outlet in a long time. This outlet has my favorite store ever: BCBG. I usually order all of my clothes online so it was so nice to actually try on clothes for a change. We also stopped by at Watch Station Outlet and bought Esther a watch. We also stopped by Kate Spade New York Outlet and I got a new wallet. I'm not a purse kind of girl so my wallets really get their wear and tear. After all that shopping we choose to eat at Pink's Hot Dogs.They have amazing and unique hot dogs to choose from. For review #600, why not revisit an old favorite haunt? When the outlet mall craze hit America in the 90's, along came Camarillo's entry into the sweepstakes of off-price shopping ecstasy. That this location endured when others failed is a combination of location, timing, style, and management. There are a plethora of stores, including many high end designer brands. Personally, I prefer more targeted options like Van Heusen / Bass, Izod, and a shoe store I can't remember the name of right now. LOL. I know how to find it, though. I miss places like Welcome Home, where I loved to wander back in the day. Lately, Adored Grandson has asked us to take him to the Nike outlet, so we've been in that section of the mall more frequently. Definitely recommend going in off hours, like dinnertime during the week, or early in the day for less parking hassles, and more elbow room in the stores. There are food options sprinkled around, like Wetzel's Pretzels, Yogurtland, Starbucks, and Panera Bread in the various sections of the spread out uber-mall. One must keep one's strength up for a shopping trip like this one! It's clean, it's large with three major areas, It's popular, with many people coming out from L.A. to shop. Huge outlet close to L.A. lower taxes in Ventura too. I made a mistake and ate at their little food court here. It's about 3 plazas of outlet shopping but for food go to the one with the theater because they have Chipotle Smashburger etc. Other than that, happy shopping! read more

Okay, now I am not one who likes to go shopping too much. Back in the day, I actually found the Camarillo Premium Outlets to be quite nice. Lately, though, I'm not so much a fan. Maybe it's because we are still in this crazy covid pandemic time. Stopped by a couple of weekends ago, and it was just way too busy!! In fact, finding a parking spot was not even an easy task. Folks were waiting in long lines outside the most popular stores like Nike. Many not even wearing facemasks or social distancing. If you do not mind braving the crowds, then you will have a large selection of stores to patronize. Seriously, there is a shop for everyone. I'm sure we will return in the future. It is a huge one. I am not sure but I think it is the biggest in the area. Decided into 2 parts, each one has its own brand names. I think that a lot of thought was put into the design and to where each store would be placed. Often you will find few stores that are almost alike in one section. Something that makes things easier. Also, the better part of this place is that you can park just by the store's entrance. No need to for long walks just to get to a specific store. Also, if the weather is good, it is kind of fun even to walk and leave the car behind. Many stores, I think you will find all of what you need here. read more

This place has really became a dump. Drove all the way here to grab some food and do some shopping. Food court hours are supposed to be 10:00am-7:00pm. It's clearly posted on the website, Siri and outside. Arrived at 6:39 and was told by the lady at Charley's Cheesesteaks that they closed early because "it's slow". Sbarro Pizza, same thing. It's Friday, the parking lot is full, but they're slow. Cancel the shopping, I won't spend another dime in this dump. I don't support businesses with lazy employees and poor management. read more

Some of the stores that I always hit up are Tommy Bahama, Under Armour, Oakley Vault, Bose Factory Outlet and The North Face to name just a few. Camarillo Premium Outlets is HIUUUGE. The outlets is organized in three count them, THREE completely inclusive sections. Granted we did see a handful of stores repeated in the different outdoor malls still, each section very different. There is just about any shop you could want, adequate bathroom and rest stop facilities, and a nice selection of eateries available. When you first get to the outlets be sure to look for the customer service desk where you will get a discount book for additional savings just for checking in on yelp, just for being a AAA member, just for being a "mature" adult. And tryst me, you want that savings book. Between my shopping partner and I we saved enough to pay for dinner and more! As for dinner...you want a burger...Johnny Rockets here! Mexican...no problem. Quick and light...try their food court. And if you want Panera Bread, Soup Plantation, etc...there are a multitude of these and others within the quick mile around. Shopping area expansive. My brother and I didn't realize how large this Outlet was till we checked out the map to see that it was broken up to three large sections with the Disney store that I wanted to go to being on one end of a section of the Outlet containing Gap, restaurants and more. We ended up eating breakfast at the food court located in the middle section of the Outlet and we literally had a knock off version of Panda Express called China Max that had awesome spicy chicken and orange chicken. Definitely breakfast for champions right there lolz We got dessert at Rocky Mountain Candy store and then split off from our parents to do our own exploring. I was really only interested in the Disney store, so we definitely got our steps in, but I ended up buying shorts from Gap that were on sale. We went into a couple of stores here and there, but really we were Pokemon hunting and playing Harry Potter too on our phones lolz Defintiely wish they had more stores that I liked, but overall you can probably find one or two stores you like amongst your family to visit. read more

