We came in the perfect time, while all the fall colors are putting on their best show. This park/ campground sits right along a huge lake, and the views are pretty incredible. It does cost a small bit to be able to enter the park, but there is plenty of places to stop and park and hang out once you get in. We only stayed for part of a day but you are able to fully camp there with plenty of amenities provided. Definitely a hidden place off the road, and West Point is not typically a town you accidentally pass through, but if you're ever in the area I'd highly recommend spending some time in nature with a visit here! It's sure to boost your mood!

For the price... ($15) It's a great little water park. It has two pretty decent slides, a pool, and…read morea kiddie area. It would be super if it has a lazy river!! They have daily specials which help the pocketbook, such as moms get in free day or 2 for 1 day. It's a nice little place to take the family. I like the picnic tables right outside the park where we can eat our lunch:)

It's main features are a brick walk of paving stones engraved with the names of volunteers and donors and many are dedicated to remembered veteran family members. There is a central American flag surrounded by separate flags for each of the different branches of the US military. A polished black stone of POW-MIA "You are not forgotten" is on one of the paths and list of those from Lanett and Chambers County who lost their lices in America's conflicts.
