From the very beginning, Meg was our point of contact. She was very professional and incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Every question we had was answered quickly and clearly, which made planning so much less stressful. Our lead photographer was Kevin. We met at our engagement shoot where he made us feel completely comfortable (we can be quite awkward!). The engagement photos came out beautiful and people loved our save-the-date photos! The wedding day was super hectic but Kevin was super PRO with handling the chaos. Dan was also great as our second photographer -he is always smiley! They were calm, reassuring, and knew exactly what they were doing. The photos are absolutely stunning, beautiful, light and airy. The lighting, composition, and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. Looking through our gallery felt like reliving the entire day all over again, from the big moments to the small candid ones we didn't even realize were happening. We cannot recommend them enough!

First consult meeting and follow up emails with Meg were very helpful; she was lighthearted yet professional, and we felt comfortable trusting them with our special day. Once we met our photographer Jenna, we felt the same way. Jenna was an absolute pleasure to work with and she was so patient, kind, and funny! We're clueless with poses, but with her personality she made our photoshoot experience enjoyable and not awkward at all (first look/couple portraits, family and wedding party portraits). She gave professional advice throughout the day and followed our timeline as well as requests for specific shots. Our photos came back within the quoted time frame of 6-8 weeks and they are amazing. We're thankful for Jenna capturing special moments and highly recommend her and the KLV team!

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

You know a photographer seriously wants to capture the best pictures of your baby if they want you…read moreto come back when baby is fed, well slept, and happy. For some reason things just didn't align well with my baby's naps and feedings that day so it was hard to manage a tired baby but they managed to get real good photos of my baby and the family. My baby didn't really smile much yet but they were still able to get smiling pictures of her too. Very professional and works so hard to get the best pictures. I was truly grateful for this studio and loved my experience. Also the picture quality was amazing!! The backgrounds were cute and the clothes were so adorable too!! The price point is reasonable and I'd say cheaper than some others for a better quality. I think the turn around time to receive the photos were faster than we expected too. Truly appreciate working with this photographer. He really seems to love what he does and we are blessed with these amazing photos!!! Couple things to note/tips: 1. Go when your baby can smile. Yes after their neck strength gets way better too. My baby still can't really smile yet and she's 4 months old. I really wanted to push having 100 day photos when she was 3.5 months old so neck strength and expressions aren't expected. 1a. Also go when your baby is well fed, pooped, rested, good condition, etc. makes a world of difference. 2. They give you a looooot of photos to choose from. Be prepared to be pleasantly overwhelmed with photos. If you get decision fatigue then ask your spouse to help. Cause I loved getting the full gamut of photos. 3. They have a wardrobe but if you want your baby to wear something specific, bring it! Their wardrobe is pretty cute tho and fits with their backgrounds. 4. They have set backgrounds to choose from in their studio. The backgrounds are really cute but if you're looking for something specific, unique, tailored to you, the studio setting might not be for you. But tbh all 100 day, dohl, event photos basically look the same...so I would think it's odd to expect something different. I've seen tons of beach engagement pics. Tons of dohl pics with the same backgrounds and balloons. So why complain about a studio pic with similar styles and backgrounds or lack of variety? You're already the unique and different baby/family. So there's that. 5. Bring a toy or something that can get your baby's attention. I realized belatedly my baby likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She also likes her little fox doll. If your baby has a preference for a toy, perhaps being prepared like that will help with the experience! 6. Match your clothes with your family and partner beforehand. Clothes, accessories and shoes too so they look cohesive in the photos! Belatedly realized my husband's shoes didn't match any of our family's and my son's also seemed a little too bright. Oh well. Overall I loved the photos! Thank you again for the awesome and kind experience!!!

This little boutique is rich in history and magic. The Silhouette Studio has remained largely unchanged since its debut along with the original Disneyland park when it opened in July 1955. This is one of those classic experiences that has endured through the years! What makes this experience at Silhouette Studio truly unique is the overall experience itself. You don't buy an souvenir here. Rather, you are given a chance to sit before a trained artist who will cut your profile into thin strips of paper in approximately 90 seconds. It's really impressive to see how fast and accurate the artist can make a picture with nothing but a pair of scissors and some pieces of paper! Your resulting keepsake will be one of a kind! The shop itself is pretty small and easy to miss, located along Main Street near other shops, but that adds to its charm. Because of its size, it can get a little crowded at times, especially when people are waiting for their turn. But the process moves fairly quickly, and it's definitely worth the short wait for such a unique souvenir. Silhouette Studio is one of those hidden gems at Disneyland that offers such a fantastic experience! It's simple, artistic, and incredibly special! It's perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to take home a unique memory from their visit. Magic Key Holder Discounts and Disney Vacation Club Discounts are accepted at the Silhouette Studio! It's also usually open as soon as the theme park opens and closes!

The booking process was super simple, the session itself was easy and seamless, and she even got the photos back to us sooner than expected. My hubby and I aren't big fans of being in front of the camera, but Kelsey made us feel very at ease. She was also able handle our two girls (ages 6 and 3), who can be quite the handful. They quickly warmed up to Kelsey and she was able to get such nice candid and genuine smiles from them, which is quite the struggle most of the time. The girls had such a fun time, they're asking when the next photoshoot is going to be! Our session was right at sunset, which I think is a wonderful time to take photos. The location she chose was nice and secluded, with easy and plentiful parking. 15 minutes seems like it wouldn't be enough time to take many photos, but she was able to capture quite a lot for us, and it didn't feel rushed at all. We are extremely happy with the gallery Kelsey captured for us, will definitely keep her in mind for any future photography needs and won't hesitate to recommend her to our friends and family! I appreciate how her packages INCLUDING prices are listed on her website as opposed to the websites who require you to contact them for pricing. Kelsey was great at communicating via email and text message. She arrived right on time! Our dog was not very fond of the stranger in our home and our baby was still awake but Kelsey was so patient and everything ended up working out. With a newborn, our house was a hot mess but only parts of our room and nursery would be needed to be "clean" for the photos. Kelsey had some swaddle blankets on hand which I opted for since it was more decorative than the ones I had. She posed us in various ways and asked us if we wanted any particular shots. Kelsey made us feel comfortable which shows in our photos. Our photos arrived via email in the time frame given and I'm obsessed! Thank you for a great experience and our memorable family photos!