I go to the Outlets a few times a year. Great place to shop and they have clothes that are not in their counter part stores that are in malls. Its a little bit of a drive from the Valley but well worth it. I go to Anne Taylor, Gap, Old Navy and even a nice knock of perfume store. I applaud them for their diverse range of stores! Whether it's Gucci, Le Creuset or Pacsun, the Camarillo Outlets does a great job at providing enticing options for shoppers at various ages. My only qualm is its dispersed layout. If you're the type of shopper who prefers to have all of the stores in one concise area, I don't think you would have the most enjoyable experience. Similar to the Gilroy Outlets, the stores are scattered across a number of plazas, so it does require some strategic planning of where to park and shop. Parking can be difficult and arduous during peak hours in the afternoon on the weekends. Luckily, I arrived a little after 11am, so I didn't face any issues. Just a heads up, T-Mobile users (like myself) may have poor reception in this area, which made it tough when I needed to contact someone or use my phone for anything in general. read more

And you get VIP coupons when you check-in on Yelp...you take your phone to their information center (I think that is what it's called)...and they will click Use Now for you. Because I haven't been to other outlet malls, I don't have any to compare this one with, so my 4 stars is by my experience and I didn't want to give it a 5 because I'm sure there are better ones out there. This place is humongous!! There are like 3 sections!!! The newest one where the Disney store is...that one you would have to drive there. They have a great variety of shops. Most of the people who work at the outlets and hardworking and welcoming. You can find some great deals on quality items. I have found handbags for 30- 50 percent cheaper than in the regular store. Athletic wear and shoes are also 30-50 percent cheaper here. Tax in Ventura county is cheaper than LA, so that is another great way to save. read more

