After continued attempts to get a hold of Angela via phone and emails, I finally tried TEXTING Angela in November. I was happy to see a text response from her! but then baffled when I read her message. I've attempted to post screenshots of the text exchange but it appears only a portion is posting. In summary, Angela stated she felt she was harassed by me and would not respond to my bullying tactics. Again, I was dumbfounded. Ultimately, she refused to return our $100 deposit and went silent on us again. In hindsight, I should have noticed that most of the Yelp reviews are over a year old. I don't see any recent reviews which should have been a red flag. I hope Angela is able to improve her operations and customer experience as she is clearly talented at taking beautiful photos.

Carissa is on their recommended vendors list, so she knew exactly where and when to take all the photos so that we didn't waste any time and so that the photos would look AMAZING. I was so glad we had her there because otherwise I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to get all the photos we needed to in that time period. Also, we LOVE her photography style, which (to us) seemed happy, airy, + romantic. She brought a second photographer with her (Dipan) and they were both professional, efficient, and fun to work with -- all of which we greatly appreciated especially given our time constraints. She is also very prepared: a few weeks before the wedding, she sent out a detailed questionnaire asking what kind of photos we definitely wanted, any particular special details, how much direction we needed, if we wanted to be romantic/goofy/etc... which really tailors the photography experience to each couple's personalities. My husband and I are not used to posing in front of the camera so we asked for A LOT of direction... and Carissa and Dipan knew exactly how to pose us and make us feel relaxed. Now, as for the African American woman assisting with the photos (I didn't catch her name, unfortunately), the experience with her was absolutely terrible. When she asked if I had any coupons, I mentioned that I was sure I could find one on the website. She immediately told me it would take 24 hours to activate. While I was literally pulling it up, she then changed her story and said it was a different website she was referring to. It felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. On top of that, she clearly lacks basic photography/customer service skills. She was just snapping pictures without giving any direction at all no adjustments, no help fixing poses, no guidance with my kids, nothing. I had to keep stopping the session myself to fix my children because she couldn't be bothered to say anything and just kept taking bad shots. What made it worse is that when it came time to choose photos, I truly feel like she intentionally selected the worst possible ones when I know there were much better options taken during the session. Overall, this was a frustrating, unprofessional, and disappointing experience. The rude attitude alone was enough to make sure I will never return. I absolutely would not recommend this location to anyone.