One of the best outlets in Southern California! There's plenty of stores to shop at and most of them have discounts from 30%-40%. Some of the bigger stores include Nike, Adidas, Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, and Banana Republic. There's also designer brand companies like Prada, Versace, Jimmy Choo, and Salvatore Ferragamo. The only downside of this outlet are the crowds and parking. When it gets busy, you'll find yourself circling around looking for a spot unless you get lucky. There are a few things we learned as children from "Sesame Street" aside from just counting and that it is okay to be grouchy while sitting in a trash can (I mean, who WOULDN'T be grouchy in such a circumstance?!). One of the lessons deprived from the hit show is that things need to be conducted in order. What does this have to do with the Camarillo Outlets? Merely that it is on the way to Santa Barbara from LA and one HAS to stop by here first. It is the order that things have to be done in. Just ask Big Bird. The Camarillo Outlets are a bit unsuspecting upon drive-by, as it isn't marked by any grand structures (such as the massive gate at the Citadel) and is set-up in a fashion more reminiscent of a strip plaza than an outdoor mall. So much so, that walking isn't encouraged due to the absence of a circular blueprint and shoppers instead have to drive to various parts (unless you REALLY enjoy walking while lugging shopping bags). On the bright side, the Camarillo Outlets feature a massive parking lot and it is free. What kind of stores can you find at Camarillo? You have your standard Aldo, Vans, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, Disney Outlet, and American Eagle. Add to this: Calvin Klein, BCBG, Bebe, Elie Tahari, Levi's, Kate Spade, and a Saks. Shoe stores are featured with New Balance, Puma, and Steve Madden, some jewelry stores are sprinkled throughout, and a food court is available with Panera, Dairy Queen, and Subway. The positives of this experience is the customer service. At each store I ventured into, I was was immediately welcomed by a store associate asking if I needed help. This is a step up from a normal mall experience or that of the Citadel Outlets. Most of the stores were clean, easily maneuverable, and featured products and clothing akin to current fashions and styles. On the negative side, the prices weren't really that reduced. Either they weren't at all, or merely at a price that can barely even called a sale. This seems to be a trend at outlets in the area as it is also the case at the Citadel. Is your stomach rumbling from all the shopping? Food options are merely in the fast-food realm with nothing healthy (unless you consider Panera and Subway healthy) and no real 'sit-down' restaurants. The Camarillo Outlets aren't really a foodie's paradise. No worries if you have to go to the bathroom though: they are clean, spacious, and well maintained. There are some plus points such as discount coupons on the website and email lists which also include freebies and discounts. Overall, the Camarillo Outlets aren't bad but still leave the search for an amazing outlet mall to continue. Regardless of mediocre status; one MUST visit on the way to Santa Barbara. There is a food mall area but did not get to go in there to see the offerings. Saw many cute dogs too! Listen closely: First, park in an area you'll be able to easily find your car, even with your hands full of bags (it sucks being lost with 5-6 bags). Real talk, look at the map online and strategically park your car. Second, check- in on Yelp (you can also use your aaa card in person) and get a coupon book from the visitor desk (they have a couple visitor desks throughout the outlet in restroom hallways). Third, grab a paper map and start marking off your route. The outlet is big and spread out -- you might miss something. They have Nike (always crowded). It's hit and miss but when you hit, you hit big. Van Heusen is a must for all guys who like that dress clothes wardrobe. I seem to spend a lot of time and money there (go figure). I can sit here and tell you Lucky is great, Adidas is less crowded than Nike, and that American Apparel is gone. But, you can look up all the stores online and see them in the coupon book or map. Many stores offer deals in the coupon book (a few stores like Nike do not). The prices in the outlet are usually pretty good all around. Extra store sales and the coupon offers make them even better. We drive up from LA and it's usually worth it. The newer side with the movie theater has real restaurants (Los Arroyos was pretty decent). Yelp 100 Challenge 2018 - # 45/100 Although I only visited two stores I was happy enough that I'd rate this 4 stars. I was lucky to find parking close to the Nike store as I chanced on someone leaving. After I made my purchase at Nike and dropping them off in my trunk, I made my way to Michael Kors. Found some great sales there too. I was in and out in an hour. Would've loved to stay and check out the other stores but I didn't want to get caught in rush hour traffic and also I didn't want my pockets to suffer too much. Restrooms were close by and clean. Wouldn't really make the drive out this far even for the great sales I found but I'll drop by when I'm already in the area. This is a great outlet mall will so many stores to choose from. The mall is conveniently located just off the freeway. Study the map before making a visit. This outlet mall has 3 sections with 3 different parking areas so you want to make sure you are in the right section for the stores you plan to shop at. So many win at Camarillo outlet! First thing first, Camarillo outlet is only an hour away from LA. It's a boring ride but think of it this way: if you commute everyday to work 40 minutes one way, add additional 20 minute and hit up Camarillo outlet on the weekend! Second, there are so many big brand names in this outlet. The newest eddition to the mall is Michael Kors and Juicy Couture but there are your usual classics such as Coach, Diesel, Adidas, Nike, Levi's, True Religion, 7 for All Man Kind, Steve Madden, Banana Republic and many more! I love scoping out Coach because they have cute wristlets for only $20! All the medium to large size purses are such a steal (cheapest one I've seen is $99!) Nike has a sale where every item in the store was additional 30% off from the reduced/marked price! I got a nice medium size duffel bag for only $20! I love sales! This outlet is nice because there are total of 154 stores so you will find something for everyone! My boyfriend happily shopped with me for 4 hours scoping some great deals for himself as well. :) They even have a movie theatre and promenade section. I believe the premonade doesn't carry outlet price/deals but they have the Nordstrom rack and last call by Neiman Marcus, which always carries out high-end brand names for reasonable price. They also have panera bread if you don't like any of the food court food they offer (which isn't oh so great). Last but not least, if you're a Triple-A member, you can go to the management office next to the chocolate factory and get yourself a VIP coupon book. Some stores may not accept combining the VIP coubon with the store deal but Levi's gave me $10 off for each jeans (store deal) AND let me use $15 off $100+ coupon! Best time to be there is at 10AM when they open if you don't want to worry about parking spots and lots of traffic or later in the evening. I like this outlet center because they have a good variety of high end stores, including a Neiman Marcus (which seems like a pretty odd thing to find in Camarillo but there you go). The food court is clean and has good options. The outlet stores go on and on seemingly forever (seriously, it's like 3 different strip malls at this point, separated by actual roads; the place just keeps growing!) When I got a promotion at work I came to this outlet mall to find new work clothes for the business meetings I would be going to. I found great clothes at very reasonable prices. When I stopped here last night one of the stalls in the women's restroom needed serious attention, but aside from that, the place was clean and attractive. read more
